Chapter 4 Improving

Forest.

At a clear area in the forest, near the crashed ship stood Luffy, Sanji and the bounty hunter duo.

Thud!

"Shut Up!!! No way Nami will kill Usopp!!!

Yosaku with a pale face said something to luffy, on whose face anger appeared as he shouted and held the former from the collar, throwing him down, looking at him with chilly eyes.

Sanji raised his eyebrows a little at his words, though a look of shock on Jonny's face.

"I'm not lying!! I saw it with my own eyes, Nami dug a dagger in his heart and threw him into water!!

Retorted Yosaku with all his might, regret on his face, eyes filled with sadness.

Seeing him insisting, Luffy was unable to say anything in response, just looking at him with cold eyes.

Tap!

Huh?

At this moment, a sound of footsteps was heard by everyone taking there attention, an orange haired girl with a beautiful face walking towards them, a cold look on her face.

"Nami!!"

"Nami- Swan~~

Cried out Luffy with a smile as he let go of Yosaku and stood up, Sanji with hearts in eyes greeting as well.

"Leave this Island if you don't want to lose more crewmates, luffy"

"I was never a part of your crew, neither did I agree to be, I just used you like all others in the past"

"So get off this Island and never show me your face again"

...

But the words that left her mouth, resulted in a silence, the smile on luffy's face fading, staring at her quietly, Sanji lighting a cigarette.

While Luffy's group encountered Nami, at the shore of cocoyasi village appeared a navy ship, the anchors dropped into the water.

"Hehehe ~ it's time to apprehend a thief"

A colonel of navy with mouse like facial features stepped out followed by a lot of marines, laughing, a gleam in his eyes.

*Creek*

"Just why don't these guys leave me alone!"

The door was pushed open as a tired looking Nami entered the house, speaking to herself in a frustrated manner.

Just now she asked luffy and others to leave, only for luffy to not give a damn at all, instead taking a nap in the middle of the forest, Sanji and the bounty hunter duo with him.

Knowing Luffy's stubbornness, Nami could only return home helpless and frustrated, ready to rest, it's been a long day for her.

"Now where did Nojiko go?"

"Huh?"

Shaking her head, Nami looked towards the empty dining table, wondering where her sister went off to, but her face changed when she noticed a familiar figure in the house.

Thump!! Thump!!

With his eyes closed Zoro sat a corner, his heart beating fast, the blood in his body seems to be boiling, even the bones in his body were trembling, both seem excited.

"This feeling...I underestimated myself, to think I'll get started in a few moments, I'm way stronger physically then those guys in that world"

"Probably close or equal to those hashira's"

Thought Zoro, he could feel what was happening inside his body, though slowly but he was improving every second.

And not just physically, his senses were improving as well, faster thought process, faster reaction, better awareness of surroundings,it was a complete improvement.

No one in that world ever practiced the technique on first try, let alone even improving, his body probably was ways ahead in terms of potential, maybe due to being in different worlds.

The inhabitants of this world had stronger bodies on a base level, this was the only reason Zoro could deduce.

"Damn!! Why do you keep butting in my business!! why!!!?"

Seeing Zoro, Nami was only surprised for a second before that frustrated look appeared again, not able to stop herself, shouting at the former with all her might, face red.

Zoro didn't show much reaction despite being yelled at, opening his eyes slowly to give Nami a look, lips parting.

"Helping someone while putting your own life on the line, you are the last person who can stop us from doing so, right Nami?"

Said Zoro with his lips curved into a big smile, silence in the room completely after his words.

The frustrated look on Nami's face disappeared instantly after his words her eyes widening in shock, gazing at Zoro, trying to say something but words not coming out.

Thud!

Colonel! This is Nami's house!!

But at this moment was a sound of a lot of footsteps, a voice from outside falling in the ears of Nami and Zoro.

Near the entrance stood Colonel Mouse with Genzo next to him, a lot of marines behind them standing in an orderly manner.

Genzo though had a confused expression, wondering what business a navy officer had with Nami, not able to understand at all.
