7 Sulong

Th crew arrived at Rainbase, Thirteen looked around, taking in all the sights, he was a bit confused that there were so many attractions here. Luffy and Usopp took off to get a drink of water and the rest walked the streets, Thirteen was walking around and looking around when Luffy and Usopp came back saying "We need to run! Where's Crocodile?" Vivi pointed to the huge building with a Bananawani on the roof. Luffy nodded and said "I'll meet you there." and started running towards it.

The rest of the crew separated, leaving Thirteen by himself, he scratched his head and walked in another direction. He was walking on the streets and ran into the girl with glasses from Loguetown, she saw him and froze, Thirteen said "Hello." as he walked past her, she grit her teeth and said "Stop! You're under arrest!" Thirteen was confused and said "You're a marine?" she blinked and said "Why else would I stop you at Loguetown?" Thirteen said "I thought you liked Zoro." as he left.

Thirteen kept walking and looking around him, he thought the city was pretty extravagant, there were so many things for a city in the middle of the desert. He bumped into Sanji, who turned around and said "Hey! I found some Baroque Works guys, come with me!" Thirteen nodded and followed him. The duo came across a bunch of goons with a small snail, Thirteen left multiple images of himself and killed them all.

Sanji grinned and said "Perfect! Let's call Crocodile." Thirteen said "Why are we calling Crocodile?" Sanji chuckled and said "I just want to fuck with him." Thirteen scratched his head and nodded as Sanji unhooked the snail and said "Damn I don't know his number! Can you go get me a live grunt?" Thirteen nodded and disappeared only to reappear with a goon in his hands, Sanji grinned and said "Hey you! What's your boss' number?"

The goon stuttered out a number and Sanji called it, he heard a smooth voice come over and say "Hello?" Sanji swooned and Thirteen said "Hello Miss All Sunday." Miss All Sunday said "Hello, how are you?" Thirteen said "I'm okay, yourself?" she said "Not too bad, though your crew is in a cage right now." Thirteen nodded and said "Okay, i'm coming." as he turned around. Sanji snapped "Oi Tiger! Hold on a minute! Hello, your voice soothes my soul through the phone, may I speak to your boss?"

Miss All Sunday giggled and said "Sure." a few seconds later another voice was heard "Who is this?" Sanji said "I remember you. Welcome to Shitty Restaurant." Crocodile grit his teeth and said "You're the one from little garden! Who are you!" Sanji said "Mr. Prince and.." Thirteen said "The Reaper." Sanji grinned and said "The Reaper. I heard you have the rest of your crew?" Crocodile sneered and said "That's right!" several other voices were heard "Mr. Prince, Reaper come save us!"

Thirteen picked up a gun and shot it in the air, Sanji hissed in 'pain' and Thirteen pointed the gun at the goon's head and pointed his hand to the phone. The goon said "I got them boss!" Crocodile said "Good where are you right now?" The goon said "Rainbar." Crocodile said "I'll be right there." and hung up.

Sanji grinned and said "Perfect, what an idiot." Thirteen pulled the trigger and blew the goons brains out, before turning around and aiming at the goons running towards them. Thirteen pulled the trigger and killed several goons before running out of bullets, Sanji sighed and said "Can't you leave some of them for me?" Thirteen blinked and said "You want to fight?" Sanji said "Sometimes. Anyways let's go to the casino." before walking off, Thirteen followed him and picked up another gun before shooting at the goons that were chasing them. Sanji watched him out of the corner of his eye and saw Thirteen's eyes flash red for a brief moment, they were filled with unconscious excitement, Sanji frowned and continued to the casino.

The duo reached the room where the crew was locked up and Sanji kicked a Bananawani away before it could snap it's jaws at Vivi. Thirteen jumped on top of a Bananawani and punched right through it's skull before jumping to another one and sinking his fang's into it's neck and ripping a chunk out and punching into the wound, twinkling his hand.

Sanji took care of the other two and found a wax ball inside one of them, the wax ball opened and Mr.3 popped out saying "I'm free!" he turned around and saw Thirteen staring at him while licking the Bananawani blood off his fingers. Mr.3 paled and said "I was captured and brought here!" Thirteen ripped a chunk of flesh off the Bananawani he was sitting on and bit into it as Mr.3 shivered in fear.

