8 Chapter 8 - The Flame That Is Fueled Every Day

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

In the middle of the forest and with the sun high in the sky, the sound of the wind constantly flowed through Noah's kicks. With a triple kick, followed by a spinning kick, he followed a flow of attacks that was hard to follow with the naked eye.

An intense mix of Taekwondo and Capoeira was executed in such a way that predicting the next attack would be pointless. With monstrous agility and power, he could easily change the trajectories of the attack and still cause a deep impact.

Every time he struck the air, his figure approached a tree until he got close enough to get in range. And with just one roundhouse kick, the shockwave charged with power echoed.

BANG!

With a thunderous sound, the tree was split in half, its center completely destroyed. With the noise and the force of the impact of the falling tree, the leaves briefly rose as Noah stared at the result of his training.

Felling trees was something he had been able to do a few days ago, so it wasn't really impressive. But the stronger his body became, the easier the task got until he could do it with a casual kick.

During the last week of training, his power was increasing every day, his body and mind being elevated to new levels of power. He could feel a bubbling power within him, a power he had never accessed and that made adrenaline run through his blood.

"Tomorrow is the day..." With a casual wave of his fingers, his sword and shirt were brought by the wind and he caught them. Putting the shirt on his shoulder and holding the sword, he began to walk towards the village.

Today was the seventh day of his training, and he was just one step away from completing the bone marrow refinement. And he didn't achieve it because he was lazy, but his sword training and wind art demanded a time that he had to share.

If he dared to consume many red orbs while still consuming purple orbs and wind orbs, he was asking to explode with so much energy. So he had to decrease the rate at which he was getting stronger to increase control over the power he already had.

Despite it being noon now, neither Nami nor Nojiko were here. He had dismissed them on the fifth day of training and they only stayed to watch him train briefly before returning to their duties.

Nami has already gone to Arlong and convinced him that she was planning to leave after a few days, and also drew and delivered some maps to him. She couldn't let him visit the village while Noah was there, and did her best to prevent this.

Meanwhile, Nojiko really behaved like a wife to Noah. She cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner, washed his clothes, bought new ones, and even sewed some torn ones. Despite the jokes they sometimes made, this became as natural as breathing for the two of them.

After walking a bit, Noah arrived in the village and the first person he saw waiting for him was the village sheriff, Genzo. He is a man of medium stature with a mustache and black hair. His most striking feature is definitely that his body is full of scars.

The reason he was there is because, on the fourth day of training, with an explosive curiosity about him and finally no longer wanting to keep up appearances, Genzo came to Nami and Nojiko and asked about Noah.

And as the sheriff was someone very trustworthy for the two of them, even seeing him as a father figure, they told him about the one week plan. He obviously contested, but Noah just cut a plant with his sword that was three meters away and it was enough to convince him a little.

"Boy, are you sure you're ready? One week is very little for this." With his usual serious face, Genzo saw how Noah was still drenched in sweat, but still calm and composed. Although it brought him confidence, it was not enough.

"Mr. Genzo, I've already said that you don't need to worry. If there's someone in the East Blue who can defeat Arlong, that someone is me." Noah lightly tapped Genzo's shoulders. Sure there are a few more people, but it's not as if he needed to know.

"Boy, don't be casual about this. You are talking about your life, and more importantly, about the lives of Nami and Nojiko, who are counting on you." For Genzo, who watched them grow up and helped them from a young age, their safety and happiness was the most important thing.

"And believe me when I say that I value their lives more than anything. I wouldn't dare bring anything but happiness to their lives." Despite being a bit dramatic here, Noah was really serious.

With two women as beautiful as they are, living together for a week had long inflamed a passion in him. Even if it is light and he tries not to feed it until he is sure he will have both with him, it was still there, waiting for fuel. And he knew that both were slowly feeling the same for him as well.

"Cough, boy, you are very enthusiastic..." Genzo coughed a bit before lightly tapping Noah's shoulders and began to walk back slowly. After a safe distance, he quickly moved away, "Good luck, boy!"

"What?" Noah looked strangely at him, before feeling something on his back and immediately knowing what was happening.

