Luffy sighed as he sat outside of the castle. He apparently had fallen asleep on the spot after meeting the strange reindeer/tanuki who saved him from falling down the mountain.
And now he was up and checking his system. And it looks like he has to train even more to emit Armament Haki consciously.
Luffy decided to enter the castle. He opened the large gate and walked into the icy castle.
The interior of the castle itself is very cold and filled with snow due to the front door being always open.
The castle was also decorated with creepy shamanic furniture, research tools and medical equipment for the treatment of patients.
He walked around the interior of the castle aimlessly. He was trying to find the room Nami was staying in.
The rooms were mostly locked. Luffy was starting to consider destroying the doors to enter the rooms.
But he quickly stopped himself. He was the guest here and Dr Kureha, whom he pleaded with to treat Nami first and Sanji second was gracious enough to not kick him and the others off the mountain.
Luffy opened a door and found that he was in a room that had a bed in it. He immediately entered it, hoping that Nami was resting here.
"Yes!" Luffy cheered to himself when he saw his cute orange haired navigator sleeping soundly in the bed. Nami had a giant ice pack on her head that was hanging off a small wooden post.
Luffy grabbed a random chair that was in the room and sat down on it. He looked at Nami silently while thinking about his next moves.
'That Wapol dude and his crew attacked me while I was carrying those two. Shit, I should've dealt with them before climbing up here. Now they're definitely going to come here. ' Luffy thought while shaking his head. He saw Nami furrow her eyebrows a little and immediately sat up straight. Nami pushed the ice pack away from her forehead and yawned.
She sat up and looked at Luffy who was grinning broadly at her. Nami immediately brightened up and hugged him tightly.
"Luffy! Oh Luffy!!" Nami shouted while hugging him tightly with tears forming at the corner of her eyes. Luffy laughed as he hugged her back.
"Nami! You're alright now!! Shishishishishi!!!" Luffy grinned at her while rubbing her back gently. Nami looked into his black eyes while Luffy looked into her brown ones.
They leaned into each other and kissed. "Chu~!"
It was a long, gentle and clumsy kiss, but it meant everything to them. They were enjoying it so much, they didn't notice someone watching them kiss from the door to the infirmary.
The two released the kiss and smiled at each other. They then looked at the newcomer that watched them have a special moment with each other.
It was a toddler-sized human/reindeer hybrid that had his left antler braced at the base by a metal plate.
He was wearing a large pale red/pink fuzzy top hat with a sideways medical cross and a maroon pair of shorts.
His name is Tony Tony Chopper. Chopper is a reindeer that ate the Hito Hito no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows its user to transform into a human hybrid or a human at will.
Luffy grinned at him, recognizing him as the person who saved him. Chopper gulped and hid behind a door.
Unfortunately, he is not hiding his body behind the door and as a result, his body is visible and only one half of his face is hidden.
Luffy and Nami giggled at Chopper's mistake. Chopper tried to correct his mistake, making Luffy laugh loudly.
"It's too late, mister reindeer. You can't hide anymore, what are you doing?" Nami asked him with a gentle smile on her face. Chopper was sweating bullets.
"Sh-shut up human!! By the way, are you feeling any better?" Chopper asked, surprising Nami and intriguing Luffy.
" Wow! A talking reindeer! How cute!" Nami squealed happily. Chopper screamed and immediately ran away from the room.
"What an interesting guy! Shishishishishi!!" Luffy commented while chuckling to himself at what just happened.
"So you have woken up, are you feeling any better, little girl?"
The two looked at a woman who had a well-wrinkled face and was a slender woman in her prime.
She was dressed in a style more suited to women one-seventh her age. This includes a navel ring, a shirt that bears her midriff, a purple blazer and purple low-riding pants.
She has a pair of small sunglasses that, when they're not over her eyes, she wears on her forehead even when she's using glasses. She wears bracelets and rings on her left hand.
Currently, she was wearing pants with a pink design on the left leg and a blazer with a yellow line along the shoulders and down each arm. She wore a white shirt with a pink cherry blossom on the front and green sleeves and borders.
This was Kureha, otherwise known as Dr Kureha. She is an extremely elderly doctor who works on Drum Island. She is referred to as 'witch' by some people and is Chopper's mentor and adoptive mother.
"Who are you?" Nami asked her while Kureha put a finger on her forehead.
"38.2°C. You're getting better. I am Dr Kureha, Heeheeheeheehee, you can call me Doctorine. " Kureha grinned at Nami.
" Hey auntie, who's that blue nose reindeer?" Luffy asked her.
"AAAH!!! HELP!!! "
" Don't run tanuki!! I'm gonna cook you up!!"
Everyone saw Sanji chasing Chopper outside of the infirmary.
"What a surprise, he recovered faster than I thought she would." Kureha whispered and looked at Luffy.
" His name is Chopper. He's just a regular blue-nosed reindeer." Kureha explained.
"But what kind of regular reindeer can talk?" Nami asked her.
" Oh nothing, he just accidentally ate the Hito Hito no Mi. "
" I SAID STOP IT HUMAN!!! I AM NOT YOUR FOOD!!! "
Chopper shouted. He suddenly turned larger and punched Sanji in the back of his head, sending Sanji crashing into the ground. Luffy grinned.