Sanji frowned and said "Thirteen, eat cooked food. And you, open the cage." Mr.3 nodded fearfully and unlocked the cage as water poured into the room, Sanji kicked Mr.3 unconscious and left him on a floating desk as the rest of the crew escaped the flooding room. Thirteen landed on the ground and stared at Smoker, he was confused, was Smoker a good marine, or a bad one. He didn't really know, he knew that Smoker wasn't a bad person, he just had a job to do, he walked over and slammed on Smoker's chest causing Smoker to cough out water and wake up.

Smoker saw Thirteen standing over him and said "Kill me?" Thirteen shook his head and pointed to his chest, Smoker looked down and saw a bloody hand print and said "Why did you save me?" Zoro said "Captain's orders. Thirteen just hit the water out of you." Thirteen stretched his hand out and Smoker grabbed it, Thirteen pulled him up to his feet and Luffy chuckled "I like you Smokey! You're a pretty good guy! Shishishishi!" Smoker sighed and rubbed his temples as he said "Go. I won't chase you this time. We have bigger things to worry about." Luffy grinned and the crew left, Thirteen looked at Smoker for a moment before saying "Don't die." and leaving. Smoker watched him go and mumbled "Yea you neither kid."

The crew reached the desert and a giant crab came running at them, Chopper popped out from the top and said "Hey guys! Hop on!" the crew got on and the crab started shuffling away, Thirteen was sitting next to Vivi as she was talking about something to him, he wasn't really listening but he felt it was a nice thing to do, so he pretended to listen. Vivi finished and said "Do you think I can save them?" Thirteen said "You're just a single person. There's no guarantee they will listen to you." Vivi sighed and was about to say something else when Thirteen pushed her out of the way and got impaled by a golden hook.

Vivi looked and saw the golden hook sticking out of Thirteen's side and paled "Thirteen are you okay?!" Thirteen nodded and tightened his muscles, not letting the hook escape. He felt the hook loosen before sand started gathering, he was alarmed and jumped off the crab before speeding off towards Rainbase. The crew watched him go in shock and Luffy said "Go to Alubarna." before jumping off and following after him, Zoro and Sanji nodded and said "Keep going."

Thirteen was standing in front of Crocodile, who materialized from his hook. He ripped the hook out and Thirteen's wound was slightly purple, Crocodile smirked and said "Seems I caught a cat." Thirteen grunted and tightened his muscles closing the wound before searing it shut. His fists were covered in blood and he turned around and said "Actually you caught a tiger." before he pounched on Crocodile and punched him in the face, sending him flying.

Crocodile got up and touched his face, he looked at Thirteen's hands and said "Hmm, seems you hit me with your bloody hands... No matter i'll kill you the normal way." he shot forward and swiped his hook at Thirteen's head, his hook went right through Thirteen's head. Crocodile frowned and turned around to a punch hitting him right in the stomach, Thirteen twinkled his hand and punched through Crocodile, blasting sand everywhere. He jumped back and said "No powers." before shooting towards Crocodile again.

Crocodile caught his fist and kneed him in the stomach, Thirteen tightened his abs to take the blow and punched at Crocodile with his other fist. They hit each other at the same time, Crocodile took a few steps back and Thirteen stayed still but coughed up a mouthful of blood, he wiped his knuckles over the blood and charged at Crocodile again, using his new move.

He instantly appeared in front of Crocodile and punched him in the stomach before flashing behind him and punching his back, he flashed again and uppercut Crocodile right in the chin, sending Crocodile up into the air. Thirteen jumped into the air and slammed his fight down on Crocodile's chest, slamming him into the ground, Thirteen landed on the ground and started breathing heavy. Crocodile got up and spit out some blood, he had cuts and bruises on his face and his suit was torn and had holes in it with blood flowing from his wounds as he laughed "The poison's finally taking effect." he walked over and Thirteen fell to one knee.

Crocodile loomed over him and said "A real shame you're going to die here, would've been nice to keep you as a pet." as he lifted his hook and slashed down, but his hook was kicked away. Luffy stood in front of Thirteen and said "Don't touch my crew." Crocodile jumped back and sneered "Just a kitty, don't be so serious." Luffy glared at him and said "Thirteen are you okay?" Thirteen said "Come here." Luffy turned around and Thirteen said "Give me your hands." Luffy was confused and put his hands in front of Thirteen, who coughed up a mouthful of blood on Luffy's hands and said "You can only hit him like this. I guess water works too." as he collapsed.

