[4 years later]

Usopp is now 12 years old who is well known for being the biggest liar in the Syrup village and the Gecko islands. He also became famous for his inventions that helped to make people's lives better, like creating an automated pump and water storage for the village and a semi automatic machine for processing grain which had better efficiency than the previous setup. The processing methods for a handheld catapult with better strength and durability was adopted by the village craftsmen, although the more advanced techniques for increasing tensile strength and accuracy was withheld. All these creations helped Usopp gain a stable income which could support his research and lifestyle.

" Now that my catapult has reached its pinnacle in quality with the resources that i could acquire from East Blue, I can begin the research into the advanced ammunition that i require. I probably will reach a wall quickly since i require the dial technology from the Sky Islands to increase the attack output."

He had already prepared prototype blueprints for his ammo, which included the types that could capture, injure, kill or obliterate his enemies. He was sure that when he had completed his research into the ammunition and made enough of them, he would hold the ability to survive against mid-low tier pirate crews of Paradise just by himself.

But the development of his ammo was not going as fast as he wanted, as his research tended to blow up in his face. He had personally tasted most of the evil monstrosities that he would be using against his enemies, while feeling sorry for doing so since his knew how badly the highest grade chili sauce felt on direct contact with a person's face.

" Thank the gods that the technology is not that advanced or i might get the stupid idea of creating something like the Rasenshuriken and kill myself along with the entire village."

Thought our protagonist while creating ammo which would implode on impact and had the strength to sink a medium level Marine ship.

When our great liar/inventor wasn't trying to kill himself painfully, he would be at the training grounds exercising to the point where he would feel that death was the better option. Strength and endurance building exercises were the bread and butter for Usopp, since his fear of death was unparalleled for a combatant in the Great Pirate Era.

" The strength to carry 1 ton on my body without affecting its growth, and the endurance of carrying it around for 2 hours maximum. Speed is relative as I haven't begun developing movement techniques since my body is not developed enough. With soru, I won't have to fear Captain Kuro and his minions later. "

Usopp had a rough idea of how much his body could hold before it breaks, thanks to the meditation exercises that he did to increase his focus and instinct. He also felt a wall stopping his further development, which was the lack of fundamental fighting techniques and opponents to practice it on. Thus he decided to create some training dummies and practice basic karate and taekwondo kata that he remembered, along with the self defense counterattack techniques which he saw on TV in his past life and polish it further into a usable hand to hand combat technique.

The self proclaimed king of snipers had focused on close combat shooting techniques which he trained himself to a point where an area of 250 meters around him was a kill zone, and he could destroy a few platoons worth of Marines and multiple lieutenant class Marines from the Headquarters or their pirate equivalents. He created two major attack series, the Hammer style and the Punisher style. The hammer style created blunt impacts which was useful for destroying armor and combating medium sized monsters. The essence of it was to use the force in such a way that the bullet would spread the damage throughout the impacted thing's body. The Punisher series used spin to increase its penetrating power, and was currently strong enough to create dents on a thick steel plate.

"I have to hang the jolly roger of the Usopp Pirates. And I think I forgot something important."

" Ah. That is the liar oniichan."

"Yeah you're right. Oi Liar oniichan, what are you doing?"

"Yeah liar oniichan what are you doing?"

Usopp saw the three village brats come out of the woods who immediately started to rain questions on him.

'Now I know what i forgot about. These three pipsqueaks would be my crew for the next five years huh.'

"I am planting my pirate flag to mark this territory. Since you three came here at this time, consider that it was destiny that brought you here! You are now part of the Usopp Pirate crew!"

Proclaimed Usopp in a grandiose manner that made the three flinch but at the same time feel sorry for the person, though they did not know why.

"Ehhh...no way!" X 3

Yelled the three as they made faces at Usopp. But considering the thick skin he had, he beat the three 6 year olds into submission with no shame whatsoever.

"Now begins the chapter of the adventures of the great Usopp Pirates. As the induction ceremony, you three will follow me and repeat what I say clearly and loudly. Understood?"

"YES!"

Three crisp replies came from the kids, who had lumps on their heads and tears on their faces, clearly looking like they had been badly bullied.

" So shout along with me... THE PIRATES ARE HERE!"
