91 Strange Encounter
Suddenly, the waves started shaking violently. The Straw Hat Pirates out on the deck narrowed their eyes as they saw a massive ship emerging from underwater.
"You're right Usopp, something is wrong." Luffy whispered as he looked up at the gigantic ship that towered the Going Merry.
It is a large round ship, different from most regular ships. Along with the ship's hippopotamus / White Walkie figure head.
One of the ship's unique features is the large steel plating around the ship, with a star-like pattern. Two large gears are seen towards the side of the ship.
The pirate ship's Jolly Roger depicts a skull with a round, metallic jaw licking its own lips and wearing a large crown, as well as the standard crossbones located behind it.
"Usopp. Now would be a great time to use the cannons." Luffy muttered while there were hundreds of muskets being pointed at him, Zoro and Nojiko.

The gigantic pirate ship and its crew taking the Straw Hat Pirates hostage had a large part of their ship blown up by a single cannonball.
While their enemy was panicking, Luffy quickly unsheathed his cutlass and glared at the ship.
"You're in my way. My cute navigator is sick and I'm not in the mood." Luffy muttered with a low voice.
" Divine Departure. "

The pirate ship in front of them was sliced cleanly in half horizontally. The ship started sinking as the crew onboard started jumping out of the ship to save themselves.
Luffy sheathed his cutlass. He then continued setting sail like nothing happened. The day quickly passed by and it was night time.
This time, everyone was sleeping in the room where the sick Nami was resting. Nami suddenly opened her eyes and slowly sat up. She looked around her and smiled as everyone was sleeping on the floor with blankets covering them.
She looked down to see a snoring Luffy that had his head on her bed while his body was sitting on the floor.
She smiled at him. She used whatever energy she had and leaned into him. She kissed him on the forehead.
"Chu~!" Nami giggled as Luffy suddenly smiled in his sleep after she kissed him. She laid back down on her back and went back to sleep with a smile on her face.

"Nami. O Nami?" Luffy whispered softly, waking Nami up.
"Yes, Luffy?" Nami smiled at him. Luffy grinned.
"We found an island. It's a snowy island." Luffy revealed, making her smile even wider.
"That's great Luffy." She whispered. Her stomach suddenly growled loudly, making Nami blush in embarrassment.
Luffy laughed a little and took out a small tray full of food. "Should I feed you?" Luffy asked her.
"Oh, no please! I can eat by myself. You're one for adventures, you should go with the others to find a doctor for me." Nami refused his offer.
"Feeding you is gonna take like 20 or 30 minutes. We have plenty of time before we dock on the island." Luffy argued. Nami sighed.
" Fine, but be gentle okay? " Nami looked at Luffy who gave her a thumbs up.
" Okay, Nami. Open wide because here comes the choo choo train~ Shishishishi!"

" This place is called Drum Island and it is a Winter Island. It was called the Drum Kingdom until their leader, Wapol fled the country after an attack from the Blackbeard Pirates." Kaya read out loud.
" This is supposed to be recent right? " Luffy asked her. Kaya nodded.
" Yes, I got this information from the newspapers Nami kept in the storage room. " Kaya explained. Luffy hummed.
" The kingdom is famous for having some of the best doctors in the Grand Line. So we literally arrived at the perfect place. " Kaya smiled after reading it. She looked at Luffy who was grinning too.
Kaya looked at the layout of the island they were about to arrive in. Drum Island is an extremely snowy country, with absolutely freezing temperatures that can be felt even from the surrounding seas.
There's a river that cuts deep into the island and where a waterfall of snow flows into. The ground is always covered in thick snow, making locomotion difficult for those not adapted to it, and avalanches may be triggered by the local fauna.
The country features a series of drum shaped mountains known as the Drum Rockies. The Drum Castle is located at the summit of the largest of the Drum Rockies, Drum Rock, at the very center of the island.
"If they just got attacked by the Blackbeard Pirates, then they should still be very cautious about outsiders, especially pirates like us. " Zoro pointed out.
" A little bit of manners and they'll welcome us as their own." Usopp puffed out his chest confidently.

"Or not." Usopp muttered as they looked around them to see that they were surrounded by angry villagers who demanded them to depart immediately.
"We don't care if you have a sick person on board!!"
"That trick won't work on us, evil pirates!!"
" This is our village and we won't let you in!! "
" Get out!! Otherwise we'll shoot you!! "
*BANG!!!*
Zoro widened his eyes as he arrived in front of Sanji and deflected a bullet fired towards the chef.
" Thanks I guess.... " Sanji grumbled. Zoro grunted. Usopp gasped as he saw what Luffy and Vivi were doing.
Luffy knelt down and bowed towards the villagers. It was his own idea so that he could make them see that he meant no harm. Vivi seeing this quickly followed his lead.
"I'm sorry for alarming you all! But please call a doctor! Please help my friend or she'll die!!" Luffy declared determinedly. The villagers stayed silent, not knowing what to do in this situation.
The head of the group stepped up and looked at Luffy who looked at him. The head of the group was an imposing tall man, with slicked black hair and a goatee. He covers his head with a green and white fur lined hat, equipped with ear-flaps against Drum Island's intense cold, and he always wears long boots.
He is Dalton and he is a former Royal Guard who once served under Wapol. He looked at Luffy. "I will take you to our village, just follow me." Dalton replied. Luffy and Vivi smiled at him.
Dalton turned around and looked back. "But let me tell you something, we have only one doctor on this island, and she is a witch! "
" Eh?"

Luffy was carrying Nami piggyback style while they were being guided by Dalton to the village. They saw a hiking bear, Dalton told them to bow to it to show respect, so they did it.
After a while, they arrived at Dalton's house. "You can lay her down over there. Let me warm the room up. Let me introduce myself, my name is Dalton. I'm a guardian of this island, please forgive us for treating all of you so badly at the port." Dalton introduced himself and apologized.
"No, it's fine. We heard what happened to your village through the newspaper so we can understand your reactions. " Luffy replied nonchalantly. Dalton nodded.
"Thank you for understanding, could you please explain her condition to me?" Dalton asked him. Luffy looked at Kaya who quickly stepped up.

"42 degrees. That's impossible. If it still increases she will die." Dalton whispered. Kaya nodded.
" We know what illness it is. It's a rare one she got when we were exploring an ancient island. We were hoping to find a doctor to cure it since we don't have the medical resources and expertise to do so " Kaya explained. Dalton hummed.
" You see that mountain up there? There's a castle there. Right now, there's no King living there. The only doctor in this country whom people call a witch, Doctor Kureha is living in that castle. " Dalton explained. He then told them a bunch of rumors about her that Luffy didn't really bother listening since he was busy taking care of Nami.
Luffy decided that he had enough of staying here. The longer Nami went without treatment, the faster he could lose her.
Luffy gently tapped the sleeping Nami on the face. "Luffy, please don't do that. She might get a headache from all of the hits." Kaya advised him. He ignored her and kept tapping her face.
" Mmm..... " Nami groaned and slowly opened her eyes. She looked at Luffy who smiled at her.
"Nami, if we don't go to the mountain, we can't see the doctor. Let's go hiking, I'll carry you like a princess." Luffy grinned at her. Nami smiled at him.
Sanji, Vivi, Usopp and Kaya wanted to object but they stopped seeing Nami giggle and raise her right hand at Luffy.
"Then, I'll leave it to you now, Luffy." Nami smiled warmly at him. Luffy grinned and intertwined his hand with hers.
"That's right, just trust me and you'll be up and about in no time! Shishishishishi!!!"
The captain and navigator have truly lost their minds.