Luffy looked at his hands and at the collapsed Thirteen and clenched his fists as he said "Thanks Thirteen. I'll get him." he shot forward and punched Crocodile right in the gut, Thirteen opened his eyes and watched before a small vial moved along the sand and rolled right in front of him. A mouth appeared and said "Cure for the poison." Thirteen didn't really have anoy other options at this point so he opened the vial and drank it all before passing out saying "Thanks." the mouth smiled before disappearing.

A while later

Thirteen woke up and saw the ground, he looked up and noticed he was flying through the air, he looked to his side and saw Luffy with a big barrel of water. Thirteen said "Where are we?" Luffy said "We're going to the Palace. Croc's there, I'm going to kick his ass." Thirteen said "What happened before?" Luffy said "He beat me when your blood dried, but this time I'll get him for sure." Thirteen nodded and looked up at the bird man that was carrying them and said "Who are you?" the man said "Pell, guardian of Alabasta." Thirteen nodded and Pell flew them towards Alubarna.

The trio reached the Palace and Crocodile was nowhere to be seen, only Vivi was there. Pell landed on the ground and Luffy said "Where's Croc?" Vivi said "He's in the tomb." as she pointed to a stair case, Luffy nodded and ran towards it saying "Thirteen protect Vivi." Thirteen nodded and walked towards Vivi before standing right next to her.

Vivi looked up and said "Thank you for before Thirteen." Thirteen nodded and said "No problem. Is White still with you?" Vivi nodded and White popped out of her collar, waving at Thirteen, who said "Stay with her from now on." Vivi said "But didn't you-" Thirteen cut her off and said "I do but it's too dangerous for him. Keep him with you, one day he'll be strong enough to protect you." Vivi nodded and smiled before realizing why she was sitting here alone saying "Crocodile said that there's a bomb in town! We have to find it before it blows up!" Thirteen nodded and said "Stay here." he turned to Pell and said "Protect her." before shooting off in a random direction.

Thirteen was jumping off buildings and searching the city, he saw the rest of the crew and focused on his hearing, he heard a bunch of swords clashing, yelling, gunshots, and a faint ticking. He tried focusing on the ticking but couldn't over the other noises. He sighed and threw a shooting star right into the middle of the battlefield, causing a huge explosion and quieting everyone down for a few seconds as he focused on the ticking, he found the sound and followed it to a clock tower.

He punched through the clock and ripped it off the building, revealing a cannon and a few people a woman with a frog hat said "Who are you-ribbit" Thirteen said "You are?" The woman said "Miss Father's Day!" Thirteen nodded and plunged his arm through her chest and killed her as he said "I don't like frogs." before taking his arm back, he turned to a man with '7's all over him and appeared in front of him, he stuck both his hands in the man's chest before ripping him in half.

If any of the crew were here, they would be shocked. Thirteen's eyes were flashing red and he had a blood thirsty grin on his face, he turned his head and looked at the rest of the goons, who were throwing up and scared silly, he went back to normal and picked up a gun and killed them all. Thirteen frowned and walked over to the cannon and pulled out the bomb, he noticed there was a timer on it, he punched through a wall and sped off out of Alubarna, leaving after images as he left.

Thirteen used 100% and got far enough from Alubarna, he looked at the timer and saw it said '00:00.5' on it, he grabbed the bomb and threw it as hard as he could into the air before flashing back to Alubarna, leaving an explosion behind him as he traveled back.

Meanwhile

The crew found out the bomb was most likely in the clock tower finally arrived at the top and saw the carnage that was left behind. Zoro walked up to the man with '7's on his body and said "I think there's something wrong with Thirteen." Sanji nodded and said "I noticed too, on our way to the casino his eyes flashed red for a brief moment as he killed the goons." Nami said "Let's calm down here. You don't think he's killing because he likes it do you?" Zoro frowned and said "I don't think so. I think he isn't aware of it." Zoro pointed a katana at the woman with a frog hat and said "I think when he got here, he killed her first. Then he unconsciously triggered something in him and ripped this guy in half. Then he got himself back under control and just shot the rest." he was silent for a few seconds before saying "Do you guys remember what he asked Ace?"

The crew nodded and Nami said "There's a voice that distracts him every time he tries to get Haki." Zoro nodded and said "You might not have seen it but Ace was alarmed. He didn't show it but his pupils shrank. Also.." he explained what he heard before Ace left and finished by saying "Something is wrong with Thirteen. It feels like he's keeping something inside and stopping it from coming out, maybe he can keep it down for now but he can't do it forever. Every time he kills he subconsciously gets into the spot where the most amount of blood will splash onto him, I noticed he gets a little faster and strong the more blood soaks him." The crew was silent and Nami said "What are we supposed to do? Abandon him?!"

