Ace then walks back to Portgas Town, he told the people his name because he has 'nothing' to hide. Someone wearing a mask or giving out a fake name will because humans instinctively feel that he has something to hide. Ace's understanding of human psychology is quite broad, he had an ex-girlfriend in his past life that he helped with papers and exams. He was bound to learn many things that looked interesting, like how a person would feel when he killed.
He sighs a little as he walks amongst Gray Terminal.
'As expected, I am nonchalant about it.' Concludes Ace, as he had expected, an organized mind can kill without having a mental breakdown or even feeling guilty about it. 'Well, enough about that, let's see who I need to kill now for some benefits and to make sure that unexpected situation to rise.'
Ace immediately and calmly thought about who he should kill next, of course, one name immediately on the top of his mind. The man is bound to cause problems for him in the future. 'Bluejam…'

So like this, one year passes, Ace becomes seven years old and kills the Bluejam pirates during the year. The way he did so is by spying on them and finding the schedule when they are all together. Since no matter how strong, he isn't bullet-resistant he gathered some people from the town and had them help him kill Bluejam pirates, the combined bounty of the pirates in the crew was over 17,000,000 B and Ace took around 20% of the bounty which was over 3,000,000 B… but while the others were celebrating about such thing, he got the real treasure in this. He robbed them of their treasures, the others were too distracted by the millions they would get and never thought what treasures Bluejam would have from the people he robbed.
During this year, Ace and Sabo world together and robbed a bunch of nobles and rich people in Goa City. Due to the stealing, bounty hunting, and Ace getting money from Portgas Town for the betterment of the city (taxes)... Ace and Sabo had accumulated quite a bit of wealth… though Ace did spend quite a bit off the taxes money to buy raw materials and build some average-sized houses. He wanted to make Portgas town a big thing and then he would get enormous benefits from it. During the last year, the town didn't grow too much, but the quality of life had risen.
Currently Ace and Sabo are both training, Sabo has a boulder on his back and he has half-closed his eyes and sweat on his face. Ace on the other hand is holding a giant boulder, three times the size of the one Sabo is holding, but this still doesn't seem to bother him at all as he jumps around. They are both walking down the mountain and one slip up would put them in a pinch… at least Sabo as Ace seems to be carefree at this.
"Try to keep up Sabo. Hahahaha…" Jokes Ace as he tries to push Sabo harder. He knows just hard one's body can be pushed in this world. 'As long as he trains like this, there will be no downside, actually, his muscles might tighten and he will just be a little taller than others his age.'
Ace can now deduce things like this due to learning medical knowledge from this world.

-Sabo POV-
I look at Ace… damn… how does he have so much energy and he pulls me with him. "Oy! Ace… go slower will you, I feel as if the weight is going to crush me."
I truly do, I have a heavy boulder three times my size on my back I can feel my foot sink on the ground with every step I take. Damn, this is tiring as hell, how can Ace move so easily. He Haki now can even turn dark and he can ram his fist through metal, he has tried teaching me Haki, but I am not sure what I am even looking for. Ace says that one must never doubt when using Hakli, you mustn't be like 'I can't do it' or 'It's not possible' one must have no doubts. Ace had to learn this all by himself, but I still don't get it how to learn such a thing. How can I not doubt myself, like I have to lie to myself?
Ace seems to want to learn something else now called Observation Haki.

I finally arrive at the bottom of the mountain, I know tomorrow morning I will have to take this giant boulder back up. Ace calls these warm up exercises. I can feel a shadow and see Ace standing up and looking down on me with his hands in his pockets.
He smiles at me. "Tired already?"
As he asks that I can see that he doesn't seem tired, well I can't even remember the last time I saw Ace really tired, he always seems to be full of energy and training. Either that or he is using some thick springs as training machines lately. How does he even have time for all of this?
Sometimes I really wonder how he can handle it all of this. He gives it his all in everything he does, he always seems to be rushing at everything. When I ask him about it, he just says that life is too short to waste it on useless things. He has already saved 39,000,000 B on riches about when the time comes for us to start our journey.
Damn, at this rate I won't be able to keep up with him at all, I will be just dead weight to him. I believe that he can actually do it… become the pirate king honestly doesn't seem like an impossible dream for Ace. Well, I am gonna have to step it up then.
"No, I am not tired." I answer him and shakingly get up, my legs shake and when I stand up, I tell him. "C'mon I am ready to assist you in Observation Haki."
He nods and takes out a cloth covering his eyes and he even takes out two earpieces, this way he can't hear as well. In the beginning, he didn't need them, but later on, he could actually tell where I was going to hit just by the sound of the air as my wood sword cut through. Truly something amazing from another's perspective, but it hindered him in learning this other Haki of his.
So, just like what it has become routine now, I go towards the trunk of a tree and pick up the wooden sword that I hide there. I am more accustomed to a spear but it doesn't matter, we won't be sparring.
I pick up the wooden sword and see that Ace sat on the ground cross-legged, I went to hit him, and the hit lands.
Baam!
He winces a little, but that doesn't deter me. I know that Ace can take a lot more pain than this when training. So I change position and attack once more.
Fwosh!
But this time I don't hit, well, this usually happens sometimes, Ace instinctively dodges. I attack him again… and he still dodges once more.
Hm? Twice in a row, well it could be a coincidence, I attack again and…
Baam!
I hit him this time once more.

-Ace POV-
As I feel Sabo hit me in the head, I don't care about it, I can feel it… a turbulent mist like figure behind me. Hmmm… by the intent he is giving, he is going to attack me on the left side of my head, so I dodge there, and then immediately I can see Sabo's 'spirit' try to hit me again immediately.
I see, so he changed pace once more, I dodge this too, next I see that he attempts an overhead strike. Meaning that I can't dodge while sitting down, so I just roll forward and dodge that attack too.
I am on my feet and mention with my hand for him to continue to attack me. This 'sense' of mine feels so weird, it's like a combination of sight, sensation, and even smell. It is truly weird…
