The marine Vice-Admiral, a man of stern countenance and a body hardened by countless battles, led a battalion of over a thousand fresh-faced recruits across the vast expanse of the training field.

Their eyes, filled with a mixture of awe and trepidation, were all drawn upwards, towards the tumultuous sky.

The weather had taken an abrupt turn, the once clear blue canvas now a swirling vortex of dark clouds!

The sudden appearance of a lightning dragon, its form crackling and writhing in the sky, was the spectacle that held their collective attention captive.

"So, everyone was here." The Vice-Admiral, known as Kisho, said as he reached the field. His gaze swept over the scene before him. Borsalino, Sakazuki, and other recruits were perched on a high hill not far away, their faces etched with concern.

In the center of the destroyed field, standing within a deep pit as if he were the eye of this storm, was Zed.

"W-What the hell happened here?!" Kisho's voice echoed across the field, his confusion palpable. Yet, what truly seized his attention, and that of the thousand recruits behind him, was the sky, now a theatre of lightning.

"Admiral Zed!" Kisho called out, his voice barely audible over the rumbling thunder.

Zed turned his head, his eyes meeting Kisho's. He offered no words, only a cold, piercing gaze before returning his attention to the sky.

As Kisho moved to approach Zed, a figure flashed before him, a dazzling light momentarily blinding him.

"Vice-Admiral Kisho, it's better not to go there." Borsalino's voice rang out, his form materializing in front of Kisho.

"What's wrong, Borsalino? What is going on?!" Kisho asked, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"You'll know in a while. Who knows what that guy is planning to do? You'd better retreat with those kids back first. I have a bad feeling about this." Borsalino replied, his gaze fixed on the churning clouds above.

"Boom! Rumble!"

The black clouds roiled, a cacophony of lightning echoing across the field. A bolt of lightning, so powerful it seemed to split the sky, illuminated the darkness, casting an eerie glow over the scene.

"Look quickly, there's something in the clouds!" A recruit, his voice trembling with fear and excitement, pointed towards the sky.

In the moment when the lightning flashed, a long shadow emerged from the clouds, its form monstrous and terrifying.

"Kisho, take the recruits back!" Zed's voice cut through the chaos.

"Ah, yes, sir!" Kisho nodded, his face pale but determined.

"Retreat!" He ordered, his voice carrying over the field.

The recruits, their faces a mix of fear and awe, began to retreat, their eyes never leaving the spectacle in the sky.

"Is he really an Admiral? He seems to be in a bad situation!" A recruit whispered, his voice barely audible over the thunder.

"Shush!" His companion quickly silenced him, his eyes wide with fear.

"Boom!!!"

The sky exploded once more, the power of the lightning so intense it seemed to shake the very earth beneath them.

"Lightning Descending!"

A voice, powerful and commanding, echoed from the clouds. A giant lightning dragon emerged, its form crackling with raw energy. Atop the dragon's head, a young man stood, his body wrapped in lightning!

"Who is that person?!!" A new recruit's voice rang out, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"How is it possible?!" The other recruits echoed, their faces a mirror of shock and awe.

"It's him!" Vice-Admiral Kisho's voice was barely a whisper, his eyes locked onto the figure atop the lightning dragon.

He recognized Brontes, a man he had encountered in the New World. Brontes was one of the three Logia fruit users in the Elite Camp, a Rumble-Rumble Fruit user.

"Boom! Rumble!!"

A massive ball of lightning descended from the sky, its size dwarfing everything beneath it.

Brontes, standing atop the lightning dragon, merged with the beast, the dragon spiraling within the ball, causing the dark blue sphere to shrink.

"Get out of here quickly!" Zed's voice cut through the chaos, his command echoing across the island.

The sight of the dark blue lightning ball sent chills down the spines of everyone on the island. Instinct screamed at them to flee, to escape the impending catastrophe.

"What on earth is that? Is this power a human could have!" The new recruits' voices were filled with terror and awe.

"He's gone crazy!" Borsalino sprinted away, followed closely by Momonga and the others, all of them racing towards the sea. Vice-Admiral Kisho, his face pale, led the new recruits in their retreat.

As the lightning ball descended, Kisho felt a cold dread seep into his bones. Was this the power of a mere marine recruit? The strength displayed was not inferior to his own. Were all Logia fruit users this terrifying?!

"Boom!!! Rumble!!!"

The lightning ball exploded, revealing a maelstrom of flashing lightning within. The lightning dragon continued to compress the ball from the inside, the energy within building to a terrifying crescendo.

Finally, only Zed remained on the island. Everyone else had fled to the sea, boarding the warships and watching the spectacle from a safe distance.

"Vice Admiral, who is that person? Is he an enemy?" A new recruit asked Kisho, his voice trembling.

"No, he's not an enemy. He's a recruit, just like you, but he's about to graduate from here." Kisho replied, his gaze never leaving the scene unfolding on the island.

"But why does he fight with Admiral Zed so desperately?" The recruit asked, his eyes wide with confusion.

"This..." Kisho hesitated, unsure of how to answer.

"Because we are undergoing the final assessment. The opponent is Instructor Zed, but we all lost. Only he is still fighting with Instructor Zed. This is probably his last move." A veteran marine from the Elite Camp explained.

"Assessment? This is just an assessment? Are you joking? They're going to destroy the island!" Kisho exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief.

"Only by giving it your all is it a real assessment. Don't worry, Admiral Zed won't have any problems. The admiral is very strong, but that guy Brontes... he takes this assessment very seriously." The veteran replied, shaking his head.

Finally, the dark blue ball fell. But in mid-air, Zed flew up, his right arm raised, covered with Armament Haki. His entire body was enveloped in the same protective coating.

"Boom!! Rumble!!"

Zed's punch connected with the lightning ball.

"Admiral Zed!" Kisho's voice was a strangled cry, his eyes wide with shock.

The lightning ball cracked like an egg hitting the ground, countless fissures spreading across its surface. Then, it exploded, revealing a storm of lightning clouds within. In an instant, all the lightning erupted, countless bolts striking the ground. It was a scene reminiscent of Raijin Island in the New World, with tens of thousands of lightning bolts exploding across the island.

The entire island was engulfed in a blinding light, a spectacle so intense that the spectators could neither see nor hear anything beyond the deafening roar of the lightning.

The onslaught was swift, a momentary explosion of raw power that left the island in ruins. Fires raged across the landscape, blackened scars from the lightning strikes marring the ground.

"Boom!!!"

Life on the island seemed to have been extinguished, the once bustling buildings now stood silent and damaged. Roofs had been pierced, walls scorched, but the lightning's attack had been dispersed, sparing most structures from complete destruction.

"That was too terrifying!" The words echoed among the onlookers, their faces pale with shock.

They were acutely aware of their narrow escape. Had they not fled in time, they would have been caught in the devastating attack.

Just when they thought the spectacle was over, a flash of light erupted from the clouds, and a lightning dragon descended with a roar.

"Boom!! Rumble!!"

A charred figure shot up from the ground, colliding with the lightning dragon in a clash of titanic forces.

"Boom!!!"

With a thunderous crash, something was sent hurtling from the sky, crashing down onto the island. The charred figure remained suspended in the air, the lightning dragon vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.

"It's finally over." Borsalino sighed, relief washing over him. The tension that had gripped the onlookers eased, their breaths coming out in shaky exhales.
