237 237- Fireworks

After a day.

Ethan and his crew land on an island.

While walking around the island they heard that this island had a festival a few days ago which made Sora very curious about it.

"Sora, although the festival is over, we can replay the most important part of the festival." Ethan patted his daughter's head and then held her in his arms.

Sora tilted her head curiously while asking Ethan what he meant.

"The most important part of the festival is shooting fireworks into the sky." Ethan raised a finger to the sky, "And the best time for that is night."

"fireworks?" Sora didn't even know what this was so she showed a cute confused face.

Ethan thought of a way to explain to her what fireworks are and the best way would be to remind her of something she had seen before that was similar to fireworks. "Do you remember when we used the laser cannon before and how there was a kind of nice explosion, it's similar but more beautiful."

After that, Ethan searched for a fireworks store, and if he did not find what he wanted, he could buy fireworks from the system.

The other do their own business and enjoy the town after many days on sea.

After asking the civilians, Ethan knew that there was an old man making fireworks, so he went there with his daughter to ask that old man to make fireworks for his daughter.

Ethan and Sora meet the fireworks maker and his granddaughter.

The old man accepted Ethan's request to make fireworks and began preparing to make them with his granddaughter.

Sora was curious so she wanted to stay and watch how the fireworks were being made.

Sora started asking the old man and his granddaughter about every step they took to make the fireworks which made the old man very annoyed but even before he started yelling at Sora one look from Ethan made his back filled with sweat.

He doesn't know who Ethan is, but he's sure that if he yells at this girl, nothing good will happen to him.

"Calm down, old man. My daughter is just curious." Ethan patted the old man on the shoulder and then looked at his daughter and the old man's granddaughter, "Why don't you let your granddaughter play with my daughter? That way my daughter will be busy playing and won't bother you."

Sora has never seen young children close to her age before, so Ethan wants her to try playing with this child.

The old man agreed and made his granddaughter stop working and go play with Sora.

"What is your name, my name is Kodama." The granddaughter introduced herself to Sora.

"Sora's name is Sora!" Sora grabbed the girl's hands and looked at her with sparkling eyes, "Can you tell Sora about the fireworks?"

The girl was happy to talk about fireworks and how they are made so she started talking excitedly about it with Sora.

After talking and playing with Sora for an hour, Kodama looked at the old man and when she saw that he was busy she motioned to Sora to look at a giant ball, "Sora, look over there. This is the largest fireworks ball in the world, about two and a half meters long."

"My dream is to complete it and use it to impress all the islanders." The little girl said proudly, "My skills are as good as the old man's but when I tried to complete before the festival he caught up and stopped me from doing it."

"Why?" Sora didn't understand why but when she asked this question she felt Kodama became very sad.

Sora patting Kodama's head made the little girl feel puzzled, "Sora, what are you doing?"

"Kodama is feeling sad so Sora pats her head in order to feel better." Sora showed a very bright smile which made Kodama smile slightly although her sadness didn't go away but she really feels better now.

Seeing Kodama feeling better, Sora suggested something that made the girl sweat because someone behind Sora heard the suggestion. "What does Kodama think of complementing this firework with Sora now?"

"It's too dangerous, you are not allowed to go near the 'ball 205'. Go play outside." The old man looked at Sora and his granddaughter seriously but did not shout which made his granddaughter feel surprised. 'Why does this old man seem calmer than usual.'

The little girl listened to the old man and took Sora to play outside.

Seeing the two little girls coming out, Ethan spoke to the old man while pointing at the giant fireworks, "Old man, I want to buy this you call the 'ball 205'."

"This is very dangerous." The old man showed a serious expression and then talked about how his son and daughter-in-law died because of this kind of fireworks.

"Don't worry about it I have a way to use it without incident." Having said this, Ethan began to give the old man some advice on making fireworks.

Thanks to the teacher skill, Ethan was able to see the flaws in the old man's skill and then correct them for him even though Ethan himself had no in-depth knowledge of fireworks.

At first the old man was upset that Ethan was trying to interfere with his business, but after listening to Ethan he was really surprised and the more he listened, the more surprised he was.

....

After playing and talking with Sora for two hours, the two decided to go back inside, but as soon as they entered Kodama was surprised to see the old man trying to complete the ball 205.

"Brat, come and help me. We'll finish it faster if you join." The old man smiled while asking his granddaughter for help which made her eyes shine with happiness.

She doesn't know how her grandfather's opinion changed, but she is happy with that, and she started to help him directly, and when darkness fell, the two made a large number of fireworks, and the 'ball 205' was completed, and they made another giant ball, 'Ball 206'.

Although the festival has already ended a few days ago, the old man and his granddaughter are excited about the use of fireworks.

Using his map, Ethan locates his crew and then orders them to gather, which makes the girls feel surprised because this is the first time Ethan has communicated with them from afar in this way.

After everyone gathered, Ethan started setting off fireworks. The fireworks look really pretty and there are so many of them.

After sometime the fireworks end , but then the old man throw some fire spark inside the big tower. Then the big size firework launched very high in the sky and,

* BBBOOOOMMMM *

* KACHAKACHAKACHA *

The big size firework explode and covering the sky with a very big spark for sometime.

Sora, Kodama, and Lucy cheered while their eyes shone with fireworks, everyone was having a good time.

The islanders were amazed when they saw this because these fireworks are much nicer than the ones they used in the festival.

After the fireworks ended, Sora started playing with Kodama for hours until the two of them fell asleep from exhaustion because the two knew they wouldn't see each other for long or maybe they wouldn't meet again because Sora would continue her journey with her father.

The next day, Sora said goodbye to Kodama while feeling a little sad but Kodama smiled and told her that she should visit her in the future with her parents if they had time.

After that, Ethan and the girls continued their journey.
