28 7 Years Later

6 Years have passed, Luffy was now 16 years old and Ace was 17 years old. They both have grown a lot.

Luffy was now 195.58cm (6'5") while Ace was 182.88(6'0" ). Both of them have grown tremendously taller in six years. Their heights could make their respective families proud.

They have grown stronger too, thanks to Gyatsu's and Garp's training them. Luffy had quickly introduced Ace to Gyatsu immediately after Sabo left to become a Revolutionary.

Gyatsu welcomed her with a warm smile. He taught her a lot of things like naginatajutsu, which is the martial art of wielding the naginata.

Ace had learned how to use Soru from Luffy and more of them from Garp. Luffy learned them too. They also learned the secret seventh Rokushiki, the Rokuogan.

Their natural strength and speed have improved dramatically over the years. They improved so much, Garp needed to use more and more of his strength to spar with both of them.

They learned a lot by reading Garp's diaries together. They also learned knowledge that they shouldn't have probably learned. They learned about Gold Roger's real name, which was Gold D Roger.

They learned about the God Valley Incident. The God Valley Incident took place at an island known as God Valley, 38 years before present time.

It consisted of a battle between the Rocks Pirates led by Rocks D Xebec and a joint effort of the Roger Pirates and the Marines.

For unknown reasons, the World Nobles and some of their slaves were present at God Valley during this incident.

In order to protect them from Rocks D. Xebec and his crew, who were planning an attack on the World Nobles, Marine Vice-Admiral Monkey D. Garp had to form a temporary alliance with Gol D. Roger, captain of the Roger Pirates.

The Rocks Pirates were eventually defeated by the Pirate-Marine alliance, leading to Rocks' death and the crew's disbandment.

The results of this particular event would be the ones to brand Garp with massive recognition and the title of 'Hero of the Marines'.

He was granted many opportunities to be promoted to admiral, but he turned them down each time due to not wanting to be the World Nobles' direct subordinate. Roger's involvement itself, on the other hand, was covered up by the World Government.

The remaining members of the Rocks Pirates such as Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido and Shiki began forming various crews of their own.

And due to them not choosing to talk about their experience in their original crew, its existence became largely unknown for generations to come.

The island of God Valley also ended up mysteriously vanishing, leaving no trace of its existence behind and no longer showing up in maps of the world.

Ace and Luffy asked Garp about it for more details about the incident, but Garp replied to their questions with "You already got enough of them."

They also learned about what Haki was in the diaries. Haki is a mysterious power that allows the user to utilize their own spiritual energy for various purposes.

All living beings in the world are capable of learning Haki; however, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it.

Apparently Haki users are common in the New World which is the second half of the Grand Line, rare in Paradise which was the first half of the Grand Line, and basically non-existent in the Four Blues.

Ace and Luffy decided to not explore it further though as they thought learning it would be time wasting since they had loads of other stuff to learn and master. There was always time to learn it, just not now.

Garp noticed something weird about Ace and Luffy. Whenever Luffy was talking, Ace would look at him with a dreamy look. And whenever Ace was talking, Luffy would look at her with a dreamy look too.

Garp palmed his face and groaned after realizing what it was. 'They have a crush on each other. ' He thought after realizing it.

Nonetheless, Garp was happy for them. He even became a wingman for Luffy. Luffy knew what Garp was doing, and he was happy about it.

Luffy had helped Ace get over her unnecessary hate for her father by having her talk with Garp.

The talks were extremely helpful as Ace knew more about her father from Garp's point of view. She was kinda grateful that her father told Garp to take custody of her before he was executed.

She was extremely grateful for her mother after finding out that she kept her gestated in her stomach for an additional 15 months in order to protect her.

Luffy had changed a lot. For one, he had gone through puberty and was now looking at women, especially Makino and Ace in a different way. He started admiring their beauty more and more. He didn't perv on them, he just loved their charm.

He had also gotten even more muscular and had the body of a God now. He swore Ace would look at him with a blush on her face but he wasn't sure.

When Ace got her first period, she was so scared she started crying. Luffy didn't know what to do so he cried with her. Until Makino found them and helped Ace.

And that was all that happened. There was only one day left before Ace set off to start her journey to becoming a famous pirate.

It was night time. Ace and Luffy were sitting together on the grass, watching the stars shining beautifully in the night sky.

"Ace, so tomorrow is the start of your journey." Luffy whispered. Ace nodded and leaned into his shoulder.

"I'm gonna miss you, ya know." She whispered back.

"Me too. You better look good in your bounty poster. " Luffy added.

" So? Are you gonna jack off to it? You got the real thing right here. " Ace pointed at herself. Luffy laughed.

Not only is Ace tall, she is a very beautiful girl. Her growth in the chest department is drastic. If you ask Luffy, he would probably say it's a C cup.

"Yeah, staring at you is enough to satisfy me. Shishishishishi." Luffy laughed and coughed awkwardly.

"Eww! Luffy!!" Ace slapped his arm while giggling a little. Luffy smiled and looked into her eyes.

"Luffy?" She called out to him but he was in a daze. He leaned into her as she widened her eyes a little.

"Chu~!" Luffy kissed her on the lips. Ace widened her eyes but she didn't push him away.

Luffy released the kiss and got away from her. He looked away. "Sorry about that, I thought it was the perfect time to do it." He muttered.

His face was turned around by Ace's hand. "Hey, the feeling is mutual." She replied confidently. Luffy smiled a little. Ace pointed at her soft lips.

"So ummm.... Can you do it again?" She asked with a blush on her face. Luffy grinned.

"Sure!" Luffy replied and they leaned into each other again.

"Chu~! Chu~! Chu~!"
