1 Hundred Pirates

4 years before luffy sets sail .

Marine Headquarters

"20 and he managed to wipe out an entire pirate crew with a combined bounty of a 180 million berries … this ain't a small accomplishment . Could even well trained Marine Captains complete such achievements by themselves Without being overwhelmed much less ?" Fleet Admiral Sengoku stated seriously as he crossed his arms before leaning back to contemplate on the situation at hand .

"News have been spreading throughout the grandline since the incident happened , many are calling him a hero especially the inhabitants from Crown island where it all happened. While others have taken to calling him the white death." Commodore Brannew pronounces

"White death huh? It's rather fitting" Vice admiral comil muttered off

"It was even more relieving that Kuzan was nearby to assess the situation after a message for help was sent out from the island's local marine base . Unfortunately the commander of the 110th marine branch overseeing the island , Senior Captain Bartolan Reaver was killed in action by pirates , Captain Bucanon Vane and Amlack Cage .His men fought on bravely even though a many died within the ensuing fight , holding the line against the pirates long enough for the civilians to escape into the nearby mountains and for this unsung hero to surprisingly arrive from nowhere"

"Bounty

Captain -Bucanon Vane (£70,000,000)"

"Bounty

Vice Captain -Lorgar (£40,000,000) "

"Bounty

Sailing master - Amlack Cage(£30 million )"

"The remaining bounty was split between 7 other members of the crew who had perished alongside their vice captain at the hands of Captain Reaver . " Brannew voiced putting an end to his report.

"Have any of you spoken to him as yet …. other than kuzan ?" Tsuru questioned as she even saw garp engrossed which was rare even in certain situations.

' 18 and managed to massacre over 100 pirates within the grand line by himself ' Garp surmised .

' He read the reports of how pirate Captain Bucanon Vane was impaled with steel rods while a many of his lackeys were filled with either gash wounds, holes larger than a bullet , crushed ribs , broken necks or killed by . What seemed to be punch or kick marks when they were examined or blunt force trauma . But what surprised him the most was Vane's impalement . It had a certain ,"sick touch to it" .

The man was basically crucified on the ground , blood leaking from his body until his life eventually had done the same.'

'He couldn't certainly agree with the methods of execution especially as sickening as it was , but what he could admire was the youths firm stand against the forces of evil.

He read reports of Vane and his crew's crimes across the Grand line and they were not pretty .

"Induction in the navy is a must . Especially with all that talent and strength"Akainu grunts as he sat to the far side of the room a perpetual frown also plastered on his face.

"There's no doubt in my mind about that Sakazuki"Sengoku acknowledged.

"What perplexes me is the answer he might give If he refuses to join the navy and if we continue to pressure him to do so . Then there is a chance that he'll react with force . And It would be a waste to get rid of such a young man especially one with such potential . "

"That's where your wrong Sengoku San . Worry not for his sense of morality and trust . I believe he has a good sense for order and justice plus recent events have proven where his path leads . If not then I wouldn't have brought him in . And if any issues should arise with him then I'll take full responsibility. " Admiral Aokiji voiced .

...

"You know its no small feat doing what you did ? "

"So i've been told , nor was it easy. I almost got killed fighting Vane's Elite members much less him " the youth replied grimly as he rubbed his chest feeling the bandage beneath his shirt .

'Death by bisection didn't seem like a good way to go ' he remarked thoughtfully.

"But even so what you did was a crime no matter the amount of people you might have saved . You still committed mass murder even if they were criminals . "Tsuru stated

"I did indeed . But my intention was never to murder the criminals no matter how much of a scum they were except for one " He stated unfazed by what he had done .

"Hmm , so you say . But what about captain Vane ? It seemed like killing him wasn't enough , but you also … tortured the man? What can you say of that? "Tsuru pressed

"The man never deserved a swift death , and with all the pain and suffering he had caused amongst the seas . I'd say I carried out justice . Its a shame he died from blood loss he deserved even worse or perhaps sending him to that prison of the you marines seemed better "

"I see. And what do you think will happen to you now?"Tsuru asked as she stared at the youth curiously.

"Its simple really , and you know the answer to that . I'll have to join your organization. That or imprisonment though there were no choices in the matter from the get go." He answered

Tsuru chuckles *

"You have a good head on that body of yours . And indeed you will join the marines whether you like it or not . Though your intentions are questionable but from what i've learned so far you've done what any other decent human being would have done given they had the power you possess. We also got reports that you and Captain Reaver were close , like good friends perhaps , and I'd take it that him dying by Vane's hand had thrown all that restraint you might've had against the pirates out the window . "The old naval female officer commented making him shift in his chair .

A look of sadness swiftly came upon his face , and before one could even see it went as quickly as it came replaced by the stoic demeanor he once held.

"Yes he was my friend . When the people of that town scorned me and called me freak because of my eyes , hence why i lived so far away from them and into the outskirts. But Captain Reaver , he was different . Though the townsfolk were an annoyance with their blatant derision I didn't let it bother me and in the end I saved a many of my haters from their ill fated doom . Captain Reaver was a wise man. He knew what to tell you when you were down and he tried his best to help people where ever he can. He was like one of those nice uncles . " The youth known as Gyro reminisced as he gave a sad chuckle .

Locks of his orange hair hanging down to his face covering his unnatural eyes.

"Sending him to the special camp wouldn't seem outlandish but he'd be missing out on the core values that makes one … a true marine . None of us ever missed out on basic training back in our day . " Sengoku stated .

"It's best that he goes through basic training than flinging him into the special camp immediately . After a few weeks of basic training and learning marine protocols then we'll give him an early Graduation like we do the many with special abilities or those who show great potential and send them to the special training camp . " Tsuru advised

"Hmm what a drag . And I wanted him on my ship as earliest as possible but it seems like I'd have to wait a bit . " Aokiji complained casually as he yawned .

" Kuzan it's not for you to decide where he goes after graduation!" Sengoku schooled.
