20 Annihilation

Foxy laid on the floor unconscious, blood masking his face. His bones broken and shattered and his face barely recognizable after taking Kai's punches.

"GYAAAH!! BOSS!!"

"The boss has been defeated by that guy…I can't believe it!"

"Captain Foxy!!" Porche called out. Foxy's crew looked very shocked at their captain's defeat.

"Hahaha! That's our captain!" Heat and Wire cheered enthusiastically for their victorious captain.

"Let's go Kai!" Kid joined them as well.

"What a pushover. Can't believe I let this guy actually land a punch," Kai muttered, eyeing Foxy's limp form. He snatched Foxy by the collar and hauled him off the ship.

"Seriously, what's he up to?" Porche and Foxy's crew exchanged puzzled glances as they followed Kai, disembarking from the ship and making sure their captain is safe.

On the port, outside the Sexy Foxy,

Both crews stood facing each other. The Foxy Pirates waited with unease, anticipating Kai's choice of crew member. after all, the agreement was for just one to be taken. Amidst this, Porche checked up on Foxy.

"So, who are you planning to pick?" Kid inquired of Kai.

"I don't recognize any of them, but I heard the old fox mention having mechanics and shipwrights in his crew. We'll need someone to keep the Victoria Punk in top shape, considering we're uncertain about the challenges that might arise during our journey" Kai explained, glancing over at Foxy's crew as he spoke. He struggled to recall most faces, recognizing only a handful.

"True, the best way is to simply ask them," Kid chimed in, stepping forward. He called out, "Any shipwrights among you, step up!" After a moment of exchanged glances, several individuals stepped forward.

Among those, two faces stood out. Gina, an attractive woman with short, wavy red hair and Donovan, a guy with an average build, sporting stubble on his chin and dark sunglasses. He wore a leather hat and a dark jacket.

'I think these were among the ones Luffy was offered after defeating Foxy' Kai mused as he observed them closely while they introduced themselves.

"I'm Gina, skilled in carpentry and fixing things, among other talents," Gina said, casting a flirtatious look at Kai, followed by a wink. Kai paid no heed and moved his attention to the next person.

"I'm Donovan! A mechanic and a fighter. Shipbuilding and repairs are my expertise, so your vessel's in capable hands with me around!" Donovan declared with enthusiasm.

"Can you handle yourself in a fight?"

"I can hold my own!" Donovan flexed his muscles, his confidence and attitude reminded Kai of Franky.

"Alright then, welcome aboard!" Kai approved.

"Aye-aye, Captain!" Donovan responded, shifting to stand beside Kai.

"Faffaffaffa! smart choice, Kai!" Killer, positioned behind him, commented with a grin.

"H-He let the super sexy carpenter Gina-chan and took Donovan instead?!!" Foxy's crew seemed taken aback by the decision.

"When it comes down to life and death situations, I'd rather have someone who can fight than someone who is sexy"

"Hmph, your loss," Gina retorted with a touch of arrogance.

"Anyway, we can leave now if you're done…" Porche said. Hamburg stood beside her, a large and sturdy figure, one of Foxy's original crew members. He cradled the unconscious Foxy in his arms.

"Oh yeah, we are done, but…*CLICK*…" With a vicious grin, Kai quickly pulled his flintlock pistole and aimed it at them "…I never said you can leave"

"What? The Davy Black Fight's over, and you've got what you wanted. So, what's the reason?" Porche's forehead glistened with cold sweat as Foxy's crew readied their weapons. She understood their odds were slim against the Eustass Pirates, especially without their captain. Kai's performance in the earlier fight only made matters worse.

"You expect me to let a potential future enemy to leave just like that? Besides we are pirates, should we really have a valid reason for killing? Just feeling like it is enough reason for doing so, right Kiddo?" Kai glanced at the crew, a grin mirroring Kid's excitement as he cracked his knuckles in preparation.

"You damn right about that, little bro" Kid chimed in, a gleam in his eye as he readied himself to fight. The rest of the crew followed suit.

"Tsk…you won't get us that easily!" Porche exclaimed as she pointed her baton-like weapon at them.

"We'll see about that…*SWOOOSH*--!!!" Without a notice, Kid vanished from sight with a swift rush, appearing right before Porche before she could react.

"What the--?!!" Porche barely had time to react as Kid seized her by the face and forcefully slammed her to the ground, causing a significant crater and triggering a powerful shockwave from the impact. The attack was overwhelming, instantly rendering her unconscious.

Similar to his brother, Kid's training proved highly effective, enhancing his punches to the point where they could generate shockwave explosions upon impact from their sheer power.

Kid wasted no time, swiftly ending her life thereafter..