Zoro sighed and said "No, but we have to keep and eye on him. He won't hurt us when he's in control, but if he looses it... Nobody knows for sure." Sanji sighed and exhaled a mouthful of smoke as a huge explosion went off in the distance. Zoro turned and said "Do not be scared of him. He's still Thirteen, just he has issues he has to deal with. We can help him." the rest nodded and Zoro said "Usopp especially you. He can hear anything from anywhere on the Merry with his ears. Understand what I mean?" Usopp nodded seriously and said "I get it." Zoro nodded and said "Good. He should be back by now." as if on cue Thirteen appeared in front of them and said "Hey. I took care of the bomb." Zoro chuckled and said "I can see that." Thirteen waved his tail slightly and said "Where's Luffy? The sun's going down soon." The crew shrugged and Thirteen nodded and looked into the sky.

Thirteen saw a full moon and snapped "GO GET SMOKER! RIGHT NOW!" the crew was confused and Thirteen covered his eyes and said "Get Smoker tell him to come outside the city. Fast." as he ran and jumped out towards the desert. Zoro frowned and said "I'll go get him. He owes me a favor anyways." as he ran away to go get Smoker, leaving the rest of the crew confused, Sanji said "Let's go see what happened." the rest nodded and they went towards Thirteen.

Zoro found Smoker and slashed into a building to get his attention, Smoker looked over and Zoro tilted his head towards an alley before walking in himself. Smoker followed him and said "What." Zoro said "Thirteen told me to come get you. He was really serious I think there's a problem." Smoker said "That's none of my business." Zoro said "It will be if he loses control and kills everybody here." before running off, Smoker watched him before gritting his teeth and following him. The duo reached the outskirts and saw Thirteen staring at the moon. Smoker frowned and said "What did you need me fo-"

Thirteen let out an extremely loud bestial tiger roar int the air as his body changed. Zoro and Smoker's pupils shrank, and Smoker said "You better get somewhere far away kid. I hope he doesn't have Haki yet.." Zoro said "I'm staying. If this happens when you're not around I'm fucked." Smoker chuckled and said "Prepare yourself to die then." as he took out his jutte and looked at Thirteen.

Thirteen was growling as he turned around. He was 13 ft tall, his ears we bigger and his hair was extremely long with more black streaks, it reached his tail. His tail got longer too around 7ft long as it dragged on the sand. His shirt exploded and revealed his brand with his tattoo on top of black streaks, he had white fur with black streaks on his arms and sharp claws that resembled hands. He had fur on his legs too and his legs resembled tiger hind legs and had sharp paw-like feet at the bottom. Thirteen roared and bared his fangs, he was even more muscular than normal, his eyes were red instead of blue and his scars formed into actual whiskers and black streaks poked out onto his cheeks. He crouched and put his hands on the sand and growled menacingly at the duo.

The crew watched from the top of a building and were shocked, Smoker readied his Jutte and said "Get ready kid. This is gonna be a tough one." Zoro grinned and said "I like challenges." as Thirteen shot forwards and reappeared in front of Smoker, swiping his claws at him but went right through him. Thirteen growled and kicked the ground before shooting at Zoro, and punching right towards his head, Zoro held up his swords and blocked his strike while flying back, he flipped in the air and landed on his feet as Thirteen appeared right in front of him and kneed him in the stomach, sending him in the air.

Smoker intervened and punched Thirteen in the side, sending him flying into a wall. Thirteen got up and charged at Smoker while Throwing a punch at the ground creating a pit, causing Smoker to fall in and get covered in sand, Smoker cursed and dug his way out. Thirteen looked up at Zoro and charged at him swiping his claws, Zoro blocked his claws and pushed him back, but Thirteen kicked him in his side, sending him flying into a building.

Thirteen charged after him, but was stopped his Sanji kicking him and forcing him back, Thirteen back flipped and landed on all fours as he roared, Sanji exhaled a mouthful of mouth and said "Sun's getting real low big guy." Thirteen growled and pounced on him swiping his claws at him, Sanji kicked towards his claws and they separated again, Usopp shot his slingshot at Thirteen and Chopper transformed into heavy point and punched at Thirteen.

Zoro, Smoker, and Sanji got up and all attacked Thirteen at the same time. Thirteen roared to the sky and caught Chopper's fist before kneeing him in the stomach and throwing him at Usopp, sending them both flying. He ducked under Sanji's kick and whipped his tail forwards catching his leg as he swung Sanji around into Zoro and charged through Smoker, grabbing his Jutte and stabbing it at him.

