154 A New Friend

"Ugh, why's Franky being a pussy and hiding from us?" Luffy grumbled while he was lying on Nojiko's soft thighs.

"Iceburg-san did say we could take him by force. And using force is our greatest forte. " Zoro grinned while his hands were on Wado Ichimonji's grip. Luffy sat up and grinned mischievously.

"I have the perfect plan to get him to join. Gather around, crew. I'm gonna tell you my plan. "

Franky was growling angrily while he was running through Water 7 with nothing on his bottom.

He was trying to get his underwear back from one of the members of the Franky Family who stole it while ignoring the chaotic screams and panic from the locals seeing his dick.

Eventually, the underwear ends up in Luffy's hands. Luffy grinned at the cyborg. "Yo Franky! Thanks for building Sunny! But if you want your underwear back! Join my crew first!!!" Luffy shouted with a big grin on his face.

Suddenly, Franky was grabbed by Usopp and was thrown into a cannon. "Aim at Scrap Island!!" Usopp shouted. Nojiko grinned as she raised the cannon so that it faced the sky.

*BANG!!!*

Franky screamed as he was fired into the sky by the cannon. Luffy grinned as he threw the underwear to Chopper who was in his Walk Point form.

Luffy stretched out his hand. "Gomu Gomu no.... ROCKET!!!" Luffy shouted and slingshot himself towards the Thousand Sunny.

He landed on the lawn deck and looked at Franky who grunted as he stood up straight. Luffy grinned down at the cyborg.

"Once again, thanks for the ship! It's the greatest, we'll take good care of it!! But if you want your underwear back, then be our nakama!!! " Luffy declared. He then grinned evilly at him.

"If you don't, Robin here will use Dos Fleur, and she'll clutch your balls and squeeze your future generation out of them. " Luffy threatened as Robin crossed her arms in front of her.

His words sent shivers down Franky's spine as the cyborg covered his private parts. "Please miss, have mercy on me." Franky pleaded. Robin shook her head.

"Sorry, but there will be no mercy for you. Not until you join Luffy's crew." Robin replied. Franky grinded his teeth in annoyance.

" I genuinely want to go with you guys! But I have stuff to take care of here!! That's why I gave you guys a ship! First of all, I quit being a shipwright already! So that ship will be the last ship that I'd ever make, it was my wish, that is the dream ship!!!" Franky argued. Iceburg stood beside him.

" Franky, Sunny hasn't become your so-called dream ship yet. " Iceburg reminded him, making Franky widen his eyes.

'That's right!! That ship won't be completed with just blueprints!' Franky thought. Iceburg reminded Franky of his words as a child, he had said his "Dream Ship" will not be his dream ship just because he built it based on his blueprints.

It has to face the many challenges the sea has to offer, and once that day comes, he will become a shipwright and ride on that ship.

"Whatever you're doing on this island now, is all just atonement. You are still regretting and blaming yourself that Tom-san was taken on that day, but Tom-san already forgave you that day and directed you to a new road." Iceburg pointed at the Franky Family.

"You brought those punks in the backstreet together. You called yourself a bounty hunter and protected this island from looters. Everything was done to protect this water city that Tom-san loved as atonement. Though no one probably looked at it that way. "

" Of course not! That was never my intention!" Franky shouted back.

" You quit shipbuilding, and subdued yourself to live. Is that what you're gonna do forever?! Even if Tom-san and I forgive you, probably nothing will change huh..... Franky, why don't you forgive yourself!? You can live your own dream right?!" Iceburg asked Franky who began to cry.

The Franky Family then came out and apologized for their rash behavior. Franky shooed them, saying he decided what he will do with his life, and that he, as a boss, cannot follow a path his men prepared for him. Zambai, Franky's right hand man, then shouts to him that they were the ones who helped them out, so he should deserve to be happy as well.

Tears were flowing out of Franky's eyes uncontrollably. He sat on the ground and cried while his men were consoling him from afar, saying that they will forever be his men no matter how far away they are from each other.

Usopp widened his eyes, sensing trouble through using Observation Haki. He had attained better proficiency in using it by having a blindfold covering his eyes for the whole week he was training with Garp.

Everyone who had Observation Haki copied what Usopp did. They did a lot of sparring with each other, improving their proficiency in Observation Haki at the same time.

