As he continued rowing he noticed in the distance, a figure approaching at a great speed, "Zephyr-sensei you finally arrived!" exclaimed Kizaru with a smile, a rare thing to see since he didn't have the best relationship with Zephyr.

"Mm looks like that old man doesn't break his word" Zephyr said as he nodded his head, having some more respect for Yamamoto. As he landed on Kizaru's boat he noticed Kairōseki's chains on his feet, so he crouched down and with weapon haki in his hands, he snapped the chains freeing Kizaru.

"Thank you!" Kizaru thanked noticing his powers and stamina returning to his body, "Let's quickly go back and report this" Zephyr said in a monotone as he headed back towards Marineford. Kizaru quickly followed him without losing in speed.

After a while, using the Geppo at maximum speed, they could see the Marine Headquarters in the distance, the marines outside noticed the two figures in the sky approaching at high speed, "Finally Admiral Zephyr and the others came back" said a marine.

"Hey why are there only two figures?" asked a marine noticing that one of the marines they sent was missing, "Don't tell me that..." said another marine with a bad feeling.

All the marines and recruits that were nearby noticed Zephyr's early arrival and gathered nearby waiting for them, when Zephyr and Kizaru landed they started walking in the direction of HQ without saying a word. The marines quickly stepped aside for them to pass in fear of being a hindrance to them.

"Looks like sensei is not in a good mood" Said a white haired boy in the crowd of marines watching Zephyr and Kizaru head towards HQ.

This boy was Smoker who was 12 years old and had recently joined the Marine Training Academy. A pink haired girl standing next to Smoker reprimanded him, "Idiot can't you see that Vice Admiral Graydle is not here? You better behave yourself if you don't want Zephyr-sensei to expel you."

This was Hina, Smoker's only friend who joined at the same time as him and if it wasn't for her on many occasions he would have been expelled as he was a troublemaker.

"Hmph I don't care" Smoker said with his hands on his heads as he went off to mess around somewhere.

"Hey you idiot! Where are you going?" said Hina angrily as she chased after Smoker.

Already inside the HQ, Zephyr went to Kong's office and opened the door without knocking, all the people in the large office turned to see who it was dared to enter without knocking.

Seeing Zephyr they didn't say anything as someone with his position didn't need such formality, "What happened Zephyr? You don't have a good face bwahaha" Said one of the people in the room.

If Yamamoto saw this person he would recognize him immediately, it was Monkey D. Garp Luffy's grandfather and one of the most powerful people in One Piece, at this moment his appearance was different as he was 22 years younger, his hair was not yet white.

In the room besides Garp, there was Sengoku, Tsuru a very famous vice admiral and Kong who was sitting at his main desk. Unlike Garp they noticed the look on Zephyr's face and frowned knowing that something bad had happened.

Garp had only recently arrived in Marineford and didn't have much idea about what had happened in Ohara and neither did he know about Zephyr's mission, so he couldn't notice unlike the others, Zephyr's tense atmosphere.

"I have failed and Graydle was killed by that old man" Zephyr reported in a serious tone looking in Kong's direction. He knew his mission failed and he had no excuses, so he was prepared for possible punishment.

"What, is that old man stronger than you?" asked Kong not believing what Zephyr was saying.

Sengoku and Tsuru were also surprised by Zephyr's statements, they could believe that a vice admiral would die, if Yamamoto fought to the death and decided to take someone with him, but they didn't believe that Zephyr would lose to him. Garp had an incredulous look on his face that clearly said he didn't understand what was going on.

Before Zephyr could speak, Kizaru who was behind him, stepped forward and interrupted him, "It was my fault, that old man used a strange power and imprisoned me". After that he proceeded to tell them the deal that Yamamoto brought up for him not to murder Kizaru which was for Zephyr to retire.

"Because of my incompetence Zephyr-sensei had to withdraw and let them escape, I am prepared for a punishment" Kizaru said finishing the explanation.

"It's not their fault, they didn't know about that strange power. Zephyr you made the right choice" Said Garp being in favor of Zephyr's decision so they won't kill Kizaru, Tsuru and Sengoku nodded agreeing with Garp.

If they lost Kizaru a future admiral they would regret it too much, so they agreed with Zephyr's decision making. Kong observing this, said "Well, I won't punish them, it seems that old man has several hidden cards up his sleeve, you can say goodbye."

Zephyr and Kizaru respectfully said goodbye to Kong and left the room, the other three also noticed that Kong wanted to be alone in his office so they also withdrew, leaving him alone.

*This is more serious than I thought...* Kong thought as he took out a den den mushi and made a call.
