Chapter 22
Title: The No Named Man...

-?????? ????? POV-
I look at the barren land around me as I sit down on the shores of this forsaken island. The island was surrounded by unique currents that captured anyone who entered it and trapped them in this hellish island.
I never knew anything in comparison, I continue writing on my bool all of my thoughts.
This island is located in East Blue and it's called Sixis Island.
*growl* My stomach makes a growling sound and I have to close the book I am writing on. I am currently too hungry to even think straight.
There is no fruit, no animals, and not even fish swam to the shore of this island. Ahhh… what a shame that I will die like this. I never got to see the places in the Grand Line, like Little Garden, the place where giants live and have been sighted fighting. I don't know if that is true, but this would definitely be fun writing.
I want to write my own adventure book that will shake the world. That was… no, it still is my dream.
But now… I guess I will never write anything that will shake the world, I don't even have a pen name. I gave up my real name when I set sail, but now, I guess I will just die as a nameless man.
….
Another day passes like that as I lay down on the sandy shores of Sixis Island. I guess that most men fail in their journeys and die full of regrets… just like I am.
*sigh* I guess… I can sleep just a little…

Another day passes by and I can't help but contemplate some things. As a medical student with bad grades, I didn't really have anything going for me.
That is what I raise my head up and look at the sea in front of me. Usually, I would lie back down, but this time something amazing surprised me.
There was a giant ship with a pirate flag of a skull wearing an orange hat which had two pins, one had a happy look and the other had a sad look.
I smile at this, I can't help it, I am beyond excited. I don't even care that they are pirates, this is it to me. This is my chance to escape this hell hole.
I get up and for a split second, I forget my hunger as I wave my arms towards the ship and yell out loudly. "HEY!!! Over here!"
I don't know if they heard me, but they still sail towards me. Tears come out of my eyes as I see this. I can't help it, I thought I was going to die here as nothing without achieving anything.

-Ace POV-
I look at the island in front of me and smile, this should be Sixis Island, the place where the Flame-Flame Fruit is. I look at Sabo as I think of the fruit, he is strong, but with the fruit, he will become even stronger.
The Flame-Flame Fruit is amazing, definitely worth getting it for Sabo. Hopefully, there is another live person on this island, so I can get another crew member.
I look at the currents and smile, suddenly getting an idea. "Oy! Sabo, throw me some chains."
"Hm?" Sabo is confused by this as he is just laying atop Cat's soft fur. But he doesn't question my strange request as he just goes and gets me a chain from the storeroom.

When he brings me the chain, I tie it up to the head of the ship and tie the other side of the chain around my waist.
Sabo looks at me curiously. I look at him with a serious look on my face and say. "I am gonna prove that I am stronger than that wave."
Sabo is even more confused as I say that, well it's actually for a little training, but I said it like that because it's funnier to see how Sabo reacts to this.
He has a wide eyes look on his face and he says. *sigh* "You know what… whatever… I don't care anymore."
I nod at that, throw my sword on the ground, and say. "Here comes my legendary battle." As I jump off the deck.
Splash!
As soon as I land on the water, I can feel the cold liquid around me. I twist my body underwater and swim around. I had pulled up the sails before I jumped overboard. So there is no wind to help me as I pull the ship along.
I am gonna look cool as fu*k in front of Masked Deuce. First impressions are the most important in situations like these.

-General POV-
As the pirate ship gets closer, the no-named man looks at it strangely as it lowers down its sails but it still keeps moving.
"Hm? How is it doing that?" Questions the no-named man.
But as the ship gets closer and closer, it smashes against the waves but it doesn't seem to lose its momentum at all. In fact it even seemed to move faster as it got closer to the island.
..
It takes quite a bit as the ship gets closer for the no-named man to see that a human is actually swimming and dragging the ship along.
"What?!!" Exclaims the man in surprise, never having seen something like this. "How is that possible?!!"
He knows that there is no way a human should have that type of power. Because even if he had bad grades in medical school, he still knew the basics of anatomy.
…
Ace finally gets close enough and lands on the shore just by swimming. The man doesn't say anything to the sight in front of him, a tall teenager is just casually dragging the ship by a chain like it is nothing.
The man can't say anything as he sees Ace do this, it seems to him like something straight out of a fairy tale.
Ace drags his ship straight to the shore, and that is when he looks at the man with slicked back, light blue hair, and a dark blue mask around his eyes.
"Oh, hello there." Greets Ace politely. "Didn't know that there were inhabitants on this island."
The man looks at Ace with a look of wonder still on his face.
Ace sees that the man isn't answering, so he just shrugs and calls out to his friend. "Sabo! Come with me, we are gonna search for treasure on this island."
"Coming~" Says Sabo as he jumps off the ship and in one fellow swoop, he casually lands on the ground. Sabo has a spear in his hand, and on the other hand, he has Ace's sword and hat. He gives Ace his hat and his sword back.
*growl* That is when the masked man's stomach grumbles. Ace stops on his tacks and looks at the man with a calm look on his face…. So he turns around and goes back to his ship.
He cooks the man a simple meal and the no-named man. It is some simple rice with different meat and such things in it.
The man immediately goes and wolfs down the food Ace just prepared for him. His weeks of hunger finally situating himself as he eats.

A/N: Double update today because I couldn't upload yesterday for the daily updates as I should have done since it was in the Top 20… too fast… I didn't expect that, I thought it would take some days at least… my bad on that one...