"Luffy! Your grandpa lied about going back to headquarters! They're coming back! They already took the offensive on the coast over there and are looking for us!" Usopp reported. Luffy narrowed his eyes and looked back at Franky.

"Here you go, dude! Now get on my ship, Franky!!" Luffy shouted. Franky grinned as he put on his underwear, finally covering his dick.

" You're amateurs that can only do poor touchup jobs, I'd pity this excellent ship if it didn't have a shipwright." Franky grinned broadly at them.

" Alright!! I'll take care of it!! I, the super Franky, will be the shipwright for your ship!!!" Franky declared. Luffy, Usopp and Chopper cheered.

" Woohoo!! Our new nakama!!" They cheered together. Franky looked at the luggage bag that the Franky Family threw at him a few minutes ago and grabbed it.

He got onto the Sunny as the Franky Family were crying their hearts out at their leader leaving them.

Franky looked at them. He then did his signature pose while grinning at them. "I'm gonna be away for a while!!! Stay SUPER for me will ya?!!!"

"Hell yeah bro!!!!!"

They started sailing away from Water 7 while Franky was looking back at the city with a small smile on his face.

Suddenly, the cyborg noticed something approaching their position. He looked to see it was Garp's battleship that was the one approaching them.

"Straw Hat, we got company." Franky pointed at the battleship. Luffy hummed and looked at it seriously.

They saw Garp holding a megaphone. "Ahem! Testing testing 123...." Garp grumbled through the megaphone. He then grinned at Luffy who was standing on Sunny's figurehead.

"Hey brat, can you hear me!? This is your grandpa. This is your grandpa." Garp announced himself.

" What are you doing here, gramps?!" Luffy asked him.

"Bwahahahahaha!!!! Before I sink your ship and let you drown and die, I will give you one last lesson!!!" Garp declared before putting the megaphone away.

" Ehhhhh?!!!! " The Straw Hats were in shock. Luffy looked at Zoro and Sanji.

" Zoro! Sanji! Prepare to deflect whatever he throws at us!! " Luffy shouted at them but they were confused.

"What do you mean throw—

" GENKOTSU METEOR!!!!!"

*BOOOM!!!!*

"What the fuck!!" Sanji cursed out loud as a cannonball exploded on the seas beside them. The explosion pushed Sunny away to the left.

"I told you! He throws cannonballs like they're baseballs!!! Now defend Sunny!!"

" Aye Captain!! "

On his battleship, Garp laughed as he ordered his men to bring him 1000 cannonballs.

" Genkotsu Meteor Stream! A ship wouldn't stand a chance of getting attacked by something like that. " Koby whispered. Smoker shook his head.

" You forgot Koby, Straw Hat and his crew aren't inexperienced chumps. Just watch and see. " Smoker grumbled. Garp cracked his knuckles and grinned menacingly.

" Shall we begin our last lesson, kids? "

" Advance the ship at full speed! We'll smash the cannonballs! " Luffy ordered and his crew quickly got to it. He grinned at his grandpa and cracked his knuckles at the same time.

"Gramps, thanks for teaching me. I'm gonna put your lessons to good use." Luffy muttered as Garp started throwing cannonball after cannonball at them.

Luffy used Geppo to rush at the cannonballs while Zoro and Sanji cut and kicked them away.

Luffy grabbed one of the cannonballs that was heading towards him and threw it back at Garp's battleship.

Smoker widened his eyes and leaped towards it. He imbued his Seastone jitte with Busoshoku Haki and smashed them into the sea, creating a large explosion that splashed water everywhere.

"Bwahahahahaha!!!!!" Garp laughed as he kept throwing cannonballs at his grandson and his crew mates.

"Shishishishishi!!!!" Luffy was laughing too while throwing the cannonballs back at his grandpa.

Smoker, Tashigi and Koby were working hard to deflect or cut them while Luffy's crew were firing their own cannonballs at Garp's battleship.

"Hey, now that I think about it. The captain's family is full of legends. Garp the Fist is his gramps, Rebellious Dragon is his old man, and he himself is Straw Hat Luffy. He also grew up with Fire Fist Ace too. What kind of coincidence is that?" Franky mumbled to himself ignoring the chaos happening around him.

He then grinned confidently. "Alright!!! Time to show these Marines how SUPER we pirates are!!!"
