140 140- Reverse Mountain
After defeating Onigumo, Ethan and the girls return to the Black Pearl Freya.
Ethan gave the katana to Kuina and said apologetically, "I didn't mean to break your gift."
Kuina took the katana from Ethan's hand and pulled them out of their sheath and saw the blade filled with cracks as if it was going to shatter from a single touch. "It's not your fault, since they broke, they weren't good enough."
Zora seriously looked at Ethan as she noticed that the skill he used was very powerful. "No, these swords were good but the technique that Ethan used was very strange, although the technique is powerful it wasn't supposed to cause the katana to crack like that."
These two katanas were close to a Skillful Grade, and it was almost impossible for them to crack like this. Also, except for the two katanas being good, they were also covered in Ethan's Armament Haki.
Armament Haki was supposed to protect the katana from damage.
"This is because I use death energy. I can control various types of energy because of my Devil Fruit. I can control the elements, chaos, time, space, life and death…etc." All the girls looked at Ethan in shock, earlier they thought he could only control the elements but it seemed that he could control all kinds of energy.
Then he closed his eyes to try to focus on something and a black aura began to flow from his hand. This aura gave an ominous feeling.
"Looks like you've started to control the death energy." Freya passed through the wall and entered the captain's cabin.
Ethan opened his eyes and smiled. "This is the death energy and it has many uses and one of them is to strengthen the attacks and I used it with the katana to kill Onigumo, but the death energy destroyed the katana."
'I wonder if I can make zombies and skeletons with death energy.' Ethan put his hand on his chin while thinking.
"I haven't seen you use it before, why didn't you use it in your fight with Mihawk." Sanju watched his fight with Mihawk but she didn't see him using death energy.
"I could have used it after fighting Mihawk but I didn't use it and I used it on Onigumo because I was angry because he almost killed me." Before fighting Mihawk, his control of the death energy was very weak, but his control of it became stronger after he reached the edge of death while fighting Mihawk.
Also, his control of death energy became better after he approached death because of Onigumo, which means that the closer he came to the state of death, the more he gained control of death energy.
"This is my first time using it and that sword technique was very powerful." Ethan chuckled, feeling that with death energy he could do anything and could kill anyone.
'I wonder if I could control Chaos Energy how much power would I be.' Although Ethan can control all the elements, controlling the rest of the energies is much more difficult.

It had been an hour since the fight ended and they were currently sailing towards Grand Line.
"Ethan there is something strange." Nami approaches Ethan while holding a map in her hand.
"Tell me, what is the strange thing?" Ethan raised an eyebrow and looked at her.
"I was looking at this map of the Grand Line that I stole from Buggy and it says here the entrance of the Grand Line is a mountain," she said causing everyone's eyes to widen except Ethan.
"A mountain?" Zora asked while looking at Nami.
"So how do we enter the Grand Line then?" asked Zora.
"We sail up the mountain," he said surprising everyone.
"Ships can't sail up a mountain!" Nojiko said causing everyone to nod their heads in agreement to what she said.
"Hand me that map Nami," Ethan said as he stretched out his hand. When he got the map from Nami he sat it down on the floor in front of them and began explaining how it works.
"You see this mountain right here?" he asked while pointing to the mountain in the center of the map. All of them nodded their heads and paid close attention to what he was saying.
"That mountain is a part of the Red Line and is called Reverse Mountain. Currents from all four of the seas run up the mountain and into the Grand Line," he said while tracing his finger on the small blue line that represents the currents that go up the mountain. Everyone's eyes widened when they heard that information.
"But that is impossible, currents cannot flow up a mountain." Nojiko said while having a disbelieving look on her face.
"In the normal world it doesn't, but this is the Grand Line." Ethan said as he rolled up the map and looked all of them in the eye before he continued.
"If you go into that sea and try using logic to explain everything that happens there you will go mad." he said before handing the map back to Nami.
