Chapter 101

It doesn't take even three minutes as Mikoto, Ino and the Strawhats reach the capital.

Luffy has a huge smile on his face as this happens. "Whoa!!! This is amazing! Wanna join my crew?"

As he asks that, Mikoto only gently smiles at this. "No thank you. I am already a part of a crew."

Luffy is a little disappointed at that, but Ino on the other hand laughs at this. "Hahahaha…"

Still, though, she is laughing, but a dangerous glint appears on her eyes now that she looked at Luffy. Mikoto notices this and narrows her eyes at Ino, giving her an unspoken message to not do anything.

Ino only scratches the back of her head nervously and has a cute smile on her face. "Tehee~"

In the end, as they are about to forcefully land in Alubarna, Mikoto controls her fruit to slow down the velocity. Though her fruit still has the same attributes of going after a target, she can control things like the velocity of an object she 'throws', so her fruit doesn't seem at all like the same fruit that she got.

In the end, they land safely in the palace and they are surrounded by guards.

"Who are you!!!" Calls out one of the guards, they all have their weapons pointed at us, but then Vivi comes out and looks at the guards.

"Wait! They are my friends, we are here to stop the rebellion!" Announces Vivi, her eyes full of conviction at this. "In five hours the rebels will attack the palace… That must be stopped at all costs."

She then gets the news that her father has been likely kidnapped as he hasn't been seen in a long time.

This makes everyone nervous. But Vivi doesn't let it bother her as she takes charge.

While this was all happening, Mikoto and Ino say some light goodbyes and walk away.

Five hours later and the rebels can be seen on the horizon. Vivi is about to yell at them to stop, but suddenly a cannon rings out from one of the Royal sides as they shoot at the rebels.

That is what all chaos erupts …

Mikoto and Ino have a whole other thing going on as they go towards the yard of the palace and open a secret compartment and open it.

Ino smiles at this. "The memories I got from the king are truly useful. I also know that this is the real deal. This Poneglyph has the coordinates of Pluton, now we just need to get Demon Child, steal her memory and I will learn how to read the Poneglyphs too."

Mikoto nods at her sister's explanation. She was mostly sent here to assist Ino, though her sister is strong, her Memory-Memory Fruit isn't suited for combat at all as it takes too long to activate it.

Mikoto on the other hand is perfect, though her bounty at the moment is only 500,000,000 ß that doesn't mean that she is weak. Well, in comparison to some of her brothers she is kinda weak, but she never compares with her siblings.

They arrive in front of a Poneglyph and Mikoto says. "Let's hide for a little and wait."

As she says that, Ino nods, with her ever-present smile still on her face.

Later on, inside the underground tomb, Robin comes in with the restrained King Cobra. He has blood coming out of him and is sitting on the ground to the side with an arm coming from his back restraining his arms.

Robin immediately goes to read the Poneglyph.

"Did you find anything that you needed?" Asks King Cobra curiously, he was worried that the girl in front of him might actually find Pluton.

That is when another pair of footsteps is heard and Crocodile comes in. He has a little blood coming out of his mouth, but he seemed overall okay.

"Can you read it?" Asks Crocodile, referring to the Poneglyph.

Robin nods. "Yes."

"Then read it out loud." Demand's Crocodile, the smile on his face very evident in his happiness.

"Goxilla conquered and built this country in the year 239…" Reads Robin as she goes along Alabasta's history. "...in the year 269, the Dima family is the strongest..."

Robin continued reading on. But Crocodile was mad at that. "Hey. Hey. Wait. Wait… was THAT what we were looking for?"

Robin looks at Crocodile calmly as his face morphs into an angry scowl.

"I don't give a damn about this country's history! I want to know where the superweapon Pluton is!" Reaves Crocodile.

"There is nothing like that." Says Robin, her face neutral. "... it is just 'History..."

"What?" Asks Crocodile, confused by this outcome. Feeling that all these years he spent in this country were for nothing.

"The word Pluton is nowhere in this Poneglyph." Elaborates Robin as she touches the ancient rock.

"I see… that is pitifully then…" Says Crocodile, veins popping on his forehead. "Although you were such a good partner. I will kill you right here, right now…"

"Wow, now that is a beautiful thing to say." Says a voice suddenly, surprising all of the inhabitants in the room.

They turn to look and they see Mikoto calmly walk towards them. Ino is behind her, with a smile on her face.

Crocodile immediately gets nervous as he sees who they are. 'Sh*t… this is bad… real bad… Jaw has an eye on Pluton too?'

"Now, would you step aside Crocodile?" Asks Mikoto politely. "Don't worry, you will have a painless death for this."

Crocodile gets angry as she says that. Normally he wouldn't care about such things, but his mind is currently in a little turmoil as the weapon that he wants isn't here. "I chose option C… I kill you all here and no one learns anything."

As he says that, the lower part of his body turns into sand and charges towards Mikoto.

Mikoto only snorts at this. "Dumbass…"

Fwish!!!

The next thing Crocodile feels is a fist smash on the top of his skull, obliterating a chunk of it and slamming him on the ground.

BAAAAM!!!

A crater is created where he slams his head. Mikoto still has a calm look on her face. "Sleep for a little but little Crocodile…"

Mikoto's Armament Haki is on a whole different level from Naruto's. She doesn't need the use of her fruit to defeat someone like Crocodile at all.

Next, she appears behind Robin, and with a swift karate chop to her neck. She knocks her out. "Now, you should sleep a little bit too."

Ink smiles at this and goes towards the knocked out Robin laying on the ground. She touches her side of the head, and like a movie film, Robin's memories come out.

Ino skips the memories of her adulthood or very early childhood. She goes towards the memories of Robin's 6th to 8th years of life.

Suddenly the same film appears on Ino's other hand and she closes her eyes as the film flies to her head. She smiles as she opens her eyes and looks at the Poneglyph in front of her.

"Can you read it?" Calmly asks Mikoto.

Ino's smile widens at the question. "Yes…"

AUTHOR NOTE:

Now Jaw has someone who can read the Poneglyphs. Ino is his daughter and someone he trusts. She also won't betray him like Robin did Crocodile...
