15 Unexpected turn of events

Leo shuts the door. " Don't go out ", he warns jack. Seeing his expression Jack want to escape. " They say that Admiral Dragon escaped after getting some confidential matters ".

Jack is shocked to hear that and is dancing inwardly. " They can easily find him right , Marine have their ways ", Leo shook his head hearing it. " For every marine soldier who is above captain , we take their vivre card for safety purpose ".

" He took that and escaped ; we don't know how to find him ", Jack. " No recruit is allowed to go outside ", Leo warns him not to go to rooftop. Jack laughs seeing Leo concerned about him.

Three months have passed since Dragon escaped. As in canon, Akainu took his place. Jack can now understand his resentment to Dragon as he was called substitute behind his back.

He called Jack once to interrogate about dragon. Jack just added fuel to his anger on Dragon. When Akainu asked Jack told him that he talked about you.

Akainu got suspicious but told him to continue. Jack explained to him that his justice is nothing but crime and evil , he doesn't care about civilians in the name of justice. So, Dragon warned him not to follow his steps.

Akainu slammed his fist hearing the explanation. Since akainu is hot headed he bought Jack reason and told him to go.

Jack took the test early , there are not many recruits except Leo with him. Now their real training starts.

Hina saw him as he arrived at training room. Leo is love struck seeing her. Not only him , many recruits fascinate about her.

She really is a beauty even as a teenager. Everyone fight with her to get locked by her devil fruit. Jack smiles, " How is your day, Hina chan ? ", Hina smashed his face as she heard calling her. " Call Hina senior ", Hina kicks him saying. Even Jack is included in them.

After that, Jack and Leo was called by Z. Z told them to sit. " You have completed written exams. From today your real training starts. For the first year, you are only allowed to do training of Rokushiki, marine six powers or enhance your devil fruit powers ",facing Jack.

" Then what about missions ? ", Leo ask Z. "You will go, only after an year . You can come to me if you have any doubts about them ", Z finish by giving them papers about six powers.

Both read them for a while to understand the concept. The most basic requirement for six powers is control over body which is hard to do for anyone.

Jack can grasp the techniques faster than others as he did training in sky island. Leo and Jack asked for some doubts regarding it as Z clarified it patiently.

They started training as per the method. Jack saw Hina talking to a girl whose has purple hair, beside them there a man with pink hair listening to their conversation.

Jack got near Hina to see them. " Jack, these are your seniors by one year. They are Ain, Binz ", Hina introduce them seeing Jack. He introduced himself.

Smoker saw the four and stopped his training. " You must be Jack , I am smoker ", Jack turn his head. Jack see him less bulk than in story. He smiles shake his hand.

" I want to have a spar with you tomorrow ", Smoker leaves. " It seem your luck is bad on the first day ", Hina pats his back as she can't reach his shoulder.

" He is strongest recruit of all ", Ain. " Really, let see ", Jack smile at them . " He is know as white hunter, he also ate logia type devil fruit , Moku - Moku no mi. So the match will be interesting ", Hina.

Every recruit got the wind of spar between the strongest recruit and monster rookie. Yes, Jack got the name after they saw the fight with Dragon. Leo was using this chance to get some money with bets.

Jack saw everyone waiting for him. He see smoker in the middle with the same weapon he carries. " Shall we start ? ", Smoker take the weapon pointing at Jack.

Jack disappear in front , use a flying kick as he appear behind him. Jack want to finish it as soon as possible.

Smoker didn't move as Jack's Kick passes through him. Jack was surprised that Smoker read his move.

" You attack in the same pattern ; you don't have much experience in fighting ", Smoker tell him about his weakness. Jack didn't think that he saw his earlier fight with dragon.

He see a steel staff ask the recruit to give him for a while. Jack is proficient in using staff or spear because of his past life. His dad was a hit man ; he learned how to use every weapon from him.

Jack confronts him using it. He thrusts, stabs but smoker defends himself using his powers. Smoker try to punch him making his arm into smoke but Jack just avoid using his devil fruit ; sometimes rotates the staff to slow the speed.

Its been 2 hours since they started fighting. Evryone is astonished to see them fighting as Smoker was strongest of all.

Smoker use his powers constantly but Jack use them when necessary. Soon his stamina gets depleted. Jack saw that and fight with more aggression.

Jack knocks him out stabbing some vital areas. Some expected this outcome while others are shocked.

" This is reason I told you not to depend on devil fruit powers ", Z remind Smoker as he saw his condition. " Go and Start training ", soon everyone ran from Z.

Z left the ring after glancing at Jack. Jack didn't mind his behavior.

Next day , Smoker took Z advice and started physical training than using his powers. Hina didn't say anything to Jack after seeing the fight. She thought that they would fight equally rather than seeing smoker in that state.

Jack started training marine six powers, Rokushiki. Leo joined him.