Simultaneously, Bonney leapt towards the towering figure of Hamburg. She employed her ability to transform him into a child before delivering a kick that sent him flying, causing him to drop Foxy to the ground.

"When you mess with someone, be prepared to face the consequence if failure occur…*GUN-SHOT*-!!" Kai acted swiftly, without hesitation, putting an end to Foxy's life with a bullet to the head.

Killer utilized the spinning blades on his Punishers to massacre the remainder of Foxy's crew, aided by Heat and Wire. As he moved, severed limbs and blood scattered in his wake.

Donovan, the new addition to the Eustass Pirates, appeared somewhat surprised by their brutality. However, he grasped the reality of being part of a pirate crew, where such occurrences were to be expected.

It didn't take long for the Foxy Pirates to be utterly wiped out. Following their defeat, Kid commanded his crew to crucify the surviving members on their own vessel, the 'Sexy Foxy,' after incapacitating them. He then set the ship adrift in the sea, sending a clear message 'Never mess with the Eustass Pirates if you value your life'

"Yaaah… that was something" Kai remarked, satisfaction evident in his gaze as he surveyed his defeated and humiliated enemies. While not inclined toward cold-blooded killing, he harbored no mercy for enemies, except under certain conditions—a lesson he'd learned through harsh experience.

Kai, Kid and Killer's merciless and brutal behavior was a product of their childhood and past experiences, specially Doruyanaika's death incident that changed the latter two for life, it affected Kid so much that he even started crucifying his enemies the same way Doruyanaika was killed and crucified when has the chance.

"Killer was cold as fuck going around and butchering them. That training routine certainly works, my punches feel much stronger than they were when we arrived at this place" Kid slapped Kai's back, laughter brimming in his voice "Hahaha! Your training methods always work, I'll trust you in that regard from now on!"

"I've got a new training routine in mind, but we'll save it for later when we're better prepared."

"Looking forward to it!"

"It's quite unusual to see them getting along so well," Bonney observed, standing beside Killer, Heat, Wire, and Donovan.

"Faffaffaffa! You'd be surprised at how much they get a long when they find something in common" Killer replied.

Fighting and training were among the few shared interests between the two brothers. Beyond that, their hobbies and passions diverged.

Kid enjoys music and collecting weaponry, cultivating these hobbies even during their gangster days back home. His personal collection of diverse arms filled the ship's armory.

Meanwhile, Kai found solace in reading, immersing himself in books and comics. He even managed to acquire a copy of the renowned 'Sora, Warrior of the Sea,' published in the World Economy News Paper. When not absorbed in these pursuits, he was either training or sleeping, since he likes sleeping a LOT.

"You guys are certainly more battle maniacs and blood thirsty than you look" Bonney noted.

"And you certainly look beautiful even when you're covered in blood" Kai playfully remarked, wiping a speck of blood off her face with his finger. Bonney blushed and averted her gaze, embarrassed by the comment.

"S-Stop saying embarrassing things!" Even though he mostly doesn't mean it, but Kai likes teasing her since she easily gets embarrassed about his comments which is totally out of her usual character of being aggressive temper and acting rude.

"Ah for fuck's sake!" Kid grumbled, irritated by his brother's antics.

"What? You're jealous or something?"

"Don't be ridiculous!"

"Or maybe you want pointers on picking up girls? if that's the case you should've just asked. I'll gladly give you some"

"W-Whatever…let's get the hell out of here, I'm sick of this island" Kid grumbled as he boarded the Victoria Punk, the others following suit.

"Alright, Heat, show me the map and the nearby islands," Kai instructed. Heat promptly brought the map and spoke.

"Torino Island and Briss Kingdom are the closest destinations, reachable in under three days," Heat reported. Kai pondered the options. Torino Island was the place where chopper was sent during the 2 years time skip, but Briss Kingdom, he couldn't recall any details about it though the name sounded pretty familiar.

"I sent some boys to gather information while we trained here. A rumor suggests someone recently acquired a map to Captain Blackthorn's treasure" Killer offered, stepping closer to examine the map.

"I totally forgot about that, if what you said is true then that save us the trouble of looking for it"

"It's the Silver Rain Pirates, led by 'Silver Rain' Seth Williams a pirate worth 24 million Berries…According to the info I got, he was recently seen in Centaurea Island but because of an ongoing battle raged by the Revolutionary Army for its control, he was forced to leave…" Killer stated, while pointing with his finger at Centaurea Island on the map before he moved his finger to another island "Based on that, the nearest and the most likely place to be his next destination is…"

"…Briss Kingdom"

"Alright its set then, where're hunting down this guy and claiming that treasure for ourselves!"
