"So where are you going, Ace?" Luffy asked Ace. Currently, they were walking together in a random direction.

Ace didn't answer, instead she looked away from him. Luffy pouted. "So what's your hobby, Ace? Mine is mixology! It's really cool, you mix drinks together! Singing is also my hobby too but I'm pretty bad at it!" Luffy explained with an energetic grin. Ace gritted her teeth and clenched her fists tightly.

"Will you shut the fuck up?! Why are you trying so hard! No means no, damnit!" She shouted at him. Luffy grinned, which annoyed her even more.

"You know, I'm gonna stay by your side until you say yes to becoming my friend. I'll be beside you when you eat, when you sleep and even when you take a bath—Ooh.... " Luffy looked at Ace who kicked him in the balls. Ace smirked, noticing Luffy's silence. Suddenly, Luffy grinned broadly at him.

" Ha!! You think you did something didn't you! Well you didn't! I ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi! I'm a rubber man so I can't be hurt by blunt attacks! Bullets don't hurt me! " Luffy declared. Ace snorted.

" I don't believe you, liar! " Ace crossed her arms, making Luffy's grin broaden. He grabbed the flintlock that was strapped on the right side of his hip.

"Maybe this will change your mind." Luffy pointed the flintlock at his head. Ace widened her eyes in horror.

*BANG!!!!*

The flintlock was fired as the bullet bounced off Luffy and dropped to the ground. Luffy laughed at her horrified expression.

"You should look at your face!! Shishishishishi!!!" Luffy pointed at her. Ace gulped and quickly walked away from him.

'This guy's insane! He and the old geezer are the same! ' Ace thought in her mind. She growled as Luffy started walking beside her.

"Would you stop following me!" Ace shouted at him. Luffy shook his head.

"No can do, Ace! I'm gonna follow you to the depths of hell until you become my friend!" Luffy replied determinedly. Ace snorted and kept walking.

"Well, you'll be in hell forever then." She grumbled. She didn't say anything about Luffy walking beside her again.

Luffy kept narrowing his eyes as he stared at Ace. Ace got annoyed again and glared at him. "What do you want now?!" She shouted. Luffy pointed at her.

"Ya know, you look a lot like the Pirate King, Gold Roger. Are you his daughter or something?" Luffy asked. Ace gasped and stepped back.

"Oh. So you really are—Mmh!!!" Luffy narrowed his eyes as Ace covered his mouth with her hand.

"Say one word about it and I'll stab you in the heart with your own sword. " She threatened him. Luffy nodded repeatedly.

"Good." Ace muttered and let go of her hand on his mouth. They started walking together in silence again.

"I don't get it, shouldn't you be proud that the Pirate King is your dad?" Luffy asked her. Ace glared angrily at him.

"Hear me out, Ace." Luffy looked at her with a serious expression. Ace shuddered at his gaze, she thought he only had a happy go lucky side.

"What I was trying to say is why do you look like you hate the Pirate King so much?" Luffy asked her. Ace gritted her teeth.

"I'm the daughter of the devil. Why else would I not hate him?" Ace asked.

"I mean, he hasn't done anything to you to make him seem like one. So why hate him?" Ace turned to look at him.

" Haven't you heard the stories? About how he killed people for fun and was an evil maniac?! How could anyone not hate him? I'm glad he was executed!" Ace shouted. Luffy scratched his head.

" Who told you that? "

" Why do you want to—

"Just tell me damnit!!" Luffy looked at her angrily, making Ace jump in fear.

"Th-the villagers in Dawn Island." Ace stuttered. Luffy froze. He then palmed his face.

"Those are also the guys who warmed up to the Red Hair Pirates after a few days. What do they know about being a pirate? " Luffy asked out loud. He then looked at her.

" Believe me when I say this, they don't know shit about your dad. You're only seeing one side of the story. Go ask gramps about what he was like since he cornered and fought him loads of times before." Luffy advised.

" In conclusion, I think that your hate towards your father is stupid and dumb as fuck. " Luffy grinned at her. Ace looked at him with a surprised expression before huffing and turning away.

" Tch! You're dumb as fuck. You don't know anything about me."

"You don't know anything about me either, stupid! So stop being an emo and be proud of your father's accomplishments and the chance he gave you." Luffy replied. Ace stayed silent.

" I mean come on, don't tell me you're not amazed by what he did. He became Pirate King without eating a Devil Fruit. And he fought Whitebeard, Whitebeard! The strongest man alive! " Luffy shouted with pure amazement in his voice. Ace had to admit, that was kinda cool, but she will never say that out loud.

"He had a bounty of 5,564,800,000, and singlehandedly started the Golden Age of Pirates! He also smiled and laughed as he was about to be executed—

"Alright alright, shut up! I don't wanna hear anymore of your nerdy fanboying!" Ace interrupted him. Luffy grinned, knowing he had won.

"I know something that'll make you happy! C'mon, follow me!" Luffy grabbed Ace's hand and started running while dragging her along.

"H-hey! Let go of me!"

Luffy laughed happily as he ran towards Partys Bar while dragging Ace along with him.

When they arrived, Luffy looked at Ace who was breathing heavily. She had never run this far before.

"Oi! What's the big idea idiot!!" Ace shouted at him. Luffy grinned at her.

"We're here Ace!" He pointed at Partys Bar. Without warning, he grabbed Ace's hands again and went inside while dragging her.

"Makino! I brought a new friend!" Luffy announced. Makino looked at him and smiled.

"Hello Luffy! Ah, Ace, how are you?! I haven't seen you since you were a baby. You've grown so much, you're so pretty now too!! " Makino knelt in front of her while patting her head and pinching her soft face gently. Ace was blushing in embarrassment while glaring at Luffy who was just grinning at her.

"So what brings you here, Ace? You rarely come down to Foosha Village." Makino asked.

" I'm here to show my new friend around the village. " Luffy replied. Ace huffed and crossed her arms.

" I'm not your friend and I'll never be." Ace argued. Makino giggled.

"You shouldn't try to fight it, Ace. Once Luffy says you're his friend, you're going to be his friend forever. " Makino advised him. Ace smirked.

" Then I'll be the first one to say no. " Ace replied confidently, making Makino giggle harder.

"C'mon, Ace. Sit down. I'm gonna make you a drink!" Luffy invited her. Ace blinked before shrugging.

'Well, it's gonna taste like shit anyway. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I get to get the hell away from him.'

"Just make it quick, I don't have all day....."