Smoker was alarmed and dodged out of the way. Thirteen swung the Jutte like a bat and hit Smoker sending him flying, before throwing the Jutte at him, forcing Smoker to dodge and smash into a building with his Jutte sticking out of the wall halfway. Smoker whistled and said "That was a close one." Thirteen roared and charged after the rest, when Nami stepped in his way and said "Thirteen! Control yourself!" he stopped right in front of her and loomed above her, saliva dripping from his fangs as he growled.

Nami looked up at him and stared in his eyes as she said "Calm down." and smiled before caressing his fur. Thirteen shook slightly before backing away slowly, his eyes flashing between red and blue before completely filling up with red as he roared viciously and stared at the moon and raised his claw to slash down but Smoker tackled him to the ground and held his arms as he shouted "Get his legs and tail! I'm gonna try to knock him out!" the rest nodded and pinned down his legs and tail.

Thirteen roared and struggled wildly, Nami came in front of him and rubbed his ears as she said "It's okay. Don't worry." he struggled a little less but still growled, Nami rubbed his ears and smiled as he quieted down and Smoker finally managed to knock him out. Smoker let out a breath and said "His bounty is shooting up for sure." the rest of the crew chuckled and Smoker said "Has this happened before?" Zoro shook his head and said "No, though it IS the first time it's been a full moon since we started."

Smoker rubbed his chin and said "I see.. I think it might be a Mink thing then.. Either way, you should ask him what he did before when he turned." the crew nodded and a group of marines showed up with the woman in glasses, Smoker looked up and said "What is it Tashigi." Tashigi said "Smoker-san, what was that?" one of the marines was holding a snail and said "I got a picture." Smoker said "It was the 'God of Slaughter'. We had a bit of a hiccup. What are you doing here instead of calming down the rebellion?" Tashigi gulped and said "That was him?! And Crocodile was defeated by Straw Hat and we have him in our custody. Smoker-san are we going too.." she made a capture signal and Smoker shook his head and said "They just saved this country AND this guy.." he pointed at Thirteen, who was back to normal now, and said "Saved the citizens by bringing the bomb out of the city. Which was supposed to be our job, I think they get a pass this time."

The crew took the hint and Zoro grabbed Thirteen and threw him on his shoulders before saying "Thanks for the help." and left with the rest of the crew. Smoker watched him go and returned to his marine group, one of the marines said "You're going to let that half-breed go?" another one said "We can capture him and bring him back to his owner. I bet we'd get a nice reward." Smoker stopped and said "You think so? Who else agrees with them?" several other marines in the group spoke up and agreed excitedly saying "Maybe a promotion! Or a bonus!"

Smoker nodded and said "Tashigi, and the rest of you who don't agree. Take the ones who just agreed and the original two and lock them up. Their marine careers are over." as he walked away, Tashigi and the rest immediately pinned the group down and cuffed them all before bringing them towards Smoker. Tashigi caught up and said "What was that Smoker-san?" Smoker said "I won't have any garbage on my marine squad. If I had the choice I would send them all to prison myself."

Tashigi was stunned and said "Why?" Smoker explained his conversation from the bar in Loguetown and said "You think that's a way to treat a person, or a child?" Tashigi was shocked and said "That's awful!" Smoker nodded and said "He's had enough of that, when I capture him I will send him to Impel Down myself. If they force me to send him back, i'll just release him." Tashigi said "You'll get into trouble for that Smoker-san." Smoker said "I won't become a worthless scumbag because someone told me to be like that. I'll just go be a pirate, I couldn't care less. I'm not a slave trader." as he led the marines back to their ships.

The crew dragged Thirteen into the city and came across Vivi, who had White sleeping on her head. Vivi said "What happened to you all?" they chuckled and Zoro said "Might've had a run in with a beast. Nothing we can't handle." Nami rolled her eyes and said "Says the guy who was getting thrown around like a rag doll." Zoro grit his teeth and said "I'd like to see you try! This guy's a monster!" Chopper said "That's for sure! But.. HE WAS ALSO SUPER COOL!" he made exaggerated gestures and said "Did you see him?! He was super fast! Then he growled and roared and Usopp was like 'My too-scared-to-fight-itis is acting up' and then Thirteen was like boom! Bang!" as he rolled around making sound effects and continued "Then he threw Sanji into Zoro and was like.." Chopper did his best Thirteen impression and said "Fools I am Tiger man! and then beat up Smoker with his Jutte! And and and.. WOW!" as he passed out.

