33 Chapter thirty three- System updates and Raffle

Their question was answered a couple of seconds later when Gabriel stepped out of the statue his entire body rapidly shaking as he just passed through the wax like it wasn't even there, before turning around to admire the statue, "hmmm not bad, the pose came out better than I intended," he mused, having been fully aware of Mr threes powers he knew that as long as he was still conscious under the wax he would be able to phase his way out of it with ease, and he even got a nice statue of himself out of it.

Mr three gawked with his mouth wide having never seen anyone just walk out of his wax like that before.

The expressions were mimicked by both Gem and Mikita while Marianne dropped a cookie she had just been about to eat, her mouth hanging open in shock.

Gabriel then turned to them before smirking, "thanks, you can both go" he said casually.

Mr three blinked, "um what?" He asked not sure if he had heard correctly.

"I said you can both go, did you get some of your wax in your ears or something" Gabriel replied, "I don't want to fight either of you now, since it's pretty obvious I can get out of your wax, fighting you would be boring, so scram"

Mr three swallowed hard and bit back a sharp retort he was about to give. After seeing him just walk out of his wax it was clear that his abilities would prove to be useless against someone with abilities like his, and if he was just going to let him walk away the wise thing for him to do was just that.

So, with a nod of his head Mr three turned and hurried out the back door pulling Miss Golden week with him as they both fled as fast as they could.

Gabriel just watched them go for a moment before turning back to Gem and Mikita, "Well that was amusing" he said casually as he walked over to Mikita who was stuck to the floor with wax encasing her feet and lower body up to past her knees, Mr three obviously didn't want to have to deal with her dropping down on him from above so had waited until she was on the ground to lock her in place before showing himself.

"Here Mikita, let me help you with that" Gabriel said before drawing back his fist as he shook rapidly before he punched the wax making it shatter like glass.

"Um, thank you captain" Mikita said as she stood out of the wax and whipped the remaining pieces off her legs.

"You just let them go, just like that?" Gem asked as he looked at Gabriel, "you do realise he will cause the others a headache, right?"

Gabriel shrugged, "Yeah I know, but it won't be anything Luffy and the others can't handle, besides I promised Luffy that he could have all the enemies for the next two islands until Alabasta, if I beat his ass here then I'd be going back on my word" he reasoned.

He wasn't too pissed about letting either of them go, he had seen them both now so that meant he could just use his mind palace to beat them for the rewards later, he already had Dorry to beat as well that just meant he had to lay eyes on Brogy now and he would have both of them to fight against in his mind palace to really test himself.

Gem sighed, "You really shouldn't go about making promises like that," he muttered.

Gabriel shrugged, "It's already been made so there's no point in whining about it, and I won't break it now, if I'm going to be the strongest Yonkō in the future people who come to do dealings with me will have to know that they can trust my word once it is given power means next to nothing if your reputation is shit" he explained his reasoning.

Both Gem and Mikita pondered that for a moment and they could see the logic in it, Yonkō's no doubt did dealings with other major powers in the world, and if he did manage to become a Yonkō if he was known for breaking his word once given then none of the major powers would want to risk dealing with him and it would make things harder for him in the long run.

With his peace said Gabriel looked back out into the jungle in the direction that the pair had run off in. He mused to himself about going to find Mr three's little wax house but decided against it, that whole little mess was covered by Sanji and as much as it would be tempting to mess with Crocodile over the den den mushi it wasn't tempting enough for him to risk messing with the chance that he could mess up not getting the eternal pose to Alabasta.

"Okay, both of you stay with the ship, I'm goanna go out again and see about finding the others and warn them about our guests," Gabriel told them both getting a nod from the pair before he vanished once again.

Gabriel didn't immediately go to the others to fill them in, he knew they would be fine either way, without Gem or Mikita Mr three didn't have a hope in hell of beating the straw hat crew, plus Keren was with them, she would be able to handle herself in a fight, no right now he had other things to do, like spending some of the cash that he had just raked in.

Coming to a stop in a secluded little area, Gabriel took a seat next to one of them and put his back against it, the first things on his mind were to go about purchasing system upgrades again, he didn't want to purchase a lot of them just enough to see about improving things.

Opening the list of upgrades available he looked over the first ones again. He was tempted to buy the devil fruit upgrade for ten million but decided against it. He had read up on each of the upgrade specs while he was sailing and knew that both the devil fruit upgrade skills would allow him to eat another devil fruit on top of the one he already had in order to do so he would have to pay a rather large TP price in order to do so, and currently he had no TP to spare so buying them was pointless at the moment.

So, in the end he decide to just purchase whatever other upgrades that were available and within his price range.

