94 Clash
Luffy entered the infirmary where Nami was resting. Nami who was in the middle of reading a novel, looked at him curiously.
"Luffy? What do you need?" Nami asked him as Luffy searched around the room frantically.
"You wouldn't have happened to see my coat did you?" Luffy asked while opening a treasure chest. He dug through it, finding nothing he wanted in there.
"What do you mean Luffy?" Nami asked while putting the novel away.
"You know what I mean, the red coat I always drape over my back. I stuffed it in your bag when I climbed the mountain. When I searched for it in your bag, it was gone! " Luffy explained, surprising Nami.
" Oh! That's what you meant! It's right here, Luffy. " Nami revealed while holding up a perfectly folded coat. Luffy looked at her with a confused face.
" I didn't remember giving you that so that you can use it as a blanket." Luffy pointed out with an amused grin on his face, making Nami giggle.
" No silly, it wasn't like that at all. I noticed there were some holes in the coat so I decided to patch it up. Now it's as new as I first saw it. " Nami handed Luffy his coat back. Luffy grabbed it and looked over it. He grinned.
" Wow! It looks brand new! Thanks Nami! " Luffy sat down on the bed beside her. He cupped her face and kissed her deeply.
Nami blushed brightly and immediately kissed back. She even leaned into it too. The kiss lasted for a while before Luffy released it and grinned at her.
Nami blushed and looked away. "Don't do that so suddenly! Hmph!" Nami pouted cutely. Luffy laughed and kissed her on the nose gently.
"I'll be back okay?" Nami sighed and nodded. She smiled at him.
"Okay. See you later!"
"Shishishishishi!! Bye!!"

"So who's gonna fight him? " Sanji asked Chopper as he and the small reindeer were looking at their opponent. Wapol's subordinates have both been defeated.
Wapol was left. Luffy simply appeared in front of him while pointing his flintlock at his head.
"I haven't used this in a while." Luffy muttered before pulling the trigger.
*BOOM!!!*
Wapol dropped to the ground, dead. Luffy simply grabbed him and threw him down the mountain.
He looked at Chopper, Sanji and Kureha who were all deadpanning him. "That was the most anticlimactic shit I've ever seen in my life." The chef commented, Chopper nodded in agreement.
"You should've done that from the start, kid. Could've saved me loads of time." Kureha grumbled.
"Hey, Chopper."
Chopper stopped, he turned and looked at Luffy who gave him a thumbs up. "Don't think I didn't see what you did to that guy. Your transformations are pretty cool. That Rumble Ball thingy was pretty awesome as well. " Luffy complimented while grinning at him. He knelt down and looked into the small reindeer's eyes.
"We're gonna be good friends Chopper. And now after witnessing how good of a doctor and a fighter you are, I have to ask you this. Will you join my pirate crew as my crew's main doctor?" Luffy asked him. Chopper was stunned. He looked at Kureha who shrugged at him.
"I'll let you think about it, Chopper. But remember this, even if you say no, you'll still be my friend forever. Okay? " Luffy held out his fist while grinning confidently at Chopper.
"O-okay...." Chopper stuttered while he fist bumped Luffy. Luffy grinned at him and patted his hat.
"Don't be too hard on yourself, Chopper. There are plenty of people out there that find you cute." Luffy added before he and Sanji walked back to the infirmary.

"Hey Luffy, you wouldn't happen to see Wapol around here would you?" Zoro asked while approaching him. Luffy who was sparring with Sanji looked at him.
" That guy? I killed him already, what took you guys so long to get up here?" Luffy asked Zoro and looked at the rest of his crew who were also approaching him.
" Ah, it's a long story. I'm afraid it's gonna be boring as hell if I try to explain it to you. " Zoro replied, making Luffy nod. He looked at a bandaged up Dalton who was walking slowly towards him.
" So that thing that was flying down the mountain was Wapol? How about the other two?" He asked Luffy.
" Oh, Chopper took care of them before I killed Vapol." Luffy pointed at Chopper who was hiding the wrong way again. His body was sticking out while his head was being covered by the tree that was hiding behind.
"Hey guys! We got a new crew member! He's right over there!" Luffy called them while pointing at Chopper. The Straw Hat Pirates looked at Chopper who gulped.
'Blue nose. Ah! I see, he's fighting for us. ' Dalton thought before kneeling on the ground and bowing down at Luffy.
"Thank you very much! I am sure that from now on, the Drum Empire will become a better country! " Dalton thanked Luffy who grinned back at him.
"You're very welcome! Shishishishishi!!!"

