10 Chapter 10

This will be the last chapter for a while as you don't know this isn't my main novel, I'm writing this and a few others to have a vote to decide which one I should do mainly next.

As I entered the bar all the occupants turned their attention to me, but as I had no interest in any of them I paid it no mind and approached the bar and sat on a stool.

" Serve me a shot of rum, and keep them coming."

" Of course." the bartender smiled and said as he turned and prepared my drink.

As he did I looked around, and as one would expect from a bar in a small village it wasn't anything special just the bear essentials.

' I guess hoping to find a navigator here eas getting my hopes way too high.'

" Your drink." the bartender says as he places the shot of rum in front of me, while also pulling me from my thoughts.

" Thanks, but I also need some information about the pirates in the area."

The bartender's welcoming smile shone brighter as he rubbed his hands together and spoke.

" Of course, that information is easy enough to provide, but you should know nothing is free." he says the smile never leaving his face.

" Yeah, I know just bring me the information, and this will be your payment."

Saying this I dropped the rum and stretched my right hand into my pocket and pulled out a gold ring and chain and placed them on the counter.

" I'm sure this is more than enough right?"

" Of course, of course." he repeated and swiftly snatched the ring and chain while also placing a stack of paper on the counter in front of me.

I'm sure I overpaid, but it doesn't matter too much now, it's probably just a couple thousand berries.

'"Another shot." I said while turning my attention to the stack of papers.

Double-axe Cain( captain of the double-axe pirates)- 3,000,000 belly bounty.

' Double axe Cain current captain of the axe pirates after killing the last captain, also well known for attacking villages and burning them to the ground, was last seen in the waters around Pine Island( 3 days ago).

I read the first paper and the information contained in it was far more than I expected even his location up to three days ago was included.

I looked up at the bartender who had already placed another shot of rum in front of me.

" Is this really just the pirates in the surrounding waters?"

" Of not, if it were we would all be dead already, the pirates there are all the pirates with bounties in the east blue currently, I guessed you would be interested in those without." he said smiling.

" It seems you have already seen through my purpose." I said staring at him.

" It wasn't hard, ninety-nine percent of people who ask about pirates are bounty hunters, and even though you don't look it, I have learned never to judge a book by its cover." he said seriously, as the smile adorning his face finally left his face for the first time we started taking.

Ignoring him I focused on the papers again and started flipping through and scanning the names.

Bloody James- 8,000,000 berries

John the beheader- 9,000,000 berries

The horseman Zoran- 15,000,000 berries

Man of Steel Roran- 18,000,000 berries

...

The list went on, there were a total of twenty pirate groups in the east blue with bounties but these were the ones with the highest bounties, the others were all around two to seven million berries.

And with the information recorded, I managed to find out two of them had Devil fruit powers.

Man of Steel Roran was recorded to have the Supa Supa no Mi, although I doubt he developed it to the extent of Mr.1 he should be almost invincible in the east blue with the powers granted by the fruit.

The horseman Zoran as his name suggests had a zoan-type fruit that granted him the ability to transform into a horse while granting him high levels of endurance and speed even his strength and durability were increased a bit, causing him to have little to no opponents in the east blue.

'With this information now I have two choices start hunting them down immediately which would be extremely difficult seeing that I don't have any navigation skills, or I could recruit a temporary navigator but then I would have to slip the profits.

To be honest none of the choices seemed to be very appealing, I didn't want to drift in the sea hoping to meet a pirate group and then an island, and I didn't want to share my loot either.

Finding the two choices unacceptable, I turned to the bartender once again.

"Do you know anyone that can teach me to navigate in the four blues? I don't need to know how to navigate the grand line."

Hearing this the bartender's smile returned as he opened his mouth to answer me.
