Chapter 62: Arthur's death

[A few minutes before Odrick entered the cave ]

Whistle!

The Eagle whistled at the top of his voice as he attacked Odrick, who came out from among the trees running towards the cave.

A burning meteorite fell from the sky and when it approached Odrick, he pointed his sharp claws and attacked with maximum force.

Sensing the danger, Odrick jumped and ran, avoiding the Eagle's attack, the eagle landed hard on the ground, causing a small hole to appear from which the dust flew out to make the vision very blurry.

The eagle quickly turned his head, ignoring the pain in his foot and checked his surroundings searching for Odrick, but he could not see anything because of the flying dirt near his eye, suddenly a giant shadow appeared, making a big fist in front of the Eagle's face.

Odrick looked at the eagle lying in the ground with dead eyes and then turned around and headed towards the entrance to the cave, but he quickly realized his mistake, with a graceful movement Odrick tried to dodge the claws attacking him from behind but was delayed.

Blood flew out and three bloody wounds appeared on Odrick's back, the Eagle stood swaying in place as if it would fall at any moment.

Time froze at that moment and Arthur saw everything that was going on around him and inside him with slow vision, the huge sword that was heading towards his heart and the cells invading his body were almost stopped for him.

"One of us will survive" with a small sigh Arthur moved his hand holding the dagger a little slowly and pointed the dagger towards Odrick's sword, the sword collided with the dagger causing him to deviate a little but continued to head towards Arthur's chest as sparks flew everywhere.

The sword jammed into Arthur's chest and came out of his back as black blood flew out of him, a distorted smile appeared on Arthur's face as he looked at the right side of his chest.

"How dare you do this, are you seeking death?" The Voice of the invader appeared again, but this time all the apparent happiness in it disappeared and turned into pain.

"One of the three of us will survive, and I don't mind taking you to the grave with me," Arthur raised his leg and kicked Odrick's body, which froze in place in a daze, causing him to rush back and take the sword out of his chest.

"You are really crazy," the strong, terror-filled voice of the invader began to decrease and become soft.

"You are the fool who kept directing Audrick to target my heart, the heart is everything isn't it, where is your strength now just because there is a small hole in your heart you have become weak" Arthur smiled and spoke in a voice full of pain.

"What if I removed your heart," Arthur's smile widened, he reached out and stuck his hand into the wound in his chest, a deep sense of pain, viscosity and unwillingness spread through Arthur's mind, but he forced himself to continue and grabbed the invader's heart, he could feel the gloomy heartbeat and the cold air blowing his eyes.

"You are really crazy," the strong, terror-filled voice of the invader began to decrease and become soft.

"And you call yourself the invader and the destroyer of Worlds," Arthur smiled sarcastically and tightened his hand around the invader's heart

"Please don't stop, how about we make a deal, I won't control your body, but I will live in it, but in return I will provide you with my knowledge and techniques and this will make you the strongest person in this world," Ghazi's voice changed to the voice of a small child and he began to beg full of sadness.

"Unmasked" without any hesitation Arthur pulled his hand out and pulled out with it a black heart from which several bloody veins stretched out.

"Is that you, Odrick, is his control over you gone?" Arthur raised his head and looked at the amphibian in front of him with blurry eyes, he could no longer see Odrick's features and all he saw was a blurry face.

"Sir, please forgive me, I didn't know what I was doing, please forgive me," Odrick began to cry miserably, looking at his leader, from whom signs of life began to disappear.

"Odrick, I'm not envious of you" Arthur's voice became very faint as his body swayed and began to fall, despite all the pain John did not allow himself to fall on his back and fell to his knees while his dead hands dangled next to him.
