"Hehe…" Looking at Edam in front, Goku's smile widened. "Let's start, but since I'm kinda hungry, let's just go easy alright?'
Saying this, he took on a peculiar martial stance. Edam could see the experience behind this guy, his stance was flawless, clearly giving an idea of Goku's cheerful love for fighting.
His joyful expectation even managed to give Edam a faint smile. "Alright, fine by me…"
"However, I'll warn you that I'm quite the copycat… Don't blame me if I steal your moves…" Edam smiled at him as he placed his hands and feet in a particular but familiar stance for Goku who laughed at that since it was his own exact stance!
"Heh..." But this made Goku smile even more. "No problem at all, let's go!"
Swish! His body burst out with his ki and like a bullet, he dashed forward while releasing a battle cry.
Swoosh! And opposite to him, Edam slightly grits his teeth and also explodes forward with his eyes flickering with its usual pale golden color.
BOOM! Both their fists met and a shockwave blew away the sea of cotton-like clouds around.
"...?!" However, an incredulous look appeared in the depth of Goku's eyes.
And once again, just like how Vegeta has experienced it before, the violent image of a humongous and pure black Great Ape brutally shook his soul.

Their fists which were engaged in a fierce contest of strength finally knew a change, as Edam's punch pushed back Goku's fist by a few inches while another shockwave resounded once more and blew them backward.
"...?" Stabilizing himself quickly, Goku then looked at his hand in wonder and puzzlement.
"...? What's up?" Noticing his puzzled expression, Edam, who was gonna rush again, stopped and asked curiously.

Meanwhile, Beerus who was on the ground narrowed his eyes before glancing at Yamote.
"It happened again… this kid is not that strong nor is he experienced but he pushed Goku back…? What's happening?"
"..." Whis was also looking up. "Well, no, his talent and his strength are without the shade of a doubt real, he is growing stronger with each passing second, but the point is that a Saiyan is supposed to grow stronger and stronger by flirting with death and unlike Goku, this little one clearly didn't come close to it that much and yet, he is slowly overpowering Goku in his base form... this is truly unusual…"
Whis's eyes seemed to shine oddly. "Instead of being stronger, it's as if Goku's strikes were growing a tad weaker every time they meet Edam's own…"
He paused in the middle of his sentence and shot a glance at Yamote. "And so, if I'm not wrong it should be..."
"Aiya, you angels are truly impressive…" Yamote said while also looking up with his wings crossed in front of his chest. "Indeed, it's a bloodline suppression…"
"...What bullshit is that?" Beerus only looked in contempt. "In my long life, I've never heard of that…"
"You were sleeping every now and then…" Yamote quickly rebuked him with as much contempt as him.
In response, a vein popped up on Beerus's forehead.
"Anyway, believe it or not, but it is what it is… my little lord's Saiyan bloodline is ancient and supreme enough to suppress to a certain extent other Saiyan's power…"

"Well… it's kinda strange…" Goku said with a very curious and intrigued expression. "Anyway, let's go again!"
With that said, Goku sped up and unleashed a large number of yellow ki balls that rapidly reached Edam.
But the latter, always on guard, snorted and deviated every single ball of ki away with his punches and kicks which amounted to a dozen strikes per second or so.
But, just as he finished with the last ki ball, his bestial senses detected something as he then noticed Goku a meter away ready to strike.
?! His eyes flickered a sharp light as he abruptly saw some foreign images appearing in his head. It was actually some images of Goku who was violently punching him in the face.
'Haki?' Edam clearly felt the difference between his bestial senses and his Busoshoku Haki. While the other was purely instinctive and primal, the latter was completely the opposite, being an intended prediction from his mind, spirit, and soul.
'The future?' He had heard that some people could see a bit ahead in the future, but he wouldn't have thought he would actually reach this level since, in his opinion, he kinda neglected to train his Haki due to his Ki being overly enough for fighting.
"Hah! Take this!" Goku's punch tore apart the air to fiercely strike Edam's face.
But, Edam already knew where it was gonna land as he perfectly dodged his strike with a faint movement of his head and rushed forward to land a punch too.
"What!?" Goku was greatly taken aback by this, while Edam took this opportunity to give him a fierce and perfect counter!
Bang! And so, Edam's punch landed but Goku's punch hit the air, missing its target by only a very small inch.
"Ghh!" Despite his power, Goku truly felt this one there.
Bam! A violent punch in Goku's liver was followed by a kick that sent him a few meters away.
"Ouch, ouch..." Goku rubbed his abdomen and jaw in pain and said with a smile. "Ouch, that was one hell of a counter… Well done…"
"Thanks!" Edam shouted as he tightened his fists as they glowed with energy and he burst forward!
In response, Goku grinned and transformed into his Super Saiyan form and said. "Let's see how you deal with this…"
As he said that he brought both his hands at his waist height and began to shout.
"Ka…! Me…! Ha…! Me…!"
"...?!" Edam was taken aback by this as he saw a vast amount of ki rapidly gather in Goku's palms.
Goku smiled as he suddenly swung his hands forward and yelled. "Haaaaaah…!" A blue ray of light shot out toward Edam furiously.
"Damn you! How is this going easy!?"
With a few seconds to react to it, Edam hurriedly decided. 'F*ck it!'
He tightened his fist and brought it similarly to Goku at his waist height as a large amount of Ki furiously swirled in like a maelstrom. After gathering enough ki his fist was glowing red like melting steel.
After enough was gathered Edam violently punched forward as a massive ray of red energy shot out. As for the name…
Well, it had no name since he actually just punched it without thinking. Actually, it did have a name, but shouting 'Loving Fist!' At the top of one's lungs was kinda awkward...
At most he would call it Deadly Fist or something...
Anyway, blue and red intertwined and…

