"So...Is there any reason why you called us here?" August asked, looking over at Dragon who stood in front of him with his arms crossed.

"Yeah, I wanna fight August! I'm making so much progress with my Ryusoken!" Sabo exclaimed.

"That's partly why I've called you here, I've noticed you two have been making considerable progress, especially ever since you two have started training together. To put it simply, you are much stronger than most of your peers at only 13 years old, so there is not much the others can teach you..." Dragon paused for a moment before continuing.

"Ivankov wanted to teach you "Newkama Kenpo" but luckily I managed to stop him, and instead I have decided to teach you both myself. You are both prodigies in your own right, Sabo you're a fighting genius who developed his own fighting style at 13, you also quickly learn from your mistakes and your fighting has considerably less holes after all your spars with August." Dragon praised, and Sabo seemed pleased with the assessment of his savior.

He then turned away and looked towards August. "You are also a fighting genius, and can fight with a calm mind and think rationally in a fight, which is something not many fighters can do, you also possess an indomitable will and you never give up, as your time as a slave has shown" Dragon said, and August only nodded, but on the inside he was feeling really happy being praised by his leader.

"Despite being only 13, your bodies are that of a superhuman, which is why I will be teaching you some superhuman techniques. Watch and learn..."

He suddenly disappeared from his current spot, leaving the 2 teenagers shocked as their eyes darted around the room, trying to find where Dragon went.

"Behind you" A voice from behind them spoke.

"Woah..." Sabo's eyes shone brightly.

"How did you do that?" August asked, "I know it was to do with your legs and not your devil fruit, what did you do?"

"Let me show you again" Dragon said, standing with his arms crossed.

"Sabo, watch his legs, their the key" August pointed out.

"Mhm" Sabo nodded, his eyes narrowing.

*SWISH*

Dragon disappeared again, and was mildly shocked when the 2 kids partially managed to follow his movement, their eyes looking at him just shortly after he stopped.

"You saw it too, right August?"

"Yeah, he kicked the ground at least a dozen times instantly and disappeared." August said, looking to Dragon for the answer.

"Well done. Right there was just one of the Rokushiki, Soru, predominantly used by the world government and its various branches. We shall fight fire with fire, using their own techniques against them, Are you up to the challenge?"

The 2 aspiring prodgies nodded their heads.

"I'll be watching you, here are some tips to start you off. You need to balance both your speed and strength. Be strong enough to kick hard, but also fast enough to kick many times a second, that is the key. Don't try and force it, otherwise your legs will be damaged."

[4 hours later.]

*huff* *huff* *huff*

August and Sabo sat on the ground, breathing heavily as they began massaging their muscles in hopes of relieving the pain.

"That's enough for today, you're both making progress, but you need to rest."

"Bu-"

"That is an order you need to rest and heal your muscles. Go to the doctor, have a nice meal, then have a warm bath and a long sleep, and tomorrow you will be fully rested and ready to go again" Dragon ordered.

"Come on Sabo, let's go. I have a question I want to ask you, what do you think of fire?" August inquired, slumping his hand over Sabo's shoulder as they limped away back to their rooms

"Huh? What a weird question, well..."

Dragon slowly tuned the conversation out of his mind, beginning to think on other things. Those 2 kids were something special, it had just been 1 day and they had already gotten a good grasp on soru, give them another month and they would have perfected the basic version of it. He couldn't wait to see their faces when their techniques were used against them, and too a better degree.

They were both strong, extremely strong for their age but not overconfident or smug about it. He didn't need to bring them down a peg by demonstrating how weak they were because they knew how weak they were in the grand scheme of things. Hell, they were fighting to bring down a government that had lasted 800 years, they knew the dangers and the strength they needed to achieve their goals. They were walking a long and hard road, but both of them continuously improved each other and lifted the other one up when they tired.

"Vwell, how vwere they?" Ivankov suddenly asked, appearing behind Dragon.

[A/N: I changed it Ivankovs normal speaking, if you want me to change it back ask here]

"They were good, really good. Those 2 kids are like brothers, thick as blood and constantly helping each other."

"I can see, vthey are very similar but different vin some regards. They both have strength vand intelligence, but August is vmore mature compared to Sabo's more adventurous nature, but they both know vhow to have fun. Vi'm glad he has a friend, otherwise I'm afraid he vwould end up like you in the future" Ivankov mocked.

"He probably would, he is very smart, I would almost mistake him for an adult."

"Vwell, thats what slavery does to you, forces vyou to mature." Ivankov said in a melancholic tone.

"It does" Dragon nodded, not showing any emotion aside from a slight twitch.

"Vyou're raising him to be vyour successor aren't vyou?" Ivankov asked bluntly, deciding to fight fire with fire. Ask a blunt person blunt questions.

Dragon let out a small huff of air, "Was it that obvious?"

"To a trained eye like minev vit was,Vi noticed vyou took a liking to him after vyour first meeting, and ever since then vyou have been helping the boy in many ways."

"I believe I will die soon, and I will have to entrust the future to the next generation, August is perfect for that. With Sabo and the army at his side, I believe we can win."

"Vi do agree with you there, but what makes vyou think vyou're gonna die soon?"

"We have 2 prodigies in the making, they have the potential to become as stron- no even stronger than me. As they get stronger, things will begin picking up. The world government will crank up the pressure on us once they see the potential and strength of Sabo and August. If they seem to target Sabo and August, I would gladly sacrifice myself for them. You may not believe me, but ever since August arrived and started training with Sabo, my nightmares have been less frequent. Instead of the revolutionary army being wiped out, I dream of a world without celestial dragons or the corrupt government, and a world I can be proud to be in. A world where parents can raise their children without fear of being killed or manipulated, a world with no slaves, a world where everyone is free "

"I see" Ivankov nodded, "vyou're placing an awful lot of trust in these boys, but vit is far from misplaced.Vi see something in them"

"As do I" Dragon said, the wind carrying him off.
