13 Big Bounty

The next morning

The crew was eating breakfast when Sanji said "I saw Usopp rehearsing a speech at the beach." Luffy said "That's great!" Nami said "Classic Usopp." Luffy said "Let's go get him!" as he turned around and walked towards the door with Nami and Chopper. Thirteen waved his hand and a stardust chain locked the door as Zoro said "Hold it!"

The trio turned around and Zoro said "Where do you think you're going?" Nami said "To get Usopp obviously." Zoro said "I understand that you want to see him again, but you can't kiss him ass and tell him you want him back. You know that." Luffy was silent and Zoro continued "Until he apologizes for what he did, he can't come back!"

Nami said "Hey! Listen I don't know what your problem is but-" Zoro cut her off and snapped "Shut up!" Nami stopped and Zoro walked towards Luffy and said "I care what you two were thinking when you were arguing, and it doesn't matter who was right or wrong either. When two men agree to have a duel, no matter what the outcome is they have to accept it." Luffy was silent and Zoro pulled his cheek and said "Listen he may be an idiot, but he's still our captain. If he doesn't demand respect then the crew will fall apart quickly."

Thirteen waved and the stardust chains disappeared as he said "If Usopp is going to leave every time there's a problem, then he shouldn't be on the crew." Zoro nodded and said "Exactly. The lunatic is right, until he apologizes then he can't come back. I won't allow it!" he turned to Luffy and said "If you let him back on the crew without an apology I will be the next one to leave." the crew gasped and Zoro continued "We're not playing pirates, this isn't a game!"

Thirteen said "Yeah, I just killed thousands of people." the crew grimaced and Luffy said "You're right. There's still a few days until the ship is ready. We can wait until then." Thirteen sighed and Robin pinched him and said "Why are you ruining the moment?!" Thirteen said "Look at Chopper, he looks like someone just hung him up to make jerky. Trying to lift the mood." Chopper choked on his saliva and Robin snapped "BY PROVING YOU'RE A LUNATIC?!" Thirteen looked around and saw the rest looking at him, he sighed and nodded "I'm crazy." the crew chuckled and Robin sighed as she grabbed his ears and said "I'll show you crazy." before she scratched them, causing him to chuff and the rest of the crew burst out laughing.

A few days later

Thirteen was sitting outside when a newsgull landed in front of him, it wasn't Rex, Thirteen paid for the newspaper and took one. The gull nodded and flew away, Thirteen read the paper and frowned as he said "That's not good." he walked to where the crew was and threw the newspaper on the table as he said "We have a slight problem." Robin read the paper and seethed, Nami looked at it and paled as she said "Bad. Really bad. Even worse than the last time." Thirteen sighed and said "We're gonna have to deal with this. I'm not leaving, I believe in you all." the crew smiled and Luffy complained "It's going to go up again isn't it?"

At Twin Cape Lighthouse

Crocus read the newspaper and chuckled "They're really throwing everything at that kid aren't they?" Marianne walked over and said "What happened Crocus?" Crocus rubbed her head and said "Your hero was in the news again." Marianne pouted and said "What did he get blamed for this time?" Crocus laughed and handed her the newspaper, she read it and said "WOW! That's really.." Crocus chuckled and said "That's the World Government kid."

On Marineford

Smoker read the newspaper and broke his desk in half, scaring Tashigi out of her wits, as he spat "Fucking higher ups..." Hina walked in and said "Smoker-kun? What's wrong?" Smoker threw the newspaper at her and said "The world." Hina frowned and read the newspaper before chuckling nervously "That's not good.." Smoker stood up and said "I wonder what Sengoku has to say this time.." as he left the room.

Smoker opened the door to Sengoku's office and saw Akainu inside saying "We should go capture that slave right now! I'll go myself!" Sengoku pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed and Smoker snapped "Just because he's a slave?!" Akainu turned around and said "Watch it Commodore. I'm not someone you can casually speak like that to." Smoker grit his teeth and said "I forgot you were an asshole." he ignored him and said to Sengoku "You're just going to let this slip?! How long is this going to go on for?!"