"There is nothing sane about that sea. One minute it is raining, and one second later it starts snowing, and two seconds after that it is raining hail the size of a galleon," he said causing their eyes to widen.
"You-you are kidding right?" Kaya asked.
"Nope...well the hail thing in the New World, but it could happen in Paradise." he said getting them to relax a bit.
"Our crew is also abnormal so I am shocked because you are shocked every time you see something unusual, I can turn into a dragon and also Lucy's body is made of rubber, Kaya uses illusions, Ann uses magic and Makino's body is made of alcohol. We have swordsmen who can cut steel, and we have seen a man who can cut a ship with one wave of his sword, this world is unnatural from the start." All the girls looked at each other and then started laughing, surely this crew is not a normal thing at all even their ship.
"By the way, Nami," Ethan said getting her attention.
Ethan took a small box out of his coat and gave it to her. "Within it is a log pose, I bought it in loguetown."
"log pose? What is this thing?" Nami opened the box and saw something similar to a compass but spherical in shape.
"It's how you navigate the Grand Line, regular compasses don't work there." he said surprising them.
"Do not lose it or else we will all die." he said causing her to nod her head furiously.
Although this information is correct, it does not apply to Ethan and this crew because he can control space.
After sailing for about ten more minutes the ship finally exited the thundercloud infested skies and into clear blue one. The water was calm but Ethan could feel the ship picking up speed. He stood up and walked over to the side of the ship and looked down at the water and saw the water currents moving rapidly with the ship.
'Freya you control the ship, you already know what to do. I don't want the ship to crash into the mountain.'

'Listen to Nami, I told her about these currents, so she is the best at guiding you.'
"Freya, Raise the sails, the current is going to be enough to take us in." Nami said causing Freya to nod and then tie up the sails. She did it just by thinking she didn't even move her body.
Then Nami looked at the map again and began to instruct Freya to direct the ship.
"Ethan! Up ahead!" Nami yelled getting Ethan's attention. He looked forward and saw a giant wall that stretched high above the clouds.
"That's the Red-Line!" Ethan shrieked with excitement, he never imagined that he would one day see this scene with his own eyes instead of watching it from a TV or computer screen.
"Keep it steady, the entrance is just ahead!" Nami starts giving orders to Freya again.
All the girls stood beside Ethan and watched as they approached the giant mountain.
"Ethan I don't see the entrance! All I see is a giant wall in our way!" Nami yelled.
"See that tiny crack in the mountain?" Ethan asked while pointing at the tiny crack in the mountain.
"Yeah, I see it," she said.
Ethan tossed her a pair of binoculars before he spoke."That's the entrance."
She looked through the binoculars before she spoke in a disbelieving tone.
"I cannot believe it, the current is really flowing up the mountain." she said before passing the binoculars to Ann.
As they got closer everyone could see the entrance clear. They all saw the water running up the mountain and just at the entrance there were arches going over the canals.
The currents began to push the ship into the canal and they began climbing the reverse mountain.
"WE MADE IT!" Hailey, Ann, and Nojiko yelled as they started dancing.
"It now a straight shot from here to the summit." They all had a wide smile on their face as the ship climbed higher and higher.
"We're in the clouds!" Clara said in amazement.
"No, we are above the clouds!" Desire said as the ship climbed higher above the clouds.
"I can see the summit!" Lucy said while pointing forward. In front of them, they all saw where the currents from all four seas meet and run into the Grand Line.
The Black Pearl Freya rode the wave perfectly and entered the canal leading into the Grand Line.
"The Grand Line." Ethan said as he looked out with a smile on his face.
As the ship began to descend the mountain the closer they got to the bottom the more puzzled everyone was becoming.
"Ethan is there supposed to be another mountain at the bottom?" Nami asked in a confused voice.
"No, why?" he asked.
She pointed in front of the ship causing Ethan to turn and look at where she is pointing. At the base of the mountain where the canal ran into the Grand Line, Ethan saw something rather large blocking the exit.
"This is not a mountain but a giant whale."