*At least one hour later*

Their fight went on as they forgot everything else.
Meanwhile, Edam could now tell the difference between Vegeta and Goku…
The latter is more rigid but his strikes are heavier while Goku's movements are purely instinctive with no hesitation.
Two different fighting styles that Edam particularly affectionate.
Heaviness in lightness, lightness in heaviness…!
Having fought both of them, he made sure to engrave their fighting styles in his mind and body.

"Grr, they have been battling for one freaking hour!" On the ground, Beerus snorted in annoyance. "Are they gonna stop one day?! And what about this dinner?!"
"My, my… you should stop complaining my lord, you are wasting your energy and so will get hungry…" Whis who was peering into his scepter said as he shot a glance at Beerus.
"Humph!" Beerus gave a humph and closed his eyes.

*Meanwhile high up in the sky…*

Edam and Goku could be seen standing a hundred meters away from one another.
"Haha, awesome!" Goku, who was currently facing Edam while transformed into his Super Saiyan form, laughed.
"Pff, you completely copied my fighting style and added your moves in…" Goku said and added while looking in Edam's right hand in which he held a fierce-looking spear of energy in his hand. "And your ki manipulation is quite advanced too..."
In response, Edam's mouth couldn't help but twitch as he laughed softly and rubbed the back of his head. "Ah sorry, is that considered cowardly to create and use weapons?"
As he said that, his weapon that he just materialized disappeared in thin air...
It was a serious question for him that he did want to know the answer to. He hadn't been here for long nor had he fought many ki users too and so didn't know the martial norm here.
"Huh?" A curious expression was present in Goku before he laughed it off and said. "Do whatever you want with it, it's your ki… I'm not using it that way cause I like to fight with my fists!"
"And also…" Goku pondered and added. "You're not using the full power of your strange state, right? Why?" Throughout the little sparring they had, he noticed that Edam wasn't going all out, as if something was holding him back.
"What? But… you told me we would go easy no?"
"Oh, yeah, but I forgot that ages ago hahaha!" Goku laughed out loud.
"Yeah, I saw that…" Edam smiled as his face twitched. "And if you wanna know, I haven't used it for years now. And to enter it entirely I have to let my rage take over and that sucks… And it also hurts freaking bad…" It was the major drawback of this wrathful state.
The tremendous amount and constant eruption of energy were such that his veins constantly seemed to be on the verge of exploding, like some balloons ready to blow up at any time. Although the power received in exchange was monstrous.
As proof, the day Sabo was murdered, Edam had in his rage unconsciously used it and blew up the mountain. Even with his low level of power as a child, the power he had displayed completely altered the weather and engraved a perpetual halo in the sky.
"Well, I think you just need some training and you will control it perfectly fine…"
They both descended where Beerus and Whis were and they sat down.
And the moment they sat down, Goku exclaimed. "Ahhh, I'm so hungry…!" He then laid down on the grass.
"You shouldn't have fought so much if you're hungry…" Whis said in a sarcastic tone.
"But, it's not every day that I get to fight someone of his caliber…" Goku replied, satisfied with his spar.
"Hmm…" Edam, who was sitting beside Goku, then asked out of nowhere. "So, umm, I heard that Saiyans were a brutal and savage race that only know how to fight? You don't look evil though..."
"Well, yes, however, this is only for the Saiyans who used to live on planet Vegeta I think? I was raised here on earth so I don't really know…"
"Oh…"
"But if you wanna know, Vegeta is the Saiyan Prince, that's why he's always super proud, but don't mind it…"
"Alright…"
Whis who was looking into his scepter opened his mouth to speak. "Lord Beerus, I found something…"
"Finally… So where is it?"
"Our destination will be Universe 10…"
"Sigh… so far away, why does it have to be so far away…?" Beerus complained loudly.
"My my, should we go or…?"
"Of course we're going, I don't want people to say that I'm not fulfilling my duty!"
