One Piece: Reborn As Momonosuke

As I sit in the cold rain, barely any clothes on my back, as I shiver every time a drop lands on my body.

Due to a series of misfortunes, I am now on the street homeless with nothing to eat. It's just so frustrating you know! Not knowing if you're even going to eat this week or the next to come. All I'm thinking is now, how I am dealing with this shit.

I pull out a knife, one of the only things I have from my past life. I thought about mugging people for money with this knife, but realized that wouldn't even work out since I'm weak and tired.

I thought about it for minutes. Do I even have anything left to live for? I'm dirty, broke and weak. I'm probably going to be here for the rest of my days and I don't want that.

I grabbed my knife and brought it to my throat. I hesitate for a few moments before slitting my throat.

The first second I did this, I knew it was a mistake. I'm clutching my throat realizing that I don't want to die!

I was tired before, but due to a rush of adrenaline, I'm booming with more energy than ever. I tried to stop the bleeding with anything near me, trash and alike.

It was no use, as I couldn't breathe no matter what I did. I fall to the floor, still clutching my throat, living my last moments.

Is this how I'm really going to die! I'm going to die a coward, equipped with a meaningless existence to boot. I just want a second chance! If you're out there, anyone, come save and give me one last chance.

I than blacked out.

Somewhere far beyond the mortal plane, a being made of light watched this event unfold with amusement written on his face.

"One last chance you say", the deity chuckled.

The God waved his' hand, wanting to see how this experiment goes from him.

The next thing I see and hear is a woman talking to me.

" Your name shall be Momonosuke , Kozuki Momonosuke", she said.

That name... it can't be. I started to analyze the woman before me.

The woman appeared to be tall with long light green hair that was kept back with the exception of two strands in front .She wore a flower ornament with a chain of pearls on the right side of her hair.

My suspicion was later to be correct as a man walked in the room.

He was a large and very muscular man of towering height. He had long, wild hair of black color that was notably gathered into a large, flat, circular plane at the top, and also included a prominent widow's peak and triangular sideburns.

This was the legendary samurai, Kozuki Oden. Does that mean I'm his son. Am I the current shogun of Wano! Am I in the world of One Piece!

I then began to think about my last moments. How I beg for a second chance at this whole 'life' thing and now my wish has been granted. God or whoever done that, your pity will not go to waste in this life!

That was my promise as I faded out of consciousness due to being tired.

The next time I opened my eyes, I was on the deck of a ship. It was filled with many people, and many people I recognize.

There was Marco, a very strong warrior. I almost didn't recognize him due to being so young.

There was Thatch, another commander of Whitebeard Pirates, who would unfortunately be killed by Marshall.D.Teach, known to me as "Blackbeard".

And last of all, the captain of the crew himself.

He has a prominent white crescent-shaped mustache,.He wore a white and yellow pirate hat with his jolly roger on it over a black bandanna with black and red, both worn over long, blond flowing hair he has right now.

"Looks like we have another family member now",Whitebeard shouted out.

Everyone cheered, laughing and welcoming me into their crew.

This is it. This might be the new life I was looking for. From now on, I'm putting 101% into making this new life one for the better. Watch out world, here comes a new legendary in the making, Kozuki Momonosuke!
