113 Deep Remembrances II

Fisher Tiger's speech was filled with profound sadness, and his heartfelt words moved the entire Sun Pirates crew to tears. They all knew that if it weren't for those mysterious women, they might not have their captain with them today.

Veyron and the onlookers were left bewildered by this revelation. Who were these enigmatic women, and why was it that no one could remember them, no matter how hard they tried? The question that lingered was deceptively simple: Who was the captain of the Kuja Fleet? It wasn't Aphelandra, and it wasn't Primrose. How was it possible that these two key figures couldn't recall the captain?

"You're telling me that these women saved Fisher Tiger... a year ago?" Veyron asked in disbelief.

Desperation filled Fisher Tiger's eyes as he searched his memory. After a moment, he retrieved three neatly folded wanted posters from his pockets and presented them to Veyron.

These wanted posters bore the names and pictures of three gorgeous and audacious happy women:

- Boa Hancock, Dead or Alive, 2.000.000.000 Bellies.

- Boa Sandersonia, Dead or Alive, 1.000.000.000 Bellies.

- Boa Marigold, Dead or Alive, 1.000.000.000 Bellies.

"Boa Sandersonia, Boa Marigold, and Boa Hancock...! IT IS THEM, THEY'RE THE ONES THAT SAVED ME," Fisher Tiger declared.

Veyron took the wanted posters from Fisher Tiger, his eyes filled with uncertainty. How was it possible that he couldn't remember these three beautiful women, who were also Boa sisters and captains of the Kuja Pirate ship?

Mihawk and Primrose reacted with equal concern. Mihawk, in particular, was deeply troubled by the realization that someone had tampered with their memories.

But what struck them as even more absurd was the idea that somebody had tampered with everyone's memories. These women had been forgotten by the entire world. What kind of twisted power could achieve such a feat?

Veyron delved deep into his memories, recalling the events from the manga. He remembered the woman he had met in Amazon Lily, who had initially been an antagonist and had even kicked a kitten aside. She later fell in love with Luffy and played a crucial role in the events at Marineford. She had two sisters, Boa Marigold and Boa Sandersonia, although their appearances on the wanted posters differed slightly from what he remembered. Boa Marigold and Boa Sandersonia were almost completely different, but those distinguishing features of them were still there.

"There is no way I could have forgotten... someone made me forget!" Veyron realized, his anger growing as he clenched those posters.

RUMBLE!!!

In his frustration and confusion, Veyron released his Conqueror's Haki, causing a shockwave of power. Shanks and Gion rushed to his side, trying to calm him down. Mihawk stepped forward, holding Veyron's cheeks gently.

"Something is amiss here, Veyron," Mihawk said with concern.

"I know, Mom... someone has done something incredibly wicked, snatching away our memories," Veyron replied.

"But how could this be possible, affecting all of us?" Gion wondered, finding it difficult to believe such a power existed.

Veyron questioned Shanks and Gion about any knowledge of a Devil Fruit or power capable of erasing someone's memory completely. Despite their extensive knowledge of the One Piece world, they couldn't recall any such power.

"I don't know of any Devil Fruit like that, but if it exists, it should be eradicated—it's too evil," Shanks declared.

As the onlookers observed Veyron's distress, Shirahoshi looked at him with concern. He seemed like a different person from the kind and compassionate young man she had met earlier.

Neptune and Otohime exchanged glances, realizing that they couldn't assist with this deep-seated issue. They recalled their past encounters with the Kuja Pirates but were baffled that they, too, couldn't remember the captain and the vice chiefs.

Primrose continued to gaze at the images on the wanted posters, her hands trembling. These were Boa sisters, and their apparent age indicated that they might be her daughters. "I can't remember them... no matter how hard I try," she admitted.

Veyron made a decision. "I'm going to Dressrosa right now. There are too many things that don't make sense, and the source of everything seems to be that island. Gion, do you have an Eternal Pose to reach that island?"

Having never been to Dressrosa and lacking any vivre cards from individuals in that location, Veyron's best chance was to rely on Gion.

Gion sighed, looking into her speedboat. She had a collection of Eternal Poses in various locations, a privilege of her position as an admiral. "This one will take you to Dressrosa. I hope you'll return it to me when you have the opportunity."

"Thanks," Veyron replied, leaning in for a kiss. However, Gion put a finger to his lips, flustered.

"I told you, not in public," she reminded him reluctantly, even just a kiss on the cheek would have been unacceptable given both of their positions.

"Spoilsport," Veyron playfully remarked. He turned away but then reached back, holding Gion's wrist and whispering in her ear. "When I return... we can share that kiss."

Gion blushed but maintained her stern demeanour. "Focus. There are important matters to attend to. Make sure to come back safely."

Veyron nodded and gave Gion a kiss on the cheek before turning to Primrose, his official partner. Gion sighed but eventually smiled, looking forward to his return.

"Mom, Prim... I'll contact you two in case I find something. Keep an eye out in case that another vessel arrives."

Mihawk sighed, noting that Veyron had once again referred to her as "Mom." However, given the circumstances, she couldn't blame him.

"Please get to the bottom of this," Primrose urged.

"I will," Veyron assured them. He gave Primrose and Mihawk one last kiss before separating from them and levitating away from the crowd.

"Lord Veyron... have a safe journey!" Shirahoshi waved, hoping he would return soon for more adventures.

"Good luck, -jamon!" Neptune called out.

"Please come back safely!" Otohime added her well wishes.

As everyone cheered for him, Veyron nodded and enveloped himself in a dense layer of red lightning, reminiscent of his battle with Shanks.

"I'm going!"

In a flash, a streak of red lightning shot out at incredible speed, leaving a trail that was too fast for the eye to follow. It pierced through the protective layer and ascended to the surface, leaving nothing but a faint red haze in its wake.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!

The thunderous boom that followed was deafening, and everyone had to cover their ears.

"He's truly a lightning god... this movement speed, I only know three people that may be able to keep up. But none of them could do so inside water, It's just incomprehensible," Shanks remarked, marvelling at Veyron's abilities that seemed to defy logic.

"He already told you... he can repel the sea energy".

"It doesn't matter how much you tell me, it still doesn't make sense".

...

"Let's go, girls, we have a lot of things to unravel while he's away," Mihawk said, taking Primrose's hand and gesturing for Gion to follow as they returned to the Ryugu Castle.

There was still a major issue to sort out.

Who was going to keep this national tribute? who would bear the ire of the world government?
