312 312- Shogun

In the Shogun's palace in one of the rooms.

Square-shaped room with yellow walls and carpeted floors, some painting and scrolls mounted on the walls.

Ethan and the girls sit on a tatami while the shogun sits upon a large, fluffy pillow.

At this time Emily woke up from her little nap and when she saw the paintings on the wall her eyes became sparkling. "Daddy, can I have these paintings?"

"Sorry, little girl, but these paintings are not for sale." Sukiyaki smiled, "But if you become one of the Kozuki, they will become yours."

Ethan's eyelids twitched upon hearing this. If he didn't know Sukiyaki was joking, he would have beaten him until his face swelled up for saying this in front of a little girl who looked about two years old. Even if his daughter was an adult, he would definitely not hand his daughter over to that fool Oden.

"I don't want to. I will stay with Daddy forever." Emily looked at the Sukiyaki in annoyance.

Then Emily walked up to Ethan and hugged him.

Ethan hugged her as well as a small tear appeared in the corner of his eye, 'This is my daughter. I'm so proud.'

"What a cute girl who loves her father, I wish my son could learn a little from her." Sukiyaki smiled while remembering his annoying son who never listens to him.

Sukiyaki begins to feel envious of Ethan, 'I wish he had a daughter too.'

Sukiyaki looked away from the cute little girl and looked at Toki. "Amatsuki-san, as the Shogun of Wano, I welcome you to Wano, and you can consider Wano your home from now on."

"Thank you, Shogun-sama. I already consider Wano my home." Toki smiled and spoke politely.

An old man standing next to the shogun spoke happily, "I am really glad that one of the Amatsuki clan's bloodlines is still alive."

"What do you mean?" Toki inquired.

Sukiyaki sighed because he didn't want to shock her with this news so suddenly, but now he had to explain it.

"In Wano, the Amatsuki Family were powerful supporters of my family, the Kozuki Family, earning the family heads to be honored with the title of daimyo. But at a certain point, the daimyo of the Kurozumi Family tried to seize the shogunate and assassinated the leader of the Amatsuki Family as part of his scheme. "

"During that time, all members of the Amatsuki family were killed as well."

After he finished explaining, a slight expression of sadness appeared on Toki's face.

She was actually expecting the Amatsuki family to disappear after 800 years, but when she heard that her family name was still known, she became happy and had the desire to meet the Amatsuki family in this era.

So she would surely feel sad when the shogun told her that the Amatsuki family had been wiped out.

Sukiyaki looked at Ethan and said, "Thank you for bringing Amatsuki-san to Wano safely. If there is anything you need then please ask."

Ethan didn't need anything but didn't want to refuse Sukiyaki so after some thought he asked, "Who is the most famous and best swordsmith in Wano?"

"There are many of them in Wano but the most popular ones are me, Shimotsuki Kozaburo and Shinomiya but Shimotsuki Kozaburo left Wano half a year ago."

"If you need a sword, I will do my best to make one for you." Sukiyaki is highly skilled and confident in making good weapons.

"No, I don't need a weapon. I just want to watch them make swords." Ethan thought of learning the best skills of making a sword and improving it, and then presenting it as a gift to Kuina when he sees her in the future.

"Just watching? What's the use of watching? I can teach you if you're curious." Sukiyaki didn't know that Ethan needed only to look and he would know all the advantages and disadvantages of how the sword was made.

In other words, Ethan can learn and improve any technique or skill just by watching.

"There is no need for that. Watching is enough."

...

The shogun gave some locations to good swordsmiths for Ethan and then told Hyogoro to take Ethan to the nearest one, so Ethan and the girls left the shogun's palace.

The young Hyogoro led the way silently and didn't say a word as if he didn't want to have anything to do with Ethan and the girls.

Ethan also did not try to talk to him.

As they walk the streets Emily points out a crowd of people gathered in one place watching something, "Daddy, what are they doing?"

"I don't know, Do you want to watch?" Ethan shrugged.

"Yes yes let's go watch!" Although she did not know why the people had gathered, she was jumping in excitement.

As they approached, they noticed that people were gathering around a battle arena, and in the center a muscular, bare-chested man encouraged people to climb into the arena, "Is there another challenger? If you can finish the challenge, you will square a piece of farmland and a warm house in the middle of the flower capital."

"All you have to do to win the challenge is to hurt my body, even if it's just a small scratch, I will consider it your victory."

Although winning the challenge seemed very easy, none of the viewers entered the battle arena.

"Don't be fooled, this man's body is very tough and can't be cut easily." For the first time Hyogoro spoke to Ethan.

As proof of Hyogoro's words, a samurai climbed into the battle arena and tried to cut the muscular man, but to no avail.

The man's body is similar to steel, and whenever the samurai cut, he felt that his hand was being torn apart, and after more than one attempt, his hand began to bleed, so he decided to stop and retreat.

"Wow, does that mean even dad can't cut it?" When she saw the strength of the man Emily's eyes began to sparkle.

Upon hearing his daughter question his strength, Ethan felt frustrated and had to prove his strength to his daughter and cement the fact that he was invincible in her mind. So he picked up a small twig lying on the ground and said to his daughter, "Daddy can cut that guy down with just this."

"Really?! Daddy's so cool!" Emily exclaimed excitedly.

Emma looked at her daughter suspiciously, 'Did she do this on purpose to get her father to participate in the challenge?'

Hyogoro looked at Ethan like he was looking at an idiot but didn't try to stop Ethan, 'This would be a good lesson for this man not to brag in front his daughter again.'

Ethan climbed into the battle arena with a small twig in his hand, causing people to laugh at him even before the challenge began.

The muscular man scratched his head in confusion. "Are you really going to use this to try to hurt me?"

Ethan didn't give any explanations and simply asked, "Shall we start?"

"You can start anytime you want."

Once the man had given the nod, Ethan swung the twig in his hand toward the man's chest.

All the people watching opened their eyes wide at the shocking scene that happened in front of them.

The steel-like man's chest was slashed by a small tree twig and blood gushed out everywhere.

With this, Ethan gets a house and farmland in Wano.

"Dad, you are so wonderful." Emily ran to Ethan and hugged and she was so happy.

Emily then looked at Hyogoro with disdain while thinking, 'Did you see that, you idiot. This is Daddy's true strength. You'd better not underestimate Daddy's.'

Earlier, Emily felt annoyed when Hyogoro spoke as if her father was a weak person. So, she thought of a way to get her father to participate in the challenge, and she succeeded.
