My name is Aymen, just a regular college student in India with no motivation in life whatsoever.I like to think I'm much smarter than the regular guy since I managed to get into one of the best colleges in the country and stay on top without much effort on my part.

I just spend my time watching movies, animes, series, playing games, reading webnovels. All the free time during quarentine has made me think about this world, how you know most of everything to know about this world, how you know most of the career options available to you, none of which seems appealing, how it all gets boring and monotonous after a while.

This in turn has made me immerse myself in fantasy worlds imagining myself in those works that seems much more interesting, with much more surprises and adventure. Updating all the latest episodes of my childhood animes like one piece, dragon Ball, Naruto, etc, updating my knowledge on it's trivia, etc has been my escape for the last few months.

The past months alone in my home has been me just sinking deeper and deeper into a wishful self inserts in my mind imagining myself in each World and what I would do in such a world so much that I'm a bit afraid I would completely loose touch with reality and become a shut-in otaku as they call in Japan.

It was on that fateful day, it was a huge storm outside and I was on my computer just staring at my screen and clicking random things not really doing anything. My grandma whose the only one home has been screaming at me to turn it off for a while due to the storm.

I was just staring at the screen thinking about which fantasy world seems the most interesting, it was internal debate between dragon Ball and one piece in mind as final candidates. Dragon Ball seemed to be the biggest with almost infinite potential due to the vastness of the universe and even other universe, but one piece seemed to be the most well though out World with very fantastical creatures and Islands completely out of the realm of common sense.

It also has one of the most simplistic yet very effective power system I have seen in fiction, haki. Compared to the more brute force nature of the dragon Ball ki system, haki seemed to be geared to combat in a way that most other powers can't compare. I finally decided the winner of my most interesting world competition, One piece. I just stared at the screen now that my internal competition has ended. Having nothing to do I just opened notepad and typed 'I want to be reborn in the One Piece world' very slowly.

I just stared at the words for a while and suddenly remembered there was storm outside, I remembered one of the classic cliches of being struck by lightning and being sucked into the computer. I was thinking in jest of what are the chances that I suddenly get struck by lightning and get transported into the one piece world? the only being that can have such power would be some omnipotent Omniverse-level God and I wasn't really a believer in God anyway and soon dropped that line on thought and was about to close the notepad and shut down the PC when I sudden heard a very loud crack and sounds of something breaking.

"Wha...!"

I was barely able to open my mouth to scream when I felt a slight heat on my right cheek on the side where my CPU was. The last thing I saw was the sparks coming out of my open CPU which then suddenly exploded.

The world just suddenly became black and full of pain from sharpnel invading my squishy face.I remeber thinking my last thought.

"What are the chances!?"