Sengoku said "What do you want me to do? Tell the higher ups to go fuck themselves like you did?" Smoker threw his hands up and said "What else can you do! These prints aren't just making the kid look bad! All Minks are being targeted! This isn't about the kid anymore! Go outside and see what the rest of these idiots are saying!" Sengoku frowned and said "What do you mean?" Akainu said "Who cares?" Smoker said "Some of us actually care about innocents. Should you be sinking an island for some petty thief right now?" Akainu grinded his teeth and said "I said WATCH IT!"

Smoker sneered at him and said to Sengoku "Those retards are saying that they should just so and kill every Mink they find so there won't be any half-breed abominations anymore. You think that's right? We're talking about exterminating a race!" Sengoku frowned and said "Who said that?!" Smoker said "Take a look for yourself, maybe tell those 5 idiots that they're pushing an entire race into a pit for a single kid that escaped. Fucking retards, if they're old enough to forget the consequences of their actions maybe we should replace them we people who have half a fucking brain!"

Akainu said "Are you protecting the slave?" Smoker looked at him seriously and said "You must be an idiot right? Is the only thing that run through your mind 'justice' all day? It's not about the kid, it's about all Minks. As an admiral you should realize what's happening here and do something about it." he pointed outside the room and said "All those marines out there are spewing the same garbage that comes out of the papers! Let me ask you a question, do you believe that we should kill an entire race of innocents for a single bad one?"

Akainu frowned and said "Obviously not." Smoker clapped and said "Well that's what they're saying outside." he turned around and walked towards the door saying "Maybe you two should do something about it. Nobody is going to listen to a Commodore." he opened the door and left. Sengoku said "This is a problem..." Akainu nodded and said "We have to capture the slave as soon as possible." Sengoku gave him a look and snapped "Get your ass out there and tell all those retards that Minks aren't the problem! What are you saying 'catch the kid'?! Go fucking fix those damn marines!" Akainu gulped and left, Sengoku leaned back in his chair and rubbed his temples before calling Garp.

Off the coast of Water 7

Garp got a phone call as he finished reading the newspaper. He answered it and said "They better have a good fucking explanation for this." Sengoku sighed and said "We have a big problem here. Smoker has informed for that all these brats are shouting to kill all the Minks." Garp snapped "Tell them the next person to say a single word about that again will try and swim through the calm belt with a 200 pound weight on them!"

Aokiji chuckled next to Garp, and Sengoku spit out his drink at the absurdity of that statement before saying "I need you to get the kid." Garp sighed and said "That's ridiculous. Another public execution?" he suddenly laughed and said "We love those! Let's just publicly execute everyone! I'll bring the kid back make sure the executioners are ready!" Sengoku said "What else do you want me to do?"

Garp said "Take control Sen! You're too relaxed! I have 80% of my crew dead right now because they spouted racist garbage!" Sengoku was shocked and Garp said "I didn't kill them." Sengoku said "I'm supposed to kill them?" Garp said "No. Make them stop being retards, none of them think for themselves do they?" Sengoku chuckled and said "Monkey see, Monkey do." Garp chuckled and said "The Red Puppy isn't help is he?" Sengoku said "I told him to do something and he said 'We just have to capture the slave'" Garp burst out laughing.

In Cocoyasi Village

Carla was sitting in Nojiko's house and two NewsGulls flew in and landed on the table. Nojiko paid for the paper and one of them flew away, the other one said "I heard there's a Carla here?" Carla was stunned and said "You can speak?!" Rex nodded and pointed to his collar "A great guy made this for me. My name's Rex. Anyway I have a special package delivery for you." Carla too the box from his back and said "From who?" Rex stroked his head with his wings and said "I didn't catch his name but he had tiger ears." Carla said "Thirteen?!"

Rex said "I guess so. Anyway he gave me a million beri to deliver it and I assume you want to send a message back, so I'll wait here. Maybe i'll get a bonus! I could take a vacation!" Carla was amused by Rex and said "Thank you Rex." as she opened the box and said "A fruit?" Rex said "That's a devil fruit. It gives you special powers! You're a lucky gal!"

