The Restaurant battle and Nami

When the warlord had disappeared from the scene, the mysterious aura also disappeared. What was left was the battle for the restaurant.

"Oi Luffy, that guy over there is probably going to kill all the cooks and take away the restaurant. "

Usopp said to Luffy and pointed at Kreig.

"What?! He is going to destroy the place where we get tasty food?! I'll teach him a lesson or two about that!"

"You of all people talk of giving lessons to others? What is happening tho this world? Anyway, I'll take on the pirates and you take care of the boss. Just felt like fighting some low level mobs after facing...that."

Usopp wanted to test some technique combos on these guys for facing multiple targets, as his multiple target live practice were only against birds and shoals of fish. He also wanted to check out the method he had used for hardening Armament Haki.

"Don't have a problem with that. I don't want to destroy the place where our new crew member grew up after all."

"New crew? You went ahead and found one already huh. Is that the blonde guy with the weird eyebrows over there? Looks strong enough as a fighting force. Anyway, I'll clean these idiots up."

Luffy and Usopp went towards their own battlefields. Usopp went straight to the roof and confirmed the strength of the pirates, which was pretty lacking to his eyes. The Baratie guys used some kind of cannon boat against a few of the enemies at the same time but Kreig threw it away like it was nothing. The new crew member Sanji jumped up and kicked the approaching boat, showing his strength as well. Everyone was impressed with the show of strength, until the pirates landed on the Baratie and started overpowering the rest of them while Sanji was preoccupied by this weird guy wearing metal shields on his body.

Usopp took out the normal ammo and shot it at those pirates who were about to seriously injure the cooks. Then he took out a special ammo and shot it at the idiotic looking shield guy, who had started to produce fire from his body.

"[Sure Kill: Implode]!"

The attack literally blew the guy's armor and it looked like he was close to death. Usopp was not used to such human misery but held on. He saw some better fighters appear between the men and one guy in particular was stronger than Sanji. Usopp jumped down and entered into CQC Mode. He sheathed his catapult and took an offensive stance.

"[Impact punch]!"

The punch hit the enemy in the front and he rolled into the other enemies as if he was a cannonball. The ones who tried to stop his momentum were also hit with an energy impact from his body, which threw them away too. Also, the one who was hit looked like he was dead and the rest were seriously injured. Usopp had developed this attack when fighting against a frenzy of sharks. This attack also used beginner stage haki to work. It could KO most enemies and was a an attack that could neutralize human wave tactics too.

"Now, let me see how strong hardening is."

He then focused Armament haki on his arms and made a mental image of increasing the density of the haki. Both his arms turned black with a hint of violet and looked at his next opponent- the commander of the Kreig pirates, Gin. Gin was already sweating profusely since he had witnessed the actions of this long nosed monster. The way he had easily taken out most of the cannon fodder and the veteran units were feats he thought weren't possible, considering that Ussop had done it in under a few seconds for each battle.

Usopp rushed at Gin and quickly closed the distance. He went for a normal punch, though it was beyond normal since Hardening was used. Gin had already been in a defensive stance, but Usopp's punch broke both of his batons and hit his chest. He was sent flying straight into Kreig, who was also now in the sky. Kreig's battle with Luffy had ended quickly because Luffy's strength had been stimulated too much by the training suit. Luffy only had to use a [gomu gomu no Bazooka] on him which broke his armor and sent him flying while splitting blood because of the excessive strength Luffy had used, which he was adjusting to at that time. Luffy's body already had the ability to project that level of strength before but his control and focusing techniques were lacking, which led to the current predicament of Don Kreig being run over like a random gangster due to Luffy becoming able enough to use a little bit of that strength. Gin and Krieg rammed into each other midair and landed on the remains of Kreig's battleship.

"Oi Usopp! Don't take out my prey too!"

"Consider it payback for not letting me punch Kuro!"

"..."

"Say something or I'll feel bad somehow!"

"I am hungry."

Usopp and the rest were looking at Sanji kneeling in front of Zeff, giving his thanks to the man who had saved his life and brought him up. He then came abroad the Going Merry and looked at the ragtag group which was going to be his companions and his eyes stopped on Nami.

"Oh my beautiful lwadyy!!!"

He started moving towards Nami while doing the trademark noodle dance. On a side note, Usopp thought that it was a good foot technique for confusing people. His movement ended with a foot to his face that sent him flying. That was when Luffy looked at Nami and was confused about something.

"Nami, what happened to you, not feeling well? I feel like you are not acting like yourself."

"Ahhhh. I wanted to end our partnership and steal all your money, but that long nose made me rethink some matters."

Luffy was angry when he heard she wanted to run away from the crew, But Usopp stopped him.

"You might as well talk about your situation, Nami. Especially about the relation between you and the Arlong Pirates."

"How did you-"

"I happened to see that tattoo on your arm a while back. Why did you think I brought up the matter of the Arlong pirates for no reason when we were talking a while ago?"

Usopp wanted Nami to start explaining the matter directly and hence brought up the Arlong Pirates. He also wanted to get Zoro to a doctor to treat the wounds better.

"Well, I am sorry for fooling you guys but..."

Nami began to explain her situation to the crew, like how she was brought up by Bellemere and how Arlong killed her. Nami's actions as to why she wanted to steal money and her deal with Arlong. Usopp listened to it to confirm some matters, while Luffy was trying his best to look serious. Sanji was the most emotional throughout, and currently he looked like he would catch fire.

"That bastard dares to do such merciless things to Nami-swan! I'll gut and bone that fish and turn him into shark fin soup!"

Sanji perfectly portrayed what was in everyone's minds. Luffy walked towards Nami and looked her in the eye.

"So Nami...what will you do?"

" Isn't that obvious? I can only ask you guys to help me take back my village. Please lend me your strength and I'll do anything you want to."

Luffy turned around and looked at the rest of the crew. Usopp, Sanji and Zoro- who had been able to move after a while, faced their captain who looked like he made his decision.

" You guys... we have one job. Our destination- Coconomi Village. Raise the sails and start paddling... we'll be going full speed ahead. Our objective- Obliterate the Arlong Pirates!"

...

" I almost forgot! Oi Luffy, acting cool is good and all but don't forget to put the training suit on! I increased it to match your current strength so you can train properly!"

"NOOOOOOO!!!"

One could see Luffy and Usopp running in circles at the deck while Sanji was looking in the direction of Coconomi Village chanting every single shark dish he could remember like a curse. Looking at the mess they were making, Nami was doubting all the decisions she made in her life.
