1 The Desolate Island
A group of people found themselves washed up on a beach all they could remember is having a small celebration that they arranged after they achieved their recent milestone last month.
There were around 8 people on beach none of them looked above the age of 25 they were all friends working in a small startup together they had just had moved to a new city few months back and had worked hard so that they could achieve their goal in their life. All they remember is having a party and then waking up in this desolated beach the next morning with a massive hangover. There was panic and confusion in their eyes the biggest confusion was that of how did they reached a beach because the nearest beach from their city was over 400km away. After gathering together, they were trying to figure out what was going on as one of them who was their boss and also their defato leader asked.
Leader: what is the last thing you guys remember?
At that question everyone looked each other trying to find out what to answer after looking here and there one of the girls answered.
girl1: Syed last think we remember is parting and drinking in the office last I saw the time it was around 2:30 in the morning.
Almost everyone agreed to what the girl said. Syed could feel the headache growing from the lack of information about their current situation. He took a deep breath and tried to put in thought in order and said.
Syed: Let's take one step at a time there were 14 of us in the office party let's do a roll call and see who are missing now please call out your names one at a time.
After agreeing to Syed said they started calling their names one at a time.

Max
Abdul
Ruchi
Sean
Krish
James
Syed: That's 8 out of 14 so 6 are still missing I want to search for them as soon as possible but looking at your state I can you all have a headache as bad as mine so let's wait for a while then will search around and see if we can find them as of now let's find some shade and rest for a while.
Everyone agreed to what Syed said starting walking towards the nearest trees they could see lucky for them there was a forest that they could see from the beach they reached their everyone slumped down in the shade leaning on trees trying to fight the massive headache they were having.
After waiting for about an hour their headache was almost bearable so they decided to check the area and hopefully find their friends and some answers about what was going on they made 4 group starting searching.
Syed and Sean went around the beach in one direction, Archi and Krish went in the other direction of the beach. Abdul, Ruchi, James and Max went to the forest to search a way out of the beach to a road.
After an hour of searching and looking around the beach Syed and Sean spotted a solitude of a couple from far away you could see a hope raising in them they started running towards the couple to their surprise the couple was also running towards them after running for a while they could clearly see the faces of the couple and what they saw crushed their hope and also raised some questions in them, the. couple in front of them were non other then Archi and Krish. Syed who was clearly annoyed asked the couple.
Syed: I though you both were going to the other side of the beach what are you doing here?
Krish: We were about to ask the same question to you guys what are you guys doing here?
Syed was also confused about the answer he received from them before he could process what was going on they heard a noise coming from the forest that they could see neat the beach they became alert not knowing what was coming towards them, they all hope it were humans and that they could help them understand what was going on here. Suddenly they saw few figures coming out of the forest what they saw shocked them but also made them confuse the people that came out of the forest were the rest of their group.
the group from the forest was also shocked to see the remaining people they were confused as how their friends reached here before them, they reached where their friends were watching them with a dumbfound look and asked.
Ruchi: hey guys how did you reach here before us??
everyone one was looking at each other in confusion not knowing what was going on suddenly Sean began shouting.
Sean: OH SHIT FU&#%#-#+G SHIT this can't be happening we are so screwed
Seeing Sean shouting and panicking Syed could not take it anymore he grabbed Sean by the shoulders and shook him very hard and finally asked him.
Syed: what the f#-+k happened why are you shouting like crazy?
Sean finally regained some control and answered
Sean: We are screwed THIS this is not a random beach that is not ANY random forest that will lead us to a road to our home we are not stranded in a beach we are stranded on a fu&₹-₹+g island in the middle of nowhere.
As he stopped talking it also dawned on all panic was setting in their minds as the realism hit them. But not giving up they started asked one after another.
Max: how can you be so sure that is a deserted island and not some unknown beach?
Krish: Ya bro please don't start shouting nonsense like that its giving me goosebumps.
Everyone except Abdul and Syed agreed to what Max and Krish said.
Abdul: No he's right this is a island and not just a random beach.
James: How can you be so sure?
Abdul: See the facts and situation we walked straight in the forest without taking any turns and they still reached here before us and I bet they were walking on the beach the whole time.
Syed: He's right we are in a bad situation but before we panic let's find some shade and something to eat take rest for now then let's talk and discuss what to do next is everyone OK with that?
Everyone agreed to what Syed said and were heading to the forest talking.
Ruchi: Food might not be a issue we found fruit trees in the forest we could eat those we will still need fire though.
Max: Fire won't be a problem I got my lighter with me it still works though my cigarettes were all wet and can't be used.
Archi: Thank god for that you don't have any more cigarettes otherwise the way you guys smoke we would have died of smoke poisoning.

Almost all the guys shouted at the same time.
Abdul: Actually that would not be smoke poisoning but carbon monoxide poisoning.
Archi: Ya ya I know don't keep on correcting everything I say that's not cool you know.
Abdul: It would have been nice is we had some knife or a sharp object it would be helpful at this point of time.
James: We could use Max's ego as it is so sharp and fine.
Max: Hey that's offensive my ego is not sharp its big I agree but their nothing such as sharp ego.
James: So you agree you have a big ego?
Max: Of course I do.
Max said with a triumph smile on his face which made the whole group laugh lighting the mood a little bit at the same time Ruchi said something that almost shocked everyone around.
Ruchi: I have a knife.
And showed 8inch knife holding everyone was shocked because no one excepted the sweet caring girl infornt of them had a knife on her. It was simple fixed blade looked custom made and had the initial V.R on it, trying to break the ice and the awkwardness Syed asked.
Syed: Ah mh Ruchi why do you have a knife on you I'm not judging or anything but just why?
Ruchi: Oh it was a gift from him on our anniversary before we you know kinda broke up and so I always keep it on me just as a reminder of him.
After her reply the atmosphere became a bit gloomy they knew who she was talking about, he was their good friend who worked with them for almost a year before they had to shift cities and he was unable to move with them due to his sick mom who passed away a few weeks after that and from since then he was also missing Ruchi and him were dating each other for about a year before this happened and everyone knew how much they liked each other it's just fate had different plans for them.
Max: Let's forget the sad vibes and I'm getting hungry are their any animals around that we could eat I could skin them with the knife.
At Max's statement everyone started looking at him like he was a savage with minor disgust in their eyes.
Max: Hey stop looking at me like that my uncle was a butcher he thought me how to skin animals and I love meat sue me.
Abdul: Well anyways we could not find any animals in the forest and not even a snake or small critters nothing.
Syed: That's odd I wounder why is that so?
James: its not that odd if you see island like this do exist I read about them once.
Sean: anyways I'm also hungry that panicking attack took everything out of me so let's get some things to eat.
Syed: good idea Ruchi, Abdul and Sean you all go and find some fruits to eat we will make a clearing and collect some wood so we can make fire then let's sit together and discuss what to do next is that OK with everyone.

Syed: let's meet here in an our now let's move.
After that all of them separated to get their respective jobs done unknown to the very far away from them there was a black solitude with dark grey wings flying towards their direction at super sonic speeds and was getting close to their small island.