Carla was stunned and said "Do you know about these?" Rex nodded and said "Yup! Sometimes maniacs with devil fruit powers try and shoot us down!" Carla frowned and said "That's mean." Rex sighed and said "Unfortunately, none of us have had a voice for a long time, but i'm trying to change that! My dream is for all NewsGulls to be protected and safe!" Carla smiled and ruffled his feathers "I know you can do it!" Rex said "With people like you supporting us we can! Anyways, Devil Fruits are extremely rare to find! Depending on which type it is, it can go from 200 million to 1 billion"

Carla was shocked and said "He got this for me?" she picked up the letter and opened it. She read the first line and stood up, grabbed the box and walked out of the room, she got to a private spot and read the rest.

"Carla, i'm sorry that I can't be with you all the time. I feel really bad about it and I want to tell you something really important, but first you're probably wondering why there's a fruit in the box. It's a devil fruit, maybe Rex knows more about them but if you eat it, it will give you powers! The fruit is specifically the Tattoo-Tattoo fruit, which would turn you into a Tattoo person. What it means is that any tattoos on your body are able to come to life and fight for you, when you activate it." she stopped and stared at the fruit in a daze before reading the next line. "I want you to rest the rest before you decide to eat it or not." she frowned and continued reading.

Carla's hands shook as she read the letter, she was happy, scared, sad, and excited all at the same time. She looked at the box and brought it back inside with her, she sat down at the table and silently stared at the letter. Nojiko frowned and said "What's wrong?" Carla handed her the letter and stared at the devil fruit as she said "Rex can you give us a minute please?" Rex nodded and said "I'll be outside just shout if you need me!" Carla smiled and nodded as he left.

Nojiko finished reading the letter and was silent before saying "What are you gonna do?" Carla held her head in her hands and said "I don't know.. I'm sure the other girl knows about me. Maybe she already accepted it!" Nojiko said "Carla. Are you serious about this? Do you truly like him that much? You would have to share him with other girls." Carla was silent and said "I have not stopped thinking about him since he left. I never told you or Nami but I was still a virgin when we had sex."

Carla glared at Nojiko before looking at her heart-lock tattoo and thinking about it coming to life.

The heart-lock materialized and fell onto the table, Carla picked it up and said "COOL!" before thinking about it going back, the heart-lock vanished and returned to her skin. Carla giggled and said "This is so much fun!" Nojiko sighed and said "You're hopeless." Carla realized "I have to write back!" Nojiko stopped her and said "Read this first." as she passed her the newspaper.

Carla read it aloud "Half-Mink slave aptly dubbed 'God of Slaughter' has declared war on humans!" Carla seethed "They're bashing my husband!" Nojiko smacked her in the head and said "What husband!"

Carla rubbed her head and continued reading "The half-Mink slave and the Straw Hat pirates, stormed Enies Lobby. The 'God of Slaughter' was reported to have killed 4582 marines, successfully exterminating all the marines stationed at the judicial island by himself before joining the Straw Hats in declaring war in the World Government. Reports also included, the Half-Mink Slave is a psychopathic killer who will not stop until humans are wiped off the face of the world. Could this be a catastrophe for the human race? When will this evil be purified?"

Carla seethed and said "Who writes this garbage?!" Nojiko sighed and said "There's also a comic at the back." Carla flipped it over and said "Sora, Warrior of the sea against the God of Slaughter" she read the comic, it showed a hooded figure talking to the Germa group and partnering with them to take over the world. The hooded figure took off his hood and revealed a man that looked similar to Thirteen but he had red eyes and long fangs as he said "We must kill Sora before our plan is complete!" it ended there with a note 'More next time'.

Carla sniffed and said "He doesn't look like that. His eyes are blue and his fangs are smaller, they don't poke out of his mouth and he has a little scar on his jawline." Nojiko deadpanned and said "You're crazy." Carla said "I pay attention." a poster slid out of the newspaper and fell to the table. Carla picked it up and said "Oh my god. He's absolutely perfect." Nojiko snatched it out of her hands and looked at it. Carla picked up a paper and started writing a letter back to him.

