6 A Quick Resolve

He then coughs causing his body to spasm and his wounds begin to bleed even worse than before. Seeing this Sparrow immediately tears off Zoro's shirt and begins to wrap his wounds in it.

Still pointing Wado Ichimonji to the sky, despite the trembling in his arm Zoro continues, "From this point on, I shall never be defeated again! Until the day I defeat him and become a master swordsman, I'll never be defeated, got a problem with that?

Luffy! King of the pirates!!!"

Luffy then chuckles before shaking his head, "Nope!"

Then, Mihawk nods approvingly, "You two are good teammates. I hope to see you again." Before turning and waking off.

Just as Mihawk was about to return to his raft, Don Krieg leaps down from his ship and onto the deck where Luffy, Zoro, and Sparrow are. "Oi Mihawk? Did you not come to take my head? Turned coward did you?"

Mihawk simply snorts, "Hardy, I was simply hunting you because I was bored. Since that young swordsman managed to quench my boredom for now, I have no reason to kill you."

Don Krieg then laughs, "You fool! Who said you could leave? Now die!!!" Upon shouting those words, Krieg raises his arms revealing a massive set of golden armor which was hidden beneath his cloak.

From his arms, sprout two large machine guns. Just as he's about to open fire, he suddenly stops dead in his tracks as he can feel the cool steal of a pistol on the back of his head.

Krieg then slowly turns around, sweat dripping down his forehead to see Sparrow, with a cold look on his face holding a pistol to the back of his head. "W-what do you think your doing? I'm the strongest in the world! I'll kill you!"

This causes Sparrow the gestures with his free hand dramatically, "Oh but I don't think you will mate, you see, your dead! So how will you kill me?"

In a fury, Krieg swings his arm around towards Sparrows skull in an attempt to crush it, but however, before he could reach him...

*BANG*

The moment that they hear that sound, all the Krieg pirates gasp, "Captain!"

Ghin, falls to his knees. "Impossible. Kriegs supposed to be invincible. How could he..."

As they all stare on in fear, Sparrow stand their with smoke leaving the tip of his flintlock as Krieg falls to the ground dead, with a bullet hole in his head.

"Well then. I think that solve the whole everyone's going to do battle sort of thing. Now can you all just leave?" Sparrow asks while placing the flintlock back into his coat.

All the other pirates then turn to look at Ghin. After all, since Kriegs dead, that makes him captain. Ghin however is conflicted. On one hand, he had made an oath to follow Krieg, but on the other Krieg is now dead.

Krieg was never a particularly good captain. In fact, he was a terrible captain. He had only continued to serve Krieg because he was a man of his word. But now that Krieg was dead....

However before he could finish, Sparrow asks, "I have a proposal for you all. Now that your ever so scary captain is dead... Why don't you all serve under me?

Take that smaller brigantine thats parked right next to this now destroyed galleon, right there, and head over to Conomi Islands.

I got my first mate their setting up a shipyard. He could use some help. Plus, once I head out onto the grand line, I won't be able to run it anymore, and after some training you could be the strongest in the East Blue, so I'll leave it in your care. Thoughts?"

Ghin and the rest of the crew look on at Sparrow in shock. Ghin however recovers and thinks for a minute. 'This deal, sounds promising.'

After a moment's consideration, Ghin simply nods. "Yes, I accept your offer Sparrow."

Sparrow then smirks, "It's Commodore. Commodore Jack Sparrow. And I name you, Captain Ghin of the East blue!"

Ghin then nods before turning and shouting, "Get moving you bill rats, prep the sails and man the helm! Get this ship ready to sail!"

"Aye aye Captain!" They shout in response as they move over to the only other remaining ship thats sailable.

Ghin, then turns to Sparrow, "Commodore, what about you? Will you not come with us?"

Sparrow then shakes his head, "No need Captain, you see, my first mate is a devil fruit user. So he'll take care about the transportation of me and my friends here."

Ghin then nods, "See you at the islands sir."

"Good man."