System quest update- multiple choice- 100,000 beri

System quest update- repeat quests- 500,000 beri

System update- system raffle 2.0- 400,000 beri

System update- system raffle 3.0- 800,000 beri

System update- system raffle 4.0- 1,000,000 beri

One by one he purchased each of them and let them install before he purchased the next one, leaving the notifications until the end to see what they had to say, the headaches weren't anywhere near as bad each time since he wasn't installing multiple updates at the one time, he had certainly learned his lesson about that.

When the final update was installed, he began to read over the notifications and felt a grin come to his face as he did so.

System updates now successfully installed

System quest update- quests will now become available to user that have multiple choices in how to complete them, choices will allow for user to make moral decisions on how or if to complete their given quest.

System quest update- unique quests will now be available to the user, these quests can be repeated multiple times to receive the same reward for completing the quests given task more than once.

Raffle 2.0- Silver system raffle unlocked, bronze system raffle has been upgraded with additional items- One silver raffle token has been deposited into users' inventory, further raffle tokens can now be received as rewards from quests

Raffle 3.0- Gold system raffle unlocked, bronze and silver system raffles have been upgraded with additional items- One gold raffle token has been deposited into users' inventory, further raffle tokens can now be received as rewards from quests

Raffle 4.0- Platinum system raffle unlocked, bronze, silver and gold system raffles have been upgraded with additional items- One platinum raffle token has been deposited into users' inventory, further raffle tokens can now be received as rewards from quests

That was very good news, it meant that now not only would he be less restricted by the system in how to complete quests, but he would also be given quests that he could farm for points as well. He knew that the System had yet to give him a quest that he didn't want to take on, but at the same time it was good to know that now at least he would have options available to him.

The raffle upgrades made his grin grow even more, with all of them unlocked and with upgrades on what was on them he knew that he could possibly get some good stuff if luck was on his side.

Going into his inventory he found the tokens and began to read about what items he could get from their individual raffles and he wasn't disappointed.

The Bronze raffle now har increased drop rates on the tokens for AP and TP, as well as several store discount tokens added in various amounts.

The silver raffle had everything the Bronze raffle had in addition to its own brand of AP and TP tokens, and much to his glee it offered a single zoan or paramecia devil fruit as prizes

The gold had everything the silver and bronze had, but instead of all the Discount tokens for the store it only had one batch of the twenty five present off and another token that was good for one free purchase from the store, and as well as offering a single paramecia or one or two zoan devil fruits, a single logia devil fruit was now a possible outcome.

But the biggest draw was the platinum raffle, it not only had improved drop numbers for the TP and AP tokens, as well as every item the other raffles offered with improved drop numbers, but it also offered one to two Paramecia or Zoan fruits, as well as one logia, Ancient Zoan or Mythical Zoan.

And to make things even better, each token afforded for more than just a single spin of each raffle, the silver gave him two spins, the gold gave him three and the platinum gave him four.

"these raffles are packed with useful things, and with this many spins I am guaranteed to get something good," Gabriel muttered before he hit each of the tokens and select use. The three raffle wheels appeared on a screen in front of him and began to spin, slowing down gradually and like before Gabriel closed his eyes and waited not wanting to see what he got until he had it all in front of him.

Bell after bell sound rang in Gabriel's ear as he counted each down, until he heard a total of nine bells before opening his eyes to read the screen in front of him his grin threatening to spilt is face with how big it got as he read

Needless to say Gabriel was very happy he was sitting down at that very moment when he saw the prizes he had managed to get from the raffles, multiple TP and AP tokens, as well as a single store token, six hundred thousand Beri and a paramecia devil fruit.

Immediately Gabriel went back into his inventory to check on the fruit and tapped on the icon to see what fruit he had gotten and slumped against the tree in disappointment when he read what it was.

The eater of this fruit gains razor sharp nails on both their hands from which they are able to produce cutting air blades with that are sharp enough to slash through rocks with very little effort.

It was the devil fruit that the mercenary Eric had eaten from the non-canon arc of warship island. That just depressed Gabriel when he read it, while the fruit wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It wasn't the most powerful that he could have gotten and he had been hoping to get something that Keren would benefit from but it looks like she would have to wait a bit longer before she could get a fruit unless she found one herself.

Not letting the bad fruit get him down he decided to use the AP and TP tokens he had gained, looking over their details he could see that the higher the grade of tokens the higher the amounts of AP and TP went.

Bronze AP tokens gave between 50 and 300AP, while Silver AP tokens gave between 100 and 500AP, Gold AP tokens gave between 400 and 1000AP and Platinum AP tokens gave between 1000 and 5000AP.

While Bronze TP tokens gave between 1 to 5TP, Silver increased that to 2 to 6TP, Gold increased it to 3 to 7TP and Platinum had the best odds of 5 to 10TP

Deciding to start with lower grade AP tokens first Gabriel began to use them.
