1 Chapter 1 GAME GAME NO MI
The world of One Piece has always been a world filled with mystery, excitement and the impossible. Many would believe that anyone in this world could accomplish anything they dreamed of and more with the right amount of drive and willpower. However there is a force in the world its inhabitants could never hope to disobey, the oldest and strongest of all things, Fate. no matter what you or anyone else may believe, this world had a set start and a set end, to defy Fate was never a possibility in this world, until now.
NORTH BLUE
On a mysterious island in the North Blue a young man is seen to be unconscious, with nothing to his name but a small box, a newspaper and a worn-out-looking sword placed on his bare chest. The teenager around the age of sixteen seems to be in decent shape, with medium length silver hair paired with a wild-looking face. Many would guess that this man was a third-rate bounty hunter or some mook pirate, but they would be wrong. The strangest thing is that this man never landed on this island nor was he born here, so the question remains. How is this possible? People don't just appear out of thin air. The answers would come soon as the man's eyes began to flutter open.
"Ughhh, why the hell does my neck hurt so much?" The young man wakes up with a groan rolling his neck around in an attempt to alleviate the soreness. Quickly he catches a smell that should not be here or at least where he thought he was.
*sniff* *sniff*
"What the hell…. Why does it smell like the sea ?" The man finally opens his eyes and jumps to his feet, observing his surroundings. All he can see for miles is a lush jungle, various colorful plants litter the ground.
"Dude, where am I? All I can rembe.. AHHH" a fierce pain stops me from continuing. 'Why can't I remember anything? What the hell is my name!' I think to myself before jumping back in fright as a blue screen clouds my vision.
INITIALIZING...….

"No no no, hold the fuck on. I'm a gamer? But why the hell don't I have my memories" I ask the system hoping it's mildly sentient, seconds later I realize it was false hope. 'Damn the bastard that sent me here couldn't even give me a shirt, what kind of asshole did my soul piss off. Wait, what is that?' I turn to see a Katana with a worn-out guard on the ground, a newspaper, and an oddly nice-looking small box.
Keeping my curiosity with the box in check I grab the sword and begin to inspect it, pulling out from the oddly star-shaped hilt, a surprisingly sharp and quality sword meets my gaze,' why does this sword look so familiar?'

"Meito? No, there's no way.." I say out loud before dropping the sword quickly and grabbing the newspaper like a lifeline. Picking it up I notice that it's still fresh with barely any marks or blemishes to speak of, it has to be recent. Looking over the title I feel my stomach drop as beads of sweat begin falling down my forehead.
10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE PIRATE KINGS EXECUTION
"Well it's decided, somebody wants me dead and fast. Dropped in the world of one piece with nothing but pants, a sword and a random box that I'm now praying is my salvation" I say with dread as my eyes travel down the paper finding more information. The red-haired pirates have just arrived and taken the Grand line by storm, I'm sure Shanks is at least Vice-Admiral level at this time. Reports on Kaido and Big mom clashing in the New World. 'Oh here's something, Tom's Workers have just completed the sea train, meaning Iceberg is about to receive the plans for Pluton'. Well, that puts everything in perspective.
"Still doesn't answer where the hell I actually am, just the general area," I say to myself before my eyes travel down to the bottom of the paper. 'North Blue Edition' greets me to my surprise'.
'The North blue huh? There's not a lot known about this part of the ocean besides the Vinsmoke family and the various tidbits of information and clashes that happened here. This is where Law and Donquixote steal the Ope ope no mi as well as the birthplace of a lot of strong people, mostly admirals. 'Not the most dangerous place you could be dropped, at least I'm not on Whole cake island, would've just killed myself at that point'.
'Hold on, why can I remember so much about an anime but not even my own name, something or someone must have messed with my mind'

Opening up the small ornate box, obviously the perfect size to hold a fruit inside.
"Come on, at least a logia please" I beg as the lid finally opens showing an empty box.
"I was trolled, seriously an empty box. Fucking bullshit!" I yell out in anger before I kick the empty box at the nearest tree. Breathing out in an attempt to cool off, I hear an oddly metallic sound.
*CLING* *CLANG*
'What the hell? I thought that box was empty' Intone before running over to the box to find what looks like a necklace made of cheap string and a hexagon-shaped metal box at the end. Noticing a key inserted into the middle I quickly turn it and open up the casing.
"HAHAHA, a fucking compass from earth seriously. Ah, you got me God, I apologize for whatever I did!" I apologize hoping this is the last time he messes with me like this, at least until Observe finished scanning the compass.

