2 2 A Heart of Justice.

Tying all of the Pirates, the Batman wannabe kid unmasked his Bat Headgear, revealing his short black hair and oh so handsome face drenched in a bucket of sweat.

He has a masculine jawline, a mole under his left eye, his eyes are sharp, and his irises are pure black like the night. In a quick glance, he really does resembles The Dark Knight, only he is much more younger than the vigilante.

He is Lawliet. A 13 years old kid who suddenly found himself here on the Pirate World. He's a reincarnator, but he doesn't remember anything about his past years here.

He doesn't remember anything about the past 13 years he's living, on who his parents are, or where does he really lived, it's like he's suddenly been strucked by amnesia.

Anyway, he one day find himself lying in a wet ground of a dark alley, surrounded by garbages with no memory except for what he's name is.

But thanks to some Gods out there, because he didn't forget his memories about his past life, and he's also been gifted with knowledge of every tech in every Universe, known or unknown to people.

Mark armors, Bat technology, M.I.B tech. . .

He is now known in these seas as a famous Bounty hunter, under the alias of 'Batman'. But he's not totally a Bounty hunter.

He doesn't accept the bounty rewards for these Criminals he beat. He doesn't want to taint the name of the Great Batman you know, he just robbed this Pirates of their Treasures, and it's more than enough for him.

And, don't judge him because of how young he is. Remember that Lucci did more great things at his age, like liberating a whole kingdom in the hands of at least five hundred or more Pirates with no difficulty.

In fact Lawliet just have an above average strength based on his understanding.

If average people can lift people here easily with just one hand, then he can easily lift two or maybe three people with just one hand without breaking a sweat.

(A/N: It's One Piece. Average People like Buggy can really lift people easily with just one hand.)

And in his fight with Rhodes before, he was sure that he will really get his ass beaten out there if Rhodes is not weakened by his Sleeping Gas and Batarangs before the fight.

The Dude is almost at least two or three times stronger than him, showing that how weak he really is.

"Ahh. . . I really need to get stronger." He muttered, remembering in his past life how in the series stated that Garp managed to flattened a hill using only his fists.

Unlike in the DC Universe. Batman who's a normal human can have a toe to toe fight with God like level Strength Superman because of the existence of Kryptonite, that weakens the Stellar Kryptonian God and can be dragged down his level in a human level.

(A/N: I don't know if I'm right. I'm not reading American comics. They're too expensive for me. (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠))

But here in One Piece, things like Superhuman level beings having a weakness about a certain rock, doesn't exist.

"Oh, Wait! . . . There's a thing like Kryptonite that works on Superhuman beings here. . . Sea Stone!" Lawliet shout in delight, then he immediately think of ideas to use Sea Stones on his tech for fighting.

But then he instantly turned depressed, as he remembered a certain fact about Sea Stones.

"They don't work, on Non-Devil Fruit users." He said gloomily.

*Sigh!*

He shoke his head. Pictures, of Garp, Shanks, Mihawk, and many others flashed on his head.

'Sea Stones won't work on these people, as they are not Devil Fruit Users.' He thought.

"I need to train more, or invent something that will strengthen me."

"Maybe a Hulk serum will work. Supersoldier? . . . Nahh! I doubt it will work!"

"Then, can Mark armors can take me to those great heights? . . . Possible. But it should be more advanced, and durable. And I need excellent materials to-- Wait a minute, I forgot what I'm doing something here." He shouted in realization, as he looked at his environment and saw the tied Pirates and the three young girls in the corner.

"I really need to cure these mental illness of mine. I may one day die because of this." He said, standing up and wearing his Bat Headgear.

He's suffering some kind of mental illness. An illness where he will immediately lose his focus once something interesting grabs a hold of his attention.

It depends more on what the thing managed to have his attention, because sometimes it's hard to brush it off out of his mind, that it takes a minute or so for him to come back on his self.

Walking towards Rhodes, he put out some kind of sealed glass tube in his own Bat utility belt, with moving green gas in it.

He crouched down, then broke the tube right in front of the face of Rhodes, making the guy inhaled all the Gas down.

Then after that he walked towards the three girl in the corner. He injected them with something one by one, then left.

. . .

In a nearby Marine Based. One particular Marine Officer who's resting his butt on his chair in his office, notice a light in the sky that seemingly familiar.

A white light, with a Bat sign on it.

'Bat Signal!'

He immediately stood up on his feet, and grabbed the near den-den mushi on his desk.

"Gather the Mens, He appeared again!" He shouted to the other side of the den-den mushi.

"The Batman!" He added more, before he ended the line.

The speaker den-den mushi's around the base all rang at the same time. Then the Marines who are on stanby have been notified about 'The Batman' appearing again.

All the able Marines rush towards the hill behind the port, where the Bat signal is lighted.

When they reached there, they saw an abandoned building three storey's tall.

The Bat signal is lighted up on the roof of it.

Besides it, on the ground, numerous unconscious Pirates are tied together. Their number will reach not below thirty.

"We're late. . . Again." The Marine officer muttered under his breath.

This is the Tenth time the Bat signal is lighted.

The first time it's lighted, is a month before. They saw it on the clouds in the night sky, and got curious on what is it.

They followed the tail of the light, and they ended in the shore where they saw a Pirate ship.

They boarded it, then they saw a ship light pointed at the sky, with a dead Bat above it.

They also saw several Pirates tied in the mast of the ship, then the Pirates Captain with a bounty of twelve million berries on his head, tied, hanging upside down on the head of the ship.

Muttering things like "Demon, he's a Demon!" then when they ask him who is he talking about he only said one thing.

"Batman!"

Since then, they got interested on who this Batman is.

Every night when the Bat signal is lighted, or so they called it, they will rush towards it and will saw a Pirate, Bandits, or any type of Criminals tied and beaten up on the end of the signal.

And the leaders of these Criminals will always muttering things like "Demon!" "Monster!" "Devil!" and so on.

They also send a report of this Batman guy in the Marine Headquarters. And then after that they received a mission from the H.Q. to recruit whoever this Batman is.

Since the Marine H.Q. believe that whoever this Batman is, he had a heart of Justice just like them.

Not redeeming the Bounty of those Big time Pirates, everyone will really thought that you have a heart of Justice if you just keep beating those Criminals without any reward on what you're doing.

And besides that. The Marine H.Q. believes that this Batman guy is a Devil Fruit User who has a fear oriented ability, based on the state of the criminals he beaten up until now.

And this type of ability, is really an eye catching to this Marines.

Too bad they're always late whenever Batman appears.

"Captain, He's no longer here!" One of the Marines shouted from the inside of the building.

The Marine walked out of the building with three girls following him behind him.

"There's also some hostages here. I think this is the very first time this is happened, Captain."

The Marine Officer look at the three girls behind the Marine, then he turned his head to the Marine.

"Did they saw him?"

The Marine turned his head and look at the three girls behind him.

The three girls only shook their head as an answer.

"I'm afraid they didn't see him. But at least we can say that he's a good man, right, Captain?"

"Yeah. . . At least we can say that." The Marine officer said with a pleased smile.

'He really is an Ally of Justice.'

"All right, Men! Imprisoned this Criminals! We owe 'Batman' again over this case! We should be ashamed of ourselves for not doing our work done! Look they even have some Hostages! Shame on us!" He shouted on his own kind Marine.
