131 Chapter 131

Josh stared at the party that seemed to be watching him with interest. "And you are?"

"The God's army." Said one man who wore white robes and had curly black hair.

'Why does it feel like I'm going against the church… hold on…' Josh realised something and chuckled. 'I am the Demon here. I see the irony here.'

Josh eyed the group. There were a couple of guys who looked like pigs with hones, and they also wore white robes.

"What are you going to do?" Josh opened his arms and started walking slowly. "Chant some holy script on me…"

"Tsk." One of them clicked his tongue. He was bald, and he was wearing sunglasses. "He defeated Satori and now he thinks himself a big devil"

From the tree, jumped a very big fat man. He was so tall, around 3.66 meters tall, and he was large.

When Josh lifted his head, he said. "You're too tall. Are you trying to compensate for something?"

"Die!" he screamed as he lifted his hand and tried to slap Josh.

Josh took a step to the side, letting that palm slip by him.

"ATA!" With a strong wave from his arm, Josh's hand turned into a blurry arc that passed by that man's arm.

The large man stopped moving and looked down at Josh.

"The more you resist, the more painful it becomes. That what you get for defying the god here." Yama, the leader of the divine soldiers, lifted his hand again and punched toward Josh with all of his might. However, Josh was standing there and was sneering at him. Yama felt something was missing when his fist didn't contact Josh's face.

Josh opened his mouth. "You need this to punch."

Josh then threw something. Yama caught it subconsciously. It was a full arm, with a hand.

Yama then realised one thing.

It's his arm!

Opening his eyes widely, he looked at his right arm to find it was severed.

Before he could even realise that shock he was at, Josh grew larger, 2.5 meters long, and looked like a demon.

When a shadow overwhelmed Yama, he raised his head and stared at the Devil looking at him.

The Divine Soldiers commander started shuttering when the demon flapped its wings.

Before he could realise what was going on, Josh slapped him across the face, sending him flying across the city. Yama's body destroyed many huge trees on the way before it rested.

The other soldiers, who looked like pigs, turned their heads in the direction Yama was sent flying to. They then looked at Josh.

The swordman from the tree jumped and landed on his feet. He pointed with his sword toward Josh. "Don't feel fear. He is just a Devil Fruit user, and he is just all talk."

Josh didn't tell them that he is like 5-6 times more powerful in this form. Moreover, he can use his demonic powers more perfectly in this form.

"You think so…" He asked in a threatening tone, unleashing the Wrath attribute.

Everyone here, from the priests to the divine soldiers started shuttering. They felt their hearts pumping blood at a usual rate. It felt like they would have a heart attack very soon.

"Attack." Yelled the man who had a great sword. Following his scream, which was like a wake-up call, the divine soldiers, who looked like humanoid pigs, moved forward and dashed at the devil, aiming their palm, which had shells on them.

The demon, floating, extended his hand to the right, staring at the priests and the pigs. There was also a black man, 2.2 meters tall, who looked like Coolio, dashed with his group toward Josh.

'It's waste not to hear him rap.' Thought Josh as he changed the attribute of his demonic energy. A light ball formed on his palm, and it turned into a light sword.

Using one of his old techniques, Judgement Slash, Josh used an advanced version of Shave, using both of his legs and wings, moving at incredible speed.

The guys who attacked Josh stopped in the middle of their way.

"What happened?" the priest with the sword stopped.

A net of light wrapped everyone, strings of light were in the air.

"We have been cut." Someone said.

The lines vanished to thin air. Josh appeared behind them, his sword vanishing.

*Splash*

What happened next was a scene that would be censored if it was ever animated. Blood splashed everywhere. Josh turned his head and looked at the cuts that appeared on everyone.

Blood spread out of those wounds, and the divine soldiers started falling. Some lost limb or two. And some died.

Although Josh didn't intend to kill since he was taking things with ease, Josh didn't seem to care about their lives or anything. It's not like the innocent blood is on him.

Josh went back to his human form. He, however, had a deep debate if he became too cold.

Josh exhaled, clenched his fist, and started walking forward, ignoring the blood bath behind him.

It's not the first time he had done this; he had even cut a man in pieces once. But was the killing unnecessary? Josh decided not to bother himself with this internal debate.

He has his goal, his aims, and he would move forward. He won't bother his appetite. End of story.

When Josh was done with his thoughts, he lifted his head, feeling many masses going to fall on him. His eyelids shook when the wet drop hit it, so gently.

The sunlight was slowly vanishing, shade taking over the land as black clouds covered the sun.

It started raining suddenly, without a previous warning.

*Rumble*

A flash of lightning went across the sky, making Josh blind for a part of a second as the flash filled his sight. A dooming sound could be heard after the flash of lightning vanished, making Josh's ears ring.

Josh rubbed his sensitive ears. 'How could Luffy see well, or hear well after getting struck by lightning…' Josh had this question as he was done from rubbing his ear and smirked.

"So, the god is angry," Josh said, mocking.

From the black clouds, lightning started gathering. Josh jumped back slightly. In his original spot, the lightning struck the ground, in Josh's original spot, filling the surroundings with strong light.

"You've taken the fun so far. You'll have to face the godly ordeal." Said a strong imposing voice, staring at Josh, who had a hand in front of his eyes. Josh slowly lowered his hand.