DESCRIPTION:A normal-looking compass that does not function to navigate the seas however it points to the thing the user wants the most in the world.
RESTRICTIONS: You must have at least a general idea of where something is or a clear picture of the object or location in your mind before the compass will give you your desired destination. Can't be used for the same object or location twice.
(A/N. The second restriction is very specific. For example, he could use it to find Luffy once, but if he ever needed to find Luffy again he could just wait for him to build his crew and just search for a specific member, there are minor loopholes)
I drop the compass in shock, my hands shaking in disbelief. No fruit could possibly compare to this and I fucking kicked it. With a start, I grab the compass and immediately throw it into my inventory in fear of losing it. 'This changes everything!!' I intone with Vigor before jumping for joy.
So many opportunities and islands to explore, could it show me the way to the last island? Probably not, I'd bet that the entire New world is too big to be considered the general area. Who knows, but there are so many unclaimed fruits out there and countless unclaimed blades. I'd have to become at least warlord level before even thinking of leaving the North blue, I can't be blinded by the rewards this easily and go out and die like cannon fodder.
'Honestly, before I plan anything I have to see if there's even a village on this Island, whatever island I'm on. Wait don't I have the perfect thing for that' I think to myself happily before taking the compass. Willing to want to find a village on this island more than anything else. the needle slowly shifts pointing northeast.
'Awesome. so at least I know that an island is good enough to be considered a 'general idea' of the location' I think to myself with a smile as I strap Shigure to my hip and begin my first adventure in this world.
'Huh, isn't this the sword Tashigi used? Honestly, I thought it was at least a skillful-grade sword. She must've had some real talent to win those battles with only a graded blade' I think to myself as I draw the sword and give it a few test swipes to get a feel for it. I can't remember if I ever used a sword in my old life but it feels oddly familiar.
Walking through the jungle I begin wondering why I have not encountered any animals yet, figuring I'd at least have to scare a monkey or two off after an hour of walking. I wondered if this was some type of hunting ground the inhabitants of this island use or worse there was an animal here the others stay clear of. Like karma heard my reply a large boar jumps out from an underbrush with anger visible in its hulking frame. 'Fuck it had to be the second option didn't it, how the hell am I suppose to survive a 2-meter tall boar' I intone cursing my luck before running up the closest tree as the boar comes charging at me in the same second.
*SQUEEEELLLLL*
The monster boar yelled in fury before bashing his head and horns against the trunk of the tree, almost breaking it in half based on the loud creaking noise that resounded. 'Well shit I'm not going to be able to hide for long'

'Well shit, if he's only worth a thousand xp he can't be that tough, plus I have a graded blade. I should easily be able to pierce its skin, the problem remains that if I'm not fast enough it won't matter how good my sword is, I'll be squashed' I think to myself finding an unknown resolve and confidence as I use my ten stat points on dexterity, feeling my muscle tighten up and contract hurt like hell but I didn't have much time to think about it as the boar decides to make another lap.
Knowing the tree won't likely survive another attack I move to the edge of the branch facing the direction the beast is charging in from, looking at the fifteen-foot drop in front of me I'm surprised to feel not even a spec of fear at the distance, well that's probably because I don't intend to touch the ground.
Just as the boar makes it within five feet of the trunk, I drop straight down over it, my blade poised downwards as I let gravity and my body weight take control of the power. With a loud creak, the admittedly thin tree finally snaps as the boar comes to a halt expecting his prey to fall with the tree.
*SHING* *SQUEELLLLL*
The boar screamed in panic as I finally reached the end of my fall, landing directly on his back with my sword hilt deep in the center of his back. 'Shit that was lucky, I was aiming for his head and completely overshot it. Luckily I hit his spine' I intone before the boar tried to shake me off, tried being the keyword as his joints failed him and he collapsed in a sad heap. With a sad groan, the boar finally gave up accepting its fate
Jumping off the paralyzed boar I quickly sliced his neck with a quick slash ending the fight before it even really started.

'Oh, it was only level 3, damn why was I so wary of it to begin with? The quest! It made it sound powerful' I think to myself slightly pissed as I look over the quest rewards.

'Two level-ups at once, very productive first day. Still no skills though, I guess I might as well cook some of this boar, there's no telling how far I am away from the village.' I think to myself noticing the sun beginning to set. I go toward the broken tree and begin collecting small pieces for a starter and twigs for fuel, rubbing the twig together with my newly tripled dexterity the twigs catch fire in only a few minutes of effort. Quickly skinning and bleeding out a chunk of its thigh then stabbing it through with a sharpened stick, setting it to rest over the rising flame.
Grabbing the hide of the boar I cut into a rough shape of a cloak and wrapped it around myself in an attempt to fight off the incoming coldness of the night. Thinking back on the recent rewards from the boar quest I come to realize I haven't really checked what the function of Gacha coins is. Seeing as how I already have six I should be able to do something with them, pulling up my status and trying to physically touch the coin counter a new screen appears flashing like a gambling machine.

'Well damn, might as well call it the gambling system considering how much of a focus this seems to have on my development, if only there was a way to increase my luck. 'Shit my food' Intone before quickly grabbing the mildly burnt pork thigh off the fire, this has been a crazy fucking day. This world is definitely pretty high on the danger scale but honestly, from all the worlds in my memory this was definitely the one that sounded the funniest to explore and live in. So many different islands, uncovered secrets, the mystery of Haki, the origin of Devil fruits, the full truth of the void century, the real leader of the World Government, hell even the technology is interesting. With these thoughts in mind, I slowly drift off into sleep marking the end of my first day in One piece.