It was a picture of Thirteen sitting in a chair with his feet propped up on a table, and his hands behind his head. He has he rabbit hawaiian shirt on and opened revealing his muscles, a bit of his brand, and his tiger tattoo. He had one eye open glaring at the camera. His ears and tail were visible and you could even see the bar in his ear. He also had a star imprint on the side of his neck.

Nojiko was looking over the Wanted poster and Carla finished her letter and said "REX!" Rex fell from outside and flew in through the window saying "I'm not deaf you know." Carla giggled and said "You said shout!" Rex sighed and said "You want to send that letter back?" Carla nodded and said "Tell him I said to give you a big bonus." as she ruffled his feathers. Rex nodded excitedly and said "No problem! Count on me! Anything else you want to give him?" Carla frowned and said "No that's it. Thanks Rex." as she smiled.

Rex saluted and said "You're welcome! Don't forget to support Newsgulls near you!" as he left through the window, Carla watched him go and said "What a nice guy." Nojiko froze as she looked down and said "That's not good.." Carla said "What's not good?" Nojiko turned the poster around and pointed to the reward and said "This." Carla saw it and started getting worried as she said "Good thing I wished him luck then. I hope nothing bad happens to him!"

Back on Water 7

The crew was sitting around a table waiting for their ship to be ready, completely unaware the storms the news just brought up. A Franky Family goon ran into the room and said "I got good news and bad news! Which do you want to hear first?" Zoro said "Bad news." the goon said "Your bounties went up... some of them went way up." the crew looked at Thirteen, who turned to them with stuffed cheeks and a book in his hand. Robin said "I really hope you're not reading what I think you're reading." Thirteen slowly put the book in his shirt and swallowed the food in his mouth before Robin ripped the book out of his hands and said "How to deal with sudden fame."

Robin felt her eye twitch and she snapped "IT'S NOT FAME! IT'S INFAMY!" as she threw the book out the window, it flew through the air and across town before smashing Usopp right on the nose, he picked it up and said "I'M SUPPOSED TO CHARGE FOR THOSE?!"

The Franky family good said "Anyways here they are." Thirteen looked over the bounties and noticed everyone had one now.

Thirteen looked at the last two and scratched the back of his head and said "Well, they got a good picture at least." the rest of the crew deadpanned and Nami snapped "That's not the problem!" Thirteen sighed and looked at his bounty poster.

The Franky family goon said "That's not all! Big bro Franky has a bounty too now!" he pulled out Franky's bounty and showed the crew.

The Franky family goon said "Straw Hat bro! Please take BigBro Franky with you!" Luffy said "I already decided he was joining." the goon was elated and said "That's great! He'll probably be hiding and waiting for you to leave but I have an idea! We'll get him to the shipyard!" Luffy nodded and the goon added "Oh right, the good news is that your ship is finished! It's at the shipyard right now!" The crew smiled and left for the shipyard.

Chopper said "I can't wait for the next issue of Sora, warrior of the sea to come out! Maybe he'll defeat the bad guys again!" Sanji and Thirteen growled and looked at each other, Thirteen was confused and Sanji said "You're a crewmate." before turning back, Thirteen shrugged and forgot about it.

The crew arrived at the shipyard and saw Iceberg standing in front of a tarp, he smiled to the group and said "Here's your new ship!" he pulled the tarp and revealed a massive ship with a giant lion head at the front. The crew was amazed and boarded the ship, Thirteen walked around on the grass deck and nodded, it was nice and big, he walked into the rooms and found his own and walked in.

He looked around and saw a big bookshelf with 3 books on it, he looked at them and put them back quickly, he would have to make sure Robin never saw this bookshelf, he looked at the door before pulling out a few books he bought yesterday, he put them on the bookshelf and moved around his room, there was a lot of space even though he had a big bed.

