Chapter 152: Irrational Insanity III

...........

"Please do find a newspaper and enjoy it if you live through this," That's all Yovan had to say before laughing aloud, "Yahahahahahahaha."

Their eyes couldn't help but constrict at his words. their body trembled at the numerous possibilities of chaos... Just what happened?

They had no idea, nor could they figure it out now. They could only hope that things haven't gone massively wrong.

They were, however, hesitating, almost as if the overwhelming willpower about was pressuring even these monsters. How could it not when it even started manifesting itself?

Indeed, Yovan's greatest quality has always been his persistent unyielding willpower, and now it even reached such an extent that the Admirals saw a hint of a monstrous figure looking down upon them.

They could swear that standing behind Yovan, dwarfing the world, was a dark golden crow, its brilliant golden eyes appearing like the brilliance of the stars in the middle of the night.

Yovan took the first forward, his wings flapping once to seemingly teleport right before the golden Sengoku, already swinging his blade at him.

Yovan's wings acted as a shield against the Admirals' attacks as he focused on the six-armed Buddha before him, his slash releasing numerous fractures for miles ahead.

Hell, his slash even released an ocean of golden flames, flames so destructive that even the golden Buddha could barely stop it.

Using his six arms, Sengoky constructed a golden shield against the incoming attacks, his expression crushing in pain as cracks spread not only through the shield but also all over his body.

Kiryu Hasshoken in combination with Yovan Haki's internal was something that could easily be stopped. In fact, it had the capability of ignoring defense.

Sengoku's defense, however, was too strong, the only reason why he survive, giving Kizaru time to appear right behind Yovan, condensing a destructive light sphere that went on to pierce through Yovan's chest.

It went through it way too easily much to Kizaru's horror for he saw it, he saw Yovan's chest open up to allow the condensed beam to pass, hitting Sengoku instead.

"Youuu!!" They were in shock. How can a living human being have no heart?? Indeed, Kizaru had targetted Yovan's heart to no avail.

[Life Return: 3256/∞]

His control over his body had long reached a monstrous level, especially in combination with his Ink of Instinct, and his only weakness was his brain.

"Thanks," Yovan murmured as he vanished again, using only his speed to move about, knowing that Kizaru wouldn't allow him to teleport, so he left behind a shockwave as he slashed again.

Sengoku was still using his six arms to guard against Yovan's numerous attacks with difficulty, numerous attacks as Yovan's swordsmanship climbed higher and higher in combination with his speed, releasing numerous slashes every second.

[The Way Of The Blade: 2369/∞]

Although he was focused on Sengoku who is the bigger prey, Yovan couldn't ignore the other, especially Kizaru as the latter always followed after him in an instant.

"Ama no Murakumo!" A technique Kizaru released, forming a long, very sharp, and durable sword out of light before solidifying it, and he started targetting Yovan's head, so the latter had to evade.

Yovan wasn't confident in his Haki stopping such a condensed light sword, and while Kizaru can move at the speed of light, he still has a weakness.

Since his fruit is light-based, some of Kizaru's attacks, like his lasers, can only travel in straight lines. Even he can only travel in straight lines, and he has to stop to change direction.

So with Yovan's advanced observation Haki, he was able to react to most of his attacks except when he doesn't need to.

In fact, that's why the Admirals were finding themselves becoming more and more fearful for Yovan allows them to absolutely destroy his body as long as they aren't targetting his head.

He would gladly take an attack that won't kill him as long as it gives him the opportunity to land an attack of his own.

His clock of golden flames couldn't completely protect him. He wanted it to act as a deterrent to keep the Admirals away, but all of them, bar none, have long-ranged attacks.

"YOu're InstanE!!!!! Just Die!!!" Akainu screamed as he brought down a gigantic punch of magma upon Yovan.

"Scatter," Yovan murmured, scattering into numerous feathers, most of them getting destroyed in an instant as Kizaru made his move.

He couldn't use his feathers to teleport vast distances or even small distances as Kizaru will certainly destroy them instantly, so Yovan only used them to move a tiny distance.

"Scatter," And he scattered again, moving a tiny distance again to avoid an enormous Icicle.

If he tried to attack any of the other Admirals, then Sengoky will follow to act as a tank, so his focus was always on Sengoku as he murmured, "Even Suns can die."

His words seemed to be a trigger for what was to come, a danger so great that a chill went down the Admirals' spine, and none were more fearful than Sengoku.

The clock of flames around Yovan expanded instantly, forming an enormous sun around him at the exact moment that Kizaru was about to attack.

But as expected of the light man, he reacted very quickly, albeit he still suffered as the expanded sun was hotter than anything Yovan had shown so far, so hot in fact that most of his skin was burned.

The flames didn't touch him, but his skin was still burned a little before he turned into a light beam, retreating away.

That was, however, only the start. Suns do die, eventually, the fuel of the sun, hydrogen, will run out. When this happens, the sun will begin to die.

When it starts to die, the Sun will expand into a red giant star just like what happened just now as Yovan's flames turned red. A moment it was red, another it became white as Yovan's sun shrunk instantly.

It became a small white dwarf only enveloping him, then came the next stage, the source of all danger, a supernova, a powerful and luminous explosion of a star.

There was an explosion, an explosion so grand it was almost heard throughout New World, but the luminousness of the explosion was certainly seen by many throughout the world.

The dark sky lit up aflame, the extent of the explosion seemingly reaching space. Strangely, however, the Admirals that strongly believed themselves dead didn't die.

Punk Hazard which became nothing but a sea of magma, ice, and flames seemingly suffered enough, so much so that the heavens pitied it for the explosion didn't affect it at all.

In fact, the sea wasn't affected at all, almost as if the explosion was targeted solely toward the sky.

As things quieted down, the Admirals realized what happened as amidst the hot luminous area stood Yovan and the golden Buddha, and they were certain that they heard the Buddha utter something before the explosion.

"Indomitable Belief -Halt!" It was uttered so serenely against the despairing situation, containing such indestructible belief that Sengoku sincerely believed it could stop the explosion.

It was his greatest move, perhaps his awakening, which gave birth to numerous golden hands that surrounded Yovan to block the explosion, yet it could redirect it.

The Supernova was so destructive that even Sengoku's greatest move could only redirect it toward the sky... At a cost.

The Golde Buddha still stood tall, but he no longer had six arms, or four arms, Sengoku lost all six of his arms. He was in such a fatal state that he couldn't keep his transformation anymore.

Sengoku returned to his human form, and much to the shock of all, losing his six arms in Buddha form translated to losing his arms in human form... He could barely use Geppo to stand on air.

"W-what's happening?" The Admirals had to question their own sanity, their backs drenched in cold sweat, chills going through their entire body.

They expected many things, nothing like this though, not even close. They were having a hard time distinguishing reality from imagination... Yovan was truly stranger than imagination.

Kizaru was the first to get a hold of himself, knowing that he has to act, their last resort. He vanished into a beam of light, and in seconds, all of the Admirals were taken far away by him.

The admirals retreated. All three of the Admirals retreated, and even the Fleet Admiral was taken away, left in a bad state.

Tell what happened today to anyone, none would believe you, none of this made sense, yet it was all happening... Yovan was there, on his knees, above a pile of floating feathers, breathing heavily.

Whatever was left of his body was melting, literally, for even he doesn't have complete immunity against his golden flames, and using something like the Supernova was beyond his capabilities.

Yovan still lives. He still breathes. He's still a danger, else Kizaru would've taken a chance to kill him. However, he escaped, the correct judgment as Yovan stood up and looked at the sky... It wasn't the end just yet.