The next day, Nami was fully healed. All that was left was to get Chopper to join. "Oi!! Chopper! You can't hide from me!! What the fuck is that hiding position Chopper!? You're supposed to hide your whole body, not just your head!!" Luffy pointed at Chopper who was in a very hilarious but also very pitiful hiding position. Chopper quickly stepped out and looked at Luffy.
"Hey! Chopper! Wanna become a pirate with me?!" Luffy asked happily. Chopper clenched his fists tightly.
" That's impossible!"
"Why is it impossible?! A pirate's life is very fun ya know! " Luffy asked him.
" I really want to, thank you. But I am a reindeer, I have hooves and horns, I also have a blue nose!!" Chopper gritted his teeth.
" Actually, I want to be a pirate too. But I'm not human, I'm a monster! I can't be friends with humans! That's why I came here just to thank you! Thank you.... for asking me.... But I will stay here. If you are bored, just come to visit me sometimes. " Chopper muttered sadly. Luffy gritted his teeth and looked at Chopper with a fiery passion in his eyes.
"JUST SHUT UP AND COME WITH US, CHOPPER!!!!!!"
Everyone smiled and grinned at Luffy's declaration. Luffy's shout was so passionate, even his straw hat fell off. Chopper had tears welling up in his eyes and snot flowing out of his nose.
"OK!!!!!!"

"So I'm going to return to being the quartermaster of the group now huh? " Kaya asked Luffy.
" You can also be Chopper's assistant. You have a lot on your hands, Kaya. You have connections to the black market, you're stinking rich and you can kick some ass with poison out of all things. " Luffy muttered. Kaya nodded.
" Then it's decided then, my current job in the crew is to be the crew's quartermaster, the informant, the geographer and the assistant doctor to Chopper. " Kaya decided, Luffy grinned at her.
" What is going on in the castle? " Nojiko mumbled her question as everyone heard a lot of screaming coming from the icy castle.
"It's probably auntie throwing knives at Chopper." Sanji grumbled and shivered, remembering her experience.
They saw Chopper in his Walk Point form which is his normal reindeer. He was also pulling a sled with his body.
"I'm being chased! Everyone get on! We're going down now!! " Chopper shouted. The Straw Hat Pirates grinned and hopped onto the sled.
"STOP!!!"
Zoro looked back to see Kureha throwing a barrage of knives at them. He unsheathed one of his katanas and quickly deflected them.
Chopper sprinted as fast as he could. He jumped off the mountain. To the people in the village below the mountains, when they looked up, they saw a reindeer pulling a sled with the full moon shining brightly behind them.
"WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Luffy and Usopp cheered loudly as the sled they were riding in slammed onto the snowy ground and started rushing down the snowy slope at superhuman speeds.
*BOOOOOM!!!!*
The sounds of multiple cannons firing forced Chopper to stop and transform back into his Brain Point form, which is Chopper's reindeer and human hybrid look, with a small body and large head.
Everyone looked at the sky. Chopper widened his eyes and looked at the scene in awe. "WOOOOOAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" He shouted, feeling pure awe witnessing the marvelous sight.
"That's so cool!" Luffy shouted as the snow started was now the color pink and the island was now covered with a miracle Sakura aura.
"WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" Chopper started crying loudly as tears flowed down his eyes uncontrollably. This was his late father figure's, Hiriluk's ink powder which he spent 30 years researching and completing.
Kureha was watching the pink snow with tears falling down her eyes. She smirked confidently.
"Take care, stupid son!!"
"WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"