He stared at the bed and wondered why it was big enough to fit at least three people comfortably, Robin walked into his room and saw the bed, she looked at Thirteen, who threw his hands up, and sighed "Damn Cyborg bastard.." Robin handed him a bunch of books and he took them and put them on the bookshelf, hiding his books behind hers. Thirteen nodded and the duo walked out of the room.

They reached the deck and saw Franky standing in the shipyard naked, Thirteen tilted his head and said "Why is he naked?" Luffy held up Franky's speedos and said "I won't give them back until he joins the crew" Robin said "No need I got this" as she crossed her arms, causing two arms to sprout from Franky's legs and grab his balls. Suddenly Garp's voice sounded out and said "I'm coming to sink you Luffy!" Luffy started to sweat as the ship started sailing away quickly. Franky started showing off features of the ship and said "All the rooms are soundproof." the crew cheered and Robin blushed, Nami said "Thank god!" Thirteen nodded and Franky grinned as he said "I put a bigger bed in your room. You like it?" Robin clenched her fists and Thirteen secretly gave him a thumbs up.

Garp started throwing cannonballs at the ship and Thirteen was throwing shooting stars at the marine ship and missing. The two were pretty much just playing around as this point, Garp said "You blind brat?!" Thirteen threw a star right at his head, Garp ducked and chuckled as he threw a cannonball at Thirteen, who threw a star at the cannonball, blowing it up in the air.

Suddenly on the shore Usopp screamed "Hey guys! You forgot me!" the crew ignored him and Usopp said "I'll be vice-captain if you let me back!" they kept ignoring him. Usopp was getting really worried and screamed "I'M SORRY! PLEASE LET ME BACK ON THE CREW!!!" Luffy stretched out his hand and said "Grab on!" Usopp grabbed his hand and shot forwards to the deck and the duo hugged as they cried.

Franky said "The ship needs a name." Sanji kicked a cannonball away and said "Right now?" Franky said "The ship can't sail without one." Luffy said "Lion-gorilla-chimpanzee!" Usopp chopped his head and said "What's with the animals?!" Luffy said "Lion-dango-meat" Usopp shopepd him again and said "THIS ISN'T A WORD GAME!"

Thirteen said "Rabbit-runner." the crew looked at him and Franky said "So nobody has any ideas?" Thirteen frowned and said "I just said-" Robin clamped her hand over his mouth and said "I didn't hear anything." Thirteen licked her palm, Robin turned red and took her hand away. Thirteen said "Killer Tiger." Franky snapped "NO!" Thirteen said "How about Star glider?" Franky sighed and said "You're awful. Iceberg said 'Thousand Sunny' but I have a better one! Battle Franky-" Robin cut him off "Thousand Sunny sounds nice." Luffy cheered "Yeah! Thousand Sunny!" Franky wilted and drew circles on the deck.

Sanji said "Franky is there anyway we can leave here immediately?" as he pointed at Garp, who was spinning a giant cannonball on a chain. Franky ran under the deck and said "Hang on tight!" he filled the cola tanks and hit a button as he said "Coup De Burst!" the Sunny shot off into the air and sped away, escaping the marines.

Garp watched them go and said "Never seen that before." Aokiji lifted his face mask and said "That sure is something." Garp laughed and said "Back to HQ boys!" as their ship turned around and left.

A while later

The Sunny was sailing, Thirteen was sitting outside on the grass, staring at the stars. He looked at the Merry constellation and pointed towards it, the Merry glowed in the sky and Thirteen felt even stronger than normal. He was shocked, he didn't know that happened, he wondered if it was only at night. He touched his star-mark and smiled, Robin showed up and said "Come to bed." as she walked over and caressed his face, Thirteen smiled and said "Merry's constellation gives me strength, though I don't know if it works during the day." Robin smiled and looked up at the Merry.

Thirteen got up and said "Let's go to sleep." Robin smiled and held his hand as they walked towards their room. The duo got into their room and Thirteen took his chains off, he hung them on a hook Franky installed in his room, it was right next to the note Carla left him, which was now framed.

Robin took her clothes off and put on one of Thirteen's t-shirts, he turned around and said "You wear that to sleep?"
