Chapter 18 Von Family

Van Auger and Cross walked towards the ship where Van Auger killed Zad. Seeing this, Cross only saw a little helpless. Because the smell of blood in the ship is very stinging.

"Yes we have it, please come with me. I'll take you there" replied the woman. After walking for about five minutes they arrived at the steel storage area.

"This is the best quality steel we have" the woman explained with a smile.

Cross walked then held the steel in the storage area. 'Well this is pretty good' Cross thought. Then Cross asked, "what is the price of all the steel here?"

"Eh?" the woman seemed a little confused.

"I want to buy all the steel here. Can't I buy all of them?" Cross explained to the woman.

"Ah, wait a minute sir I will check" after checking the book she was carrying she told Cross the price. "Everything is 280 million berries."

"I'll pay for it now, Auger follows her to pay for everything," Cross told Van Auger while giving the money needed. Van Auger just nodded and followed the woman. After everyone left, Cross saved all the steel in his inventory. Then he came out of the storage to meet Van Auger. Van Auger has been waiting for Cross because the payment is over. Seeing Van Auger finished paying Cross out of the building.

"You can go, Auger, I'll go back to the inn," Cross said. Auger just nodded and left.

Then Cross went to the inn and he walked towards Pascia room. He knocked on the door of Pascia room. "Let's go around this city with me," Cross said. Pascia refused politely. Cross was helpless to hear Pascia's answer. And he knew that Pascia needed time to accept the only person he could trust to be a pirate. Cross walked around the city until he saw two boys with severe injuries. He checked both of them and their wounds did not hit the vital part. Cross took the two people to the nearest clinic. When he wanted to enter the clinic a woman wanted to hit him with a stick but Cross avoided the attack.

"What are you doing?!" Cross shouted at the woman.

"I should ask that !! What did you do to Komuro and Hisashi ?!" the woman asked in a louder voice.

Hearing scream someone came out of the treatment room and asked "Rei why are you shouting?"

Seeing the woman who had just come Cross was relieved that there was someone who thinks with the brain, not the muscle. But he also felt uncomfortable for a reason but he didn't even know. He did not want to think so much so he asked "you are a doctor here right? Can you take care of the condition of both of them? I have given first aid and their vital organs are not in danger because I have checked it."

"Eh? Komuro and Hisashi? Let's hurry inside. I'll take care of them. Rei please don't make a problem. And you please don't go first because I want to ask something" with scary eyes.

"All right," Cross replied helplessly.

After checking the condition of the two men the doctor walked towards Cross. Then sit in front of him and ask "what happened?"

"I don't know, I found both of them lying on the side of the road" answering while shrugging.

"Rei calm down, angry will not solve the problem," said the doctor.

"YOU ..." Rei was really angry with Cross's words.