"Nami, I'm gonna invite him to my crew as the head doctor. "
Nami widened her eyes a little. Kureha snorted to herself. Chopper immediately ran back into the infirmary and sighed in relief.
"Hey, Nami. I'm gonna find Sanji now, okay?" Luffy stood up.
"Wait, kid. Let me show you the way. I don't want you destroying the castle. " Kureha offered. They walked to the exit.
Luffy looked at Chopper who gulped dramatically as he was being towered by Luffy's overbearing height.
Luffy grinned at him and patted his hat gently before exiting the room with Kureha, leaving a confused Chopper alone with a smiling Nami. Chopper shrugged of the confusion he was feeling and looked at Nami.
" Doctorine's medicine is very strong, so your fever is almost gone. However, you still have Kesha's bacteria in your body. You still need an injection and some rest." Chopper explained while adjusting his hat.
"Thanks."
"Huh?"
Nami smiled at Chopper. "Thanks for taking care of me. " Nami thanked him, making Chopper widen his eyes.
"SHUT UP!!" Chopper shouted, making Nami frown and confused.
"I don't need gratitude from a human—hahahahahaha—DON'T MESS WITH ME!! Asshole.... hahahahaha... Don't mess with me jerk..hehehehehe.... It won't work... hahahaha!! " Chopper laughed while dancing happily. He starts to do the 'Dirty Old Man' dance which was a bit by famous Japanese comedian Ken Shimura, which became a running gag.
Nami giggled while looking at the dancing Chopper. He obviously loves compliments, but there's something that blocks him from accepting it.
"Hey, Chopper. Do you want to join Luffy's crew?"
"HUH?!!!"

"Hey, Sanji." Luffy grinned at him as he pulled Sanji up. Sanji sighed as he dusted herself off.
"Hey Luffy." Sanji grinned at him. They raised their fists and gave each other a fist bump.
"Hey, Sanji. I gotta tell you something." Luffy changed the topic.
"What is it?"
"While I was carrying you and Nami here. I temporarily unlocked Armament Haki." Luffy revealed seriously, surprising the chef.
"Really? What did it feel like?" Sanji asked him.
" I felt very powerful, that's for sure. It only lasted about a couple of minutes though. " Luffy looked at his hands and frowned. Sanji patted his shoulder.
" It's alright, Luffy. I believe you can do it someday." Sanji nodded at him. Luffy grinned and nodded back.
Suddenly, he saw Chopper and Kureha running past him. Chopper had transformed back into a normal reindeer with a longer snout and prominent fur at the shoulders.
"That's weird. Is there an intruder or something?" Sanji muttered. Luffy hummed.
"Let's go check it out." He whispered before he and Sanji ran after Kureha and Chopper.

"WHERE IS THE DRUM EMPIRE'S FLAG??!!" Wapol screamed angrily. Kureha laughed.
"Heeheeheeheehee!! I've already burnt it! This castle is Hiriluk's tomb! It's not a place for rotten scum like you! Get out of here, Drum Empire has already been destroyed! " Kureha smirked at Wapol.
" Tomb?! That stupid doctor's tomb?! That's not funny at all!!" Wapol shouted back while laughing. Chopper glared at him.
Suddenly, Luffy appeared in front of Wapol with his five fingers extended. "Shugan!!" Luffy shouted before stabbing through Wapol's chest with his fingers.
Chopper's jaw dropped as Kureha widened her eyes in shock. Sanji could only smirk at his captain's show of force.
Luffy then kicked Wapol in the head, sending him blasting away and tumbling on the snowy ground.
He clenched his fists and pointed at him "You tried to hurt me and my dear ones! I won't let you get away with it this time! " Luffy shouted.
" AAAHH!!!! " Wapol shouted as he stood up again.
" I will eat you this time, Mugiwara!! "
" That's so gay!! " Luffy shouted back before suddenly disappearing.
"Wait! Where did he go?!" Wapol shouted in shock.
"Don't worry, Luffy just went back to grab a coat and a small snack from Nami. We'll be your opponents for now. "
" Can I ask you something? Ms. Nami said that your captain can stretch his body, is it true?" Chopper asked Sanji who nodded while loosening his tie a little.
"That's right, he's a rubber man. That means he's a monster like you, Chopper. Actually, we all are." Sanji grinned at him.
" Our Vice Captain can cut through steel like it's just a piece of paper, one kick from me can destroy a building like that castle, our navigator whom you guys are currently taking care of can control the weather and is unmatched at navigating."
" Our sniper and gunslinger doesn't miss a shot fired, and our quartermaster is an expert at poison making, senbon throwing and is a master at running her Million Berry businesses. " Sanji knelt down and looked into his eyes.
" This world is full of 'monsters' like you, Chopper. Devil Fruits are a normal occurrence in the Grand Line. So you shouldn't hate yourself and simply because you have a strange ability." Sanji grinned at Chopper's surprised reaction.
" How did you—
"Know? Auntie Kureha told me and Luffy about your backstory while you weren't around. "