Vivi was dumbfounded and poked Chopper as she said "What was that about?" Nami giggled as the rest of the crew grit their teeth and she said "I guess he's a big fan." Sanji picked Chopper up by the horn and dragged him along grumbling "Damn animals..." as the group walked towards the palace. Vivi followed along still confused as to what happened.

A while later

The crew was in a medical room in the palace, only Thirteen and Luffy were sleeping. Zoro looked at the two and said "All of you come here. We need to talk." the rest of the crew sat at a table and Zoro said "If it wasn't obvious to you already, this is a problem." the rest were silent and Zoro continued "Thirteen being as dangerous as he is could be fatal to us specifically. I don't know how often this happens but it's still a problem." Nami said "Yeah but we can just stop him again." Sanji said "That was pure luck. If Smoker didn't stop him at that moment we would've been carrying Nami ribbons." Nami was silent and Zoro nodded and said "I'm not saying we leave him. Actually I mean the opposite."

The rest were confused, Sanji had an idea what he was about to say but kept silent. Zoro continued "Obviously we each had our own fights against Baroque works and were tired from those. BUT as of right now me and the cook can barely hold him back if that happens again. The only one who can stop him may be Luffy. That being said we can't count on Luffy all the time, we're part of the crew as well. We need to all get stronger, or else we'll just hold the two of them back." he paused and let the information sink in before continuing "I'm sure you all know deep down that we're no where near strong enough to compete with the other two." the rest nodded and Zoro said "I'm not saying that you all have to be as strong as Thirteen and Luffy, but we can't be far behind either. I'm sure you don't want to be protected all the time."

Nami sighed and said "How are we supposed to get anywhere near the 4 of you? You're all monsters. Chopper is the strongest of our trio, and me and Usopp are more support." Zoro said "I understand that. Like I said you don't have to be as strong as us but we all need to get stronger to at least be able to put Thirteen down together. You see how hard Thirteen trains? He does that everyday, I've even seen him add reps every week or so. I think that he would add more weight if we had them. What I'm trying to say is that he works on himself everyday, i'm sure you know why. I don't know about you but I don't like being protected by someone else all the time."

The crew was silent and Chopper said "So we should train with you both?" Nami frowned, she had seen them train before, it was super intense and she didn't want to get ugly muscles. Zoro said "No, you can do your own things. Nami and Usopp don't need to be physically strong, but you, Sanji, and me do. All i'm saying is find a way to make yourself stronger or else we might not have a place on this crew anymore." the crew nodded seriously and Zoro smirked and said "Maybe you can all graduate from the weakling trio to the mediocre trio."

The rest chuckled and Zoro added "Ussop, I want you to see if you can make a key for the cuffs in Thirteen's room. They could be useful for training." Usopp nodded and sighed "Would be nice to have that wax guy's powers.." the rest chuckled and went off to think about how to make themselves stronger as Luffy and Thirteen slept.

A few days later

Thirteen woke up and saw that he was wrapped in bandages, he sighed and got up out of bed, he noticed there was no one else in the room with him. He frowned and walked outside the room and bumped into Vivi, who was coming to check up on him. Vivi rubbed her forehead and smiled "Hey! You're awake!" Thirteen nodded and said "Where's everyone else?" Vivi said "Eating in the banquet hall. Come i'll bring you." Thirteen looked around and saw all the white walls and frowned before saying "I'll eat somewhere else. I don't like this place." Vivi said "But we already made all the food." Thirteen walked away and said "I'm not staying in these white walls." Vivi looked around and frowned as she said "I'll come with you!" Thirteen waved his hand over his shoulder and left the palace.

Thirteen was walking on the streets and looking for somewhere to eat. He saw a few restaurants but kept walking he turned his head and saw a certain bar, he turned and walked inside. He sat down at the bar and said "Rum, two glasses." the bartender gave it to him and he paid for it. Thirteen filled both glasses and slid one next to him as he said "Thanks for the help." Smoker grabbed the glass and drank from it before he said "That was quite the transformation." Thirteen said "It happens every time I look at a full moon. I don't know what happens or how I look like." as he drank from his glass. Smoker chuckled and said "You'll see it soon enough."

