52 Chapter 52

Josh was sitting at his desk, reading the report about his gainings. Meanwhile, sitting next to him on the chair, a little looking girl, Marianne, placed some tea on his desk.

Robin was drinking some juice while examining Josh with her blue eyes.

"Is there something that bothers you?" Said Marianne, examining Josh's face. "You seemed to be quite annoyed."

Josh put his hand on her head and said. "Nothing really. Did you eat your meal? I need you to grow soon."

Blushing and scoffing, she turned her head with blush and said. "I don't need you to remind me."

Josh only smiled and took a sip from his tea. Although he is quite bothered by the visit of the agents yesterday, he couldn't just show it in front of the girls.

Turning to Robin, Josh examined her. Noticing his glance, her eyelids shook as she stared at him. "What?"

"Robin. I'm just asking. Don't be surprised. But do you think that your identity may accidentally have slipped outside?"

"No." She said confidently. "I kept collecting information. I know how to be careful. With a new face like this, not even my parent would recognise me."

Robin was no longer a tanned woman but has skin white as snow. Looking more like her version after the two years time skip.

"Still… you are pretty," Josh said, only to feel a little girl stomping on his foot, which didn't hurt at all. "You too." Josh placed his hand on Marianne's head.

"Fufufufu…" Robin chuckled, but soon, that smile was replaced by a suddenly serious face. "Is there something that makes you ask that?"

Robin could see through him. Josh put the report and the tea to the side and decided to talk.

"Yesterday, I have been visited by some agents, CP11. They have asked me about Crocodile, and you."

The teacup almost fell down from Robin's hand. However, Marianne quickly caught it.

Robin, for one second, had her face frozen. But soon, it came back to normal.

"What did you say?"

"I know nothing. I said Mr 0 was an ass hole and a mastermind behind a plan of taking down a country. Meanwhile, you weren't there when I arrived in Alabasta." Josh let a sigh. "The fuckers asked me if I know something else knows about Crocodile's plans."

Robin bit on her bottom lip. Josh stood up and patted her shoulder. "Don't worry, I won't ever give you up to them. You are my woman now, don't forget that. I will protect you."

Robin pretended to smile and stared up at his face. "I know. But there is one problem."

"What is it?"

"The World Movement likes to play it dirty. They always put the blame on someone. What worried you were their question if someone else knows, right?"

"Yeah," Josh said, sighing. "Seems they want to get rid of someone or put the blame on."

Soon, the door was kicked open, flying and crushing on the wall behind Josh.

Everyone turned their face to see Mikita entering. She was panting and had a worried expression on her face, her hand holding a newspaper.

"Chocolate, what is it?" Josh stared at her slender hand, which held the newspaper.

"Read it!" Mikita took it and threw it at Josh, who held it.

Opening the newspaper, Josh saw Crocodile's picture at the main headline. "Taking down one of the Warlords who has violated the warlord code. The credit goes to the World Government internal networks?"

Josh flinched. His worry seemed to be in its place. He then gazed at Robin.

Robin nodded. "I told you. They will try to play dirty, take the credit, and always would look good. Meanwhile, poor people would suffer, killed. They have no problem of killing mother and child, let alone some nobody in their eyes."

Robin was staring blankly in her juice cup. She had some hate in her tone, yet it was suppressed very well that it's hard to tell.

"You just said they play dirty and likes to put the blame on the others?" Marianne rubbed her ear hole as she looked at Robin.

Josh patted Marianne's head, knowing that Marianne isn't fully aware of the situation. Josh, on the other hand, was calm since he had been mentally prepared for this.

"Ha- Ha-" Mikita lifted her head and stared at everyone across the room, gaining their attention.

"Read the next page!"

Josh flipped the pages as he heard Mikita and started reading. As it seems, the world Government has arrested some members of the Baroque Works.

"Daze Bonez has escaped. Zala's coffee shop has been burned, no trace for her. Mr 3, Mr 2, Mr 4 and his partner as well are taken down."

Josh's facial expression has frozen. The moment he flipped the next page, Josh was almost shocked.

There were bounties for his head, Marianne's, Gem's, Melissa, and Mikita. Robin, aka now Robina, didn't have any bounty on her head.

"My head… 70 million berries." Josh opened his eyes widely. "Mikita, 20 million. Marianne, 200 thousand berries."

Silence and shock took over the atmosphere. While everyone was staring at him with wide-opened eyes, Josh ripped off the newspaper and looked at the roof.

Robin joined her hands together and stared between her legs, a cold drop of sweat running down her forehead.

"The mother****ing dirty World Government and their a**hole agents." Josh cursed.

He turned his head, to see Marianne hugging his arm and staring up at his face with her big eyes. Turning again, Mikita was staring at him, saying. "What should we do now." Robin, however, didn't talk at all.

Josh suddenly felt the weight the leader should feel. It was heavy. He was carrying everyone on his shoulder.

'Now, it seems I can't just live a simple life while collecting money and having these women sleeping with me.'

Josh bit on his hip bottom lip. He knows that he can't just stay right as he is and feel shocked. He must make his decision.

Clenching his fist, he turned to Robin and asked. "How much money we have."

If there is something to do, is to use the money he has been saving, gets the points, and move around the sea, getting stronger than ever, and then live his dreams again.

Mikita could understand what Josh is thinking, and she smiled. "Things about to turn wild isn't it."

"Yes." Josh nodded at his blonde girlfriend.

Robin shook her head. "Each Casino has almost 300-400 million berries, thanks to the pirates and their wealth. If we exclude the expenses and taxes, I can assume that we totally have near 700 million Berries in two months."

Unlike Crocodile who was spending his money constantly, paying agents, and having thousands of people hired, Josh was hunting on his own while stealing from Pirates and people who gamble.

His project was very profitable. It would be without doubt that he would be making millions in years if he made a series of casinos across the world.

However, the dirty world government did it again.

Robin took a sip from her tea and stared up. "We should move quickly, some agents, or marines, would come."

"I know," Josh said. Other than the 200 points he has stocked in his system, he can gain another 600 or 700 points in case he didn't keep something for expenses, which is a huge boost for himself.

Well, his goal from accumulating is his hope to get something to his legendary Devil Fruit's weakness.

Standing up, Josh said, "Let's move. We will kick the guests, take the money. Robin, prepare us a ship, Marianne, call Melissa and Gem, and tell them to bring the money. We have to move quickly."

After that, Josh promised that he would make a huge gamble — draws — with the system and see if he can get something that makes the world regret disturbing his lifestyle.
