146- *we're on the wrong track*

It had been a few days since Ethan and the crew had left the Twin Capes and began their journey to the first island on the Grand Line. They were currently sailing through calm waters while snowflakes rain from above.

Ethan finished his training while standing by the aquarium talking to Laboon, while Zora trained with Kuina and Clara in the use of the sword, and Nojiko was practicing shooting.

Alvida and Desire train with each other but neither of them can harm the other, because the attacks slip off Alvida's body and Alvida can't beat Desire because of the barriers she creates.

Makino is training to make better use of her fruit.

Kaya is trying to develop her use of her fruit and also trying to learn Observation Haki with the help of Sanju.

Ann practicing magic with her bird (balloon).

While Carmen trains her body because she is the weakest physically among all the crew members.

Hailey is training with a spear outside and not a training room, because of her body heat from training, the area around her has no snow.

Nami in the navigation room is mapping.

Lucy breastfeeds Sora after she finishes training with Ethan.

Freya is sitting watching Mr.9 and Vivi shovel snow off the ship.

Ethan made the two of them work, they were both lazy at first and wanted a free and effortless ride to their destination but what a crap there is nothing free in this world.

They are not guests but prisoners. Despite this, Ethan is still kinder to Vivi.

Ethan went to the kitchen and made two cups of coffee, then walked out of the kitchen and walked over to Vivi and Mr 9.

"Miss Wednesday, this is for you." Ethan gave her a cup of coffee and smiled, "Work hard. Soon we'll get to Whiskey Peak and you won't have to work."

"Ethan, thank you." Vivi smiled then started drinking coffee and her body started getting some warmth and relief.

Mr 9 smiled at Ethan when he saw him approaching him also while holding a cup of coffee. Mr 9 wanted to thank Ethan but Ethan skipped him and went back to standing next to Laboon while he drank the coffee.

'That bastard I'm going to kill him.' Mr 9's face turned red from embarrassment. It was already red because of the cold but it got redder.

"It's been days but we haven't gotten to Whiskey Peak." Ethan sighed. This is the longest voyage he's ever been at sea, and the changing climate is very unpleasant.

Upon hearing Laboon's suspicions, Ethan immediately denied them. "No way, Nami is a skilled navigator. It's not possible for Nami to make such a big mistake."

*Believe me, animals have stronger senses than humans and we can navigate the Grand Line without using log pose. we're on the wrong track.*

"I'll go check it out." Ethan didn't go to see Nami but went to the captain's cabin and took the log pose out of the desk drawer, and checked it out.

Ethan's expression turned gloomy as he exited the captain's cabin, and Freya noticed this. Freya approached him and asked, "Ethan, is there something wrong?"

"Apparently our navigator is useless at the moment because she lacks experience." he said before walking to the head of the upper deck and yelled out to the crew.

Freya immediately understood what Ethan meant and did not say anything.

"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!" he yelled getting everyone's attention.

"STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND TURN THIS SHIP AROUND!" he yelled out confusing all of them.

Nami heard what he said and came out of the navigation room to see why they needed to turn around.

Not only her, but all the girls stopped their training and walked out of the training room to find out why Ethan asked for this.

"Ethan." Nami said getting his attention.

"Why do we need to turn around?" she asked.

Ethan looked at her with an emotionless look on his face before he replied.

"Well Nami, if you were doing your job you would have noticed we are going in the opposite direction." Ethan said calmly causing all of their eyes to widen.

"Now if all of you are done being surprised I would highly suggest all of you...TURN THIS SHIP AROUND!" Ethan yelled.

"I'm sorry I should have looked at the log pose more, I didn't know the ship would change direction like that, and I didn't even feel it." Nami meekly apologized.

Ethan sighed and hugged her, "It's okay you're still a novice at Grand Line sailing, but I hope you don't make the same mistake again."

"Now go back to work and guide the girls to turn the ship around."

Nami: "Why don't you make Freya do it, it's so much easier."

"I don't want us to depend on Freya for everything, and also if we don't do anything while sailing and watch Freya do everything then I will feel like a tourist."

After that, Nami starts giving orders to the crew and makes them work.

Nojiko and Kuina were manning the rudder. Clara, Hailey, Alvida, Sanju, Ann and Desire were tieing up the sails.

Lucy takes care of Sora, so she is not involved in the work.

Makino, Kaya, Carmen, and Zora were standing next to Ethan, and when one of the girls felt tired, these five would start helping while the tired girls rested.

Or that's supposed to happen but when Zora was waiting for her turn she fell asleep.

After about hour of chaos, everything finally was quiet and the ship was sailing in the right direction.

It was at that point Zora decided to wake up. She got up and stretched while yawning before walking over towards Ethan and spoke.

"Hey Ethan," she said getting Ethan's attention.

"I found out who these two are." she said causing Ethan to raise his eyebrow.

"I also found out who they are, they are both members of Baroque Work." Ethan chuckled.

"It's a bounty hunters organization, the island we're going to must be full of bounty hunters." Zora looked sharply at Vivi and Mr 9, who had stopped working and were taking a break.

Ethan: "If you're suggesting not to go, that's impossible. Our Log pose has set Whiskey Peak as our destination and that can't be changed."

Zora: "What I meant was that we should be more careful and tell the rest of the girls so that they don't fall into the traps they will set for us on the next island."

Ethan: "No, we won't tell the girls. Let them figure out the danger on their own without help, and if something goes wrong we can save them."

At this moment Sanju approached them with an angry face,"mosshead, How dare you sleep while we work?"

Zora: "I was so tired from the training I was doing so I fell asleep. It's your fault that you didn't wake me up."

"We were all training too." Sparks started to appear as the two stared at each other.

'I have to finish this, before there is a fight between them.' Ethan frowned, then grabbed the two girls' wrists and pulled them into the captain's cabin.

After a few hours the three walked out of the captain's cabin, but the two were still looking at each other so sharply that Ethan thought, 'The plan fails, sharing a bed with me won't improve their relationship.'

"Island up ahead!" Freya yelled from the front of the ship getting everyone's attention. Everyone looked up ahead of them and saw an island showing through some mist.