Looking back, he saw that Nami and Nojiko were watching him through the window. And by how their faces were red, he knew they had heard what he said. Even though they were silent, he could see there was a slight fire in their eyes.

'Play it cool, bro.'

Walking as if nothing had happened, Noah entered the house while they were still looking at him and threw the dirty clothes in a basket. Feeling the smell that invaded the house coming from the kitchen, he spoke in an appreciative tone.

"The smell is great." After that, he grabbed a towel on the wall and headed towards the bathroom, "I'm going to take a shower."

Left alone in the room, still too shocked by what they had heard from Noah a few moments ago, Nami and Nojiko began to imagine things they had been holding back for the past few days.

Women were no different from men when it came to the physical responses of lust, except that they controlled it better. So just as Noah felt very attracted to them, the two also felt an attraction for him. And if fed in the right way, it could ignite into a passion as fast as a fire in dry bush.

"I'm going to finish lunch." Nojiko started walking strangely to the kitchen. And as soon as she lost sight of her sister, she passed by the bathroom before stepping back a few steps and slightly opening the door. Peeking inside, Nojiko felt the fire inside her burn even more.

"I-I think I'm going to wash some clothes..." Nami stuttered a bit when she spoke, going to pick up the clothes in the basket.

Seeing that her sister had gone to the kitchen, Nami took the basket to the backyard of the house. And as soon as she picked up Noah's clothes, she looked from side to side before bringing it to her nose.

'Holy...' x2

After a particularly strange lunch, Noah this time chose to stay at home and rest. He had no more reason to train harder right now and hit a momentary bottleneck. Not to mention he also ran out of resources.

As his strength increased, so did his absorption rate and his use of the orbs. So his power increase every day was huge, making the previous day's resources insufficient. And he wasn't always lucky in the hunting dimension. Dying there was as easy as breathing.

Taking advantage of the brief rest after a week of hellish and uninterrupted training, Noah slept on the living room couch comfortably. He wouldn't enter the hunting dimension unless it was night, so he didn't worry about this nap.

Some time later, Nojiko was returning from the orchard when she saw Noah lying on the couch asleep.

'Finally decided to take a break?' With a smile on her face, Nojiko watched him sleep for a while.

She then went to her room and took the blanket she used and covered him. Seeing how at peace he was at the moment, unlike the rush and determination when he was doing intense training, she couldn't help but reach out and, after some hesitation, lightly stroke his face.

Even though she was an adult, she had never felt what she was feeling for any other man in her life, this euphoria of contact and the anxiety of presence. Every moment he was with her was fun and full of playfulness, and after a long time she managed to put a smile on her face with ease. Her sister was the same, even in moments of anger where Noah deliberately annoyed her.

"I believe in you..." Speaking words in whispers, Nojiko was not aware of how strongly her heart was beating now. Looking at his face, she felt a sudden urge she couldn't explain.

As quickly, but as quietly as she could, Nojiko sealed her lips onto his, lingering for a brief moment before standing up as if she had committed a crime. Realizing what she had done, Nojiko blushed heavily and averted her gaze from his lips. But she shouldn't have done that.

"N-na-" Nojiko slightly opened her mouth in shock to see her sister standing there, watching everything she had done.

"Do you have a moment to talk?" Nami whispered the words as she smiled like the devil. Her chest was now burning in intense fury, and a jealousy like she had never felt before.

"No..." Nojiko shook her head in denial before running to the kitchen!

Watching her sister run to the kitchen, Nami did not follow her. Staying in the living room with Noah, she looked between him and where her sister had gone. And with a smile on her face, she chose wisely.

Approaching the unconscious Noah, she lowered her torso forward and came face to face with him. And with a slight push, she kissed him and spent a little more time than her sister. When she was satisfied, she got up and started walking towards the kitchen.

"Now we are even..." She said with a smile on her face and seemed to be at peace.

With the silence that followed in the room, Noah seemed to be still sleeping when a smile formed on his lips. Adjusting a bit on the couch, he snorted and laughed.

"How complicated you all are..."

°°°

Appearing on the grassy field as always, Noah rose with a jump and analyzed where he was before smiling. Seeing some green wolves and white rabbits in the distance, he cracked his entire body.

"Little wolves, I think you can say goodbye to your peace!"