Thirteen said "One of your guys took a picture?" Smoker grit his teeth and said "A 'marine' took a picture. We had a couple staff cuts recently. I didn't want garbage on my squad." Thirteen said "Because of me?" Smoker finished his cup and said "Exactly what your thinking of. I won't have any of that, so I discharged them all. I'm going to send them back to HQ, I don't think anything will happen though. They might be sent to a different squad." Thirteen filled his cup and said "Thanks." Smoker grunted and said "I don't want them around me. It's not about you. I will still catch you, maybe not today but one day." Thirteen smile and said "Good luck." as he patted Smoker's shoulder and left saying "Keep the bottle." Smoker grumbled and poured another glass.

Thirteen walked into a restaurant and sat down before eating, he turned his head and saw Vivi walking up to him, she stopped in front of him and said "I said I was coming with you!" Thirteen pointed to the seat across from him and said "So sit." Vivi sat down and said "Where did you go before?" Thirteen said "A bar." Vivi said "It's 8 in the morning. You went to a bar?!" Thirteen nodded and started eating as Vivi rubbed her forehead and said "You shouldn't drink so early. You're gonna get sick." Thirteen was confused and said "I can't get sick anymore." Vivi was really frustrated and wanted to slap him but she took a breath and said "It's still not good." Thirteen nodded and said "Ok." Vivi sighed and started eating as well.

A while later

Thirteen ripped his bandages off and threw them in the trash as they were walking down the streets, leaving him bare chested. Vivi said "What are you doing?! We're in the middle of the street!" Thirteen frowned and said "It's hot. The bandages were in the way." Vivi sighed and said "Alright. Come to the palace with me. The rest of the crew is waiting for you." Thirteen nodded and the duo returned to the palace.

Thirteen and Vivi joined back with the crew and Luffy said "Hey! We need to go!" Thirteen nodded and did a 180 and walked away, Vivi grabbed him and said "Where are you going?!" Thirteen said "Luffy said we have to go." he scratched his head, what was her problem today? Luffy said "Bon-chan said that he had out ship and was waiting for us at the docks. Vivi if you want to come with us meet us there." Vivi said "Me?" as she pointed to herself, Luffy grinned and nodded.

Thirteen scratched his head again and didn't really think that was a good idea, who would take care of White if Vivi came with them, this was a serious problem. He sighed and the crew left the palace and headed to the docks, Nami said "What's wrong Thirteen?" Thirteen said "Vivi was acting strange today, she said I would get sick if I drank in the morning, but I can't get sick." Nami smirked and said "Maybe she likes you?" Thirteen said "I hope not. Then she would definitely come with us." Luffy said "Why is that bad?" Thirteen said seriously "If she comes with us, then who's going to take care of White? He's still small." Sanji burst out laughing and Nami snapped "You don't want her to come because of the rabbit?!"

Luffy frowned and said "That IS a problem.." Thirteen nodded and Nami face palmed as they made their way to the ship. They reached the ship and Bon-clay, who was Mr.2, was standing there and said "My friends you're here!" Luffy cheered "Bon-chan!" and they got on the ship and sailed away. Bon-clay said "There's a lot of marines here! So me and my crew will distract them as you all escape." Luffy was shocked and said "Bon-chan you'll get captured!" Bon-clay said "It's fine if i'm protecting my friends!" as he jumped off the Merry and sailed towards the Marines.

Thirteen silently watched him go before mumbling "It's fine if you're protecting your friends..." as he walked to the edge of the ship and threw shooting stars at the marine ships in the Merry's path. A spear flew through the air towards the Merry, Thirteen caught it and threw it back, causing an explosion and blowing the ship that sent that spear to hell, before continuing to throw shooting stars at the surrounding marine ships, sinking them. Suddenly his ear twitched and his head snapped in a certain direction, and stared at the deck.

Zoro said "What is it?" Thirteen said "Stowaway." before throwing more shooting stars at the marine ships, they sailed past the boats and saw Vivi on the shore, Luffy said "It's Vivi!" the crew turned to Vivi and she said "I'm sorry everyone I can't come with you! I want to stay in my country! Are we still friends?!" Luffy was about to shout but Nami covered his mouth and said "There are marines here!" Luffy nodded and turned around before lifting his arm showing the 'X' on his arm, the rest put their arms up as well. Thirteen stared at Vivi and lifted his arm too, before putting it down and walking away, Vivi smiled and the Merry sailed past the marines and got away.

