1 The Boy Named Demon

"Honey come here! The baby kicked again!" said the female voice.

"Finally, I can feel my child's sudden kicks, I just know he will become a strong person" said the husband.

"Well, we haven't even thought of a name yet, what do you think?"

"How about Akuma. Yes! Akuma Kogarashi! What a fine name for a such an energetic boy."

The man stopped smiling.

He seems sad. It was as if something bad was about to happen from the look of his face. He said, "Look I have done something terrible and the marines are after me. So we need to get out of this island and run to someplace safe."

The mother's face was horrified by the sudden news.

Unexpectedly, there were many voices outside and banging noises on the door yelling for the husband to come out.

"There is no time! We must leave from the back door," whispered the wanted criminal.

The couple quickly left the house from the backdoor and followed a path to the woods where they might not get spotted by the marines.

"Ophelia we must move quicker, there is a ship docked and ready to go. I made sure it was hidden so no one would find it. We are going to use it for our escape."

But Ophelia had trouble running. After all, it wasn't long until she gives birth.

"Jack wait! I gotta rest for a little I'm sure the marines won't find us here for a while."

"What happened to your crew? Where are they?"

Jack let out a tear when he remembered his crew, slaughtered one by one with no mercy by the marines. Jack can still hear those voices calling out his name while being killed.

"Don't worry about them they're fine."

They were startled by the voices that was emanating from where they came from.

"They must have followed our footprints!" Having just noticed that there were mud everywhere from the rain."

"Ophelia go without me, they are close, and I will give you enough time for you to get out! Don't worry about me I will be fine."

"But-"

Jack quickly got close to her stomach, "My boy, I know you will be fine even without me. I have faith that you will become a great, no, a legendary person. But make sure you make lots of friends."

She ran to where the ship was, giving one last look, but only to see a silhouette of a man and the many screams of marines perishing.

𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿...

In a remote island lies a village of many poor farmers and merchants. Even with the poverty, however, the residents seem content of their life in the village. Though time to time, there are those that come ever so often and take things from the people because they believe they control and own it.

They call themselves the Konna Bandits.

The children of the village come out to play once in a while when it is safe. One of them being Akuma the hero of the village. At least, that's what he calls himself and so did the children when whenever they start fantasizing in their role plays.

You could say that Akuma was quite famous, he was very known throughout the village. He comes outside with a bright smile everyday ready to do whatever he does best. Fool around and having fun.

Akuma while being beloved by the children, was also despised by the adults of the village. As his name suggests, which means "devil," was believed to be the bringer of death or the devil himself. But that didn't stop Akuma from playing with their kids which usually are told to stay away from Akuma.

Though he does wonder time to time, why is he's called that.

In the evening, he is to go back home to his mother where she gives him potato stew.

"But, I always have potato stew. Cant we have something else?!"

"Why do you say that, its delicious! It keeps you hydrated and is healthy. Now stop complaining and finish your food," said Ophelia with a smirk face.

𝑵𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈

Akuma is a strong boy, he has managed his daily workout for years now and has been so ever since. He likes to run around the village saying good morning to everyone. At first the people thought of him as a strange boy, but soon got attached to him and was always ready for the call.

Whenever he is in the village he is surrounded by families. He hadn't really given much thought about his father, but seeing many children with their fathers made him wonder.

He went home to ask about where his father might be.

"Hey mom, I want to ask you something if its alright with you."

"Sure what is it, is everything okay?"

He hesitated for a moment,

"Where is my dad?"