Thirteen walked under the deck and sat Miss All Sunday sitting in his room, he said "Oh it's you." she smiled and said "Pretty boring room you have here. Only your chains and a note from a girl." Thirteen said "All of my possessions. I don't have anything else." she sighed and said "That's a bit sad." he nodded and said "Yeah." and walked away, she was stunned and said "You don't care that i'm here?" Thirteen waved his hand and said "Not really. We're the same." as he disappeared.

Thirteen reached the deck and Usopp said "Hey! Thirteen, I made a key for your cuffs! It was a super tough process..." he began to explain how he did it, Thirteen just nodded and said "Does it work?" Usopp patted his chest and said "If it doesn't you can eat me." Thirteen observed him a bit and said "A bit skinny, not very much meat but alright." before walking back to his room, leaving Usopp pale as he said "He didn't think I was serious did he?!" Zoro chuckled and said "I've never seen him joke around, you dug a pretty deep hole for yourself there Usopp." Usopp was shaking and mumbled "Please work.." over and over again.

Thirteen came back with the cuffs and Miss All Sunday, the crew was shocked and Thirteen snapped the cuffs on his wrists and ankles and said "Key." Usopp shakily handed the key over before saying "Please don't eat me for real." Thirteen took the key and said "It was a joke." Usopp snapped "NOT IF YOU SAY IT!" Thirteen shrugged and tried the key in the wrist cuffs, and it worked, it also worked for the ankle cuffs. Thirteen nodded and threw the arm cuffs at Zoro and the leg cuffs at Sanji then tossed the key to Nami before walking towards a corner of the Merry and starting his workout.

Miss All Sunday giggled and said "Hello everyone. My name is Nico Robin." Luffy said "Hey!" the rest, minus Thirteen, snapped "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HEY!" Robin giggled and said "I have no where to go and your captain saved my life when I wanted to die so here I am. He's responsible." Luffy said "Okay welcome to the crew." the rest, minus Thirteen, said "JUST LIKE THAT?!" Robin giggled again and Luffy said "She saved my life so yeah." the rest just sighed, Zoro and Sanji put the cuffs on and started moving around slowly as Zoro went to train with Thirteen and Sanji went to make food for Robin, he tried to swoon but the cuffs were too heavy, he walked to the kitchen slowly and said "Robin-chan! I'll make you some cake! As soon as I get there!" he was almost slower than a snail.

Robin said "They're that heavy? Thirteen seemed to move around just fine with them on." Zoro slowly lifted his arms and said "He's had them on for years. This is the heaviest thing I've ever had on in my life." Usopp sat Robin down and interrogated her, Thirteen tuned out after that and focused on his training. He had slept for a few days and missed quite a bit of training, he trained while thinking of his cuffs, he kept them around because he felt he needed to, he decided to fight with them again, now that he had a key he could take them off at any moment.

A while later

Thirteen was sitting on the railing of the Merry and thinking silently, Robin leaned on the railing next to him and said "Hey." Thirteen said "Hey." Robin giggled and said "You don't want to talk to me?" Thirteen said "You approached me. I thought you needed something." she smiled and said "Actually I just wanted to talk to you." as she hopped on the railing and say down herself before saying "You don't have your guard up against me?" Thirteen said "I know it was you who saved my life when I was poisoned. Plus I don't think were too different. Also I think your eyes are pretty."

Robin giggled and said "Is that supposed to be a compliment?" Thirteen said "More like a statement. I don't have any one I truly care about, in that kind of way." Robin said "Do you want someone like that?" Thirteen was silent for a while before saying "I don't deserve that." Robin shivered and stared at him in shock, she felt the exact same way, she felt like she knew what his next words were, sure enough he continued "Maybe they'll abandon me one day. Maybe they won't accept me for who I am and who I was." Robin stared at him as he looked into the horizon and said "Plus someone else to care about is another unstable factor, what if they are attacked? If i'm attacked, will they try and help me? If they do, what if they die? If they don't, what if they help the enemy?"

Thirteen shook his head and said "Maybe one day, but there's too many instabilities that are out of my control. Maybe someone will pretend to love me before calling the marines and selling me off." he stared at his hands and said "Plus who would love a sla-" Robin slapped him, his head turned the opposite direction before he turned back and looked at Robin, who had tears in her eyes as she said "You're not a slave anymore." Thirteen was silent as he turned to stare at the sea again before he said "Perhaps. I assume you feel the same way." he hopped off the railing and walked towards where his chains were and said "Like I said." he picked them up and put them on his wrists and ankles before continuing "We're not too different from each other." as he walked under the deck and disappeared from her view.

The ship slowly sailed towards their next destination.
