"Man, the Gacha System is pretty generous with the guaranteed pull and the drop rates, but the Crystal is so hard to farm." Luke stares at the gacha window in annoyance.
Compared to Fate/Grand Order which only has 0.8% for the SSR Servant and Genshin Impact, with 1.6% for the 5-Star Character. The System's Gacha is definitely better. But still, the Crystal farming is way worst than farming for Saint Quartz and Primogems.
"Oi System, can you decrease the price of the gacha? Make it like 1000 crystals per 10 pulls or something?"
[I'm sorry, but I can't do that.] Oh, well, worth trying.
It's been five months since the day Luke arrived at Dawn Island. He cleared all the misunderstandings regarding the peeping accident and rejected Lucy's offer for him to join her on her journey. He easily becomes a friend with Monkey D. Lucy, while it takes time for Portgas D. Ann to warm up to him.
But hey, at least he completed the first mission before the time limit.
The timeline in this world is confusing. For example, Ann and Lucy are slightly older than they are supposed to be. In canon, both of the siblings decided to travel through the sea once they hit seventeen years old, while in this timeline, both of them want to set sail when they turn twenty.
At first, he is afraid that Lucy won't meet up with her future pirate crew because they will probably get killed before she meets them. The Marine executes Zoro, Usopp is killed by Captain Kuro in cold blood, and Sanji probably will be executed by Don Kreig. Basically, those are the worst possibility that will happen to them.
Thankfully the current date is 1518, a year before Ace set his sail to become the Pirate King, two years before he disbanded Spade Pirates and joined the Whitebeard's Pirates, and four years before Luffy became a pirate.
Their current age is:
Monkey D. Lucy - 16 Years Old
Portgas D. Ann - 19 Years Old
Weird, isn't it?
But who cares? The timeline in One Piece is weird from the very beginning.

At first, he didn't quite understand how the system status work, but after a while, he managed to grasp and understand it. Although levelling up gives him the status point, he also can raise his stats except for [Luck] by doing physical activity.
Punching trees and lifting weights > Increase his [Strength]
Taking hits and general working out > Increase his [Endurance]
Climbing the mountain and doing running drills > Increase his [Agility]
It doesn't increase much, but it is worth trying; the only reason his [Endurance] stats skyrocketed from J to H is all thanks to Lucy and Ann, who beat him up in duels. So far, his battle record against them is 1302 lost to Ann, and 907 lost to Lucy. No win and no draw.
Did he put up a good fight?
The answer is No.
Lucy and Ann didn't even need to use their power on him. They just use a normal hard punch to knock him out, yes, a single punch. Luke finds himself to be rather pathetic compared to both of them. Well, he is kind of expecting cause Lucy is the protagonist while Ann is the cool older sibling of the protagonist.
"Gomu Gomu no..." Talking about them, Lucy is currently struggling against her older sister. She is a monster, but Ann is way above her level. With the power of her devil fruit, Lucy stretches her right hand to the point where a normal human can't do "Pistol!!!" with a shout; she throws a long straight punch at Ann, who dodges it with little to no effort.
"That almost got me, Lucy." Ann said with a grin before grabbing Lucy's right hand with both hands, "But..." she began to swing Lucy around, making the latter scream in the background.
"Not good enough!" Ann harshly throws her sister at a tree.
Seriously...How can he catch up with them?
(5 Hours Later - Near a Bear lair)
Due to losing against Ann, Lucy was forced to be the one who would get the dinner for them. Logically it should be Luke, but Ann told Lucy that Luke isn't even strong enough to fight a wild bear by himself.
"Come here, meat!!!" She is really a crazy girl. Who the heck eats a bear for dinner when they can have something easier to catch, like chicken or birds?
While Lucy is trying her best to catch a bear, Luke and Ann sit on a tree branch next to each other in silence. Without Lucy being in the conversation, they feel rather awkward with each other.
"Hey, Luke." Ann is trying to break the silence between them.
"Hmmm? What is it?"
"What do you think about us?" Luke gives her a weird stare.
What does he think about them?
Is it a suitable question to ask other human beings?
He doesn't know if it is suitable or not cause, despite knowing them for months. He still lacks human interaction.
This is the fate of a Gacha Gamer...
"What do I think about you?" Ann nodded at him.
"I like both of you," Luke said with a smile. "At first, I thought you were scary, and Lucy was crazy." This is his true first impression regarding them. For the first few weeks, Ann antagonizes him to the point where he is scared for his dear life, while Lucy always bothers him, even during his bath.
"That rude." Ann pouted at him, which was a cute sight to see.
"Hahahahaha...But after becoming a friend with you guys. Both of you are strong, cool, amazing, incredibly sexy and cute, so I cannot help but to feel attracted."
"Sexy? Cute? You not thinking about weird stuff, aren't you?" Ann teasingly says while slapping playfully at his lap.
"Hahahahahaha, maybe?"
Ann looked at him uncomfortably, like she wanted to say something important. Didn't they just talk to each other? Why did she feel uncomfortable now? Did she have a period or something?
"Hey, Luke. I have a hypothetical question. Can you answer it with the truth?"
"Go on." What is going on with her?
"Remember hypothetically, what will you do if you meet the child of the worst criminal like Gol D. Roger?"
Did she just say Gol D. Roger with the capital D?
Honestly, if she said this to people who know Roger, they will found out about her heritage easily because the World Government made a mistake by calling Gol D. Roger as Gold Roger.
Well, only smart people will figure it out.
"Why are you asking that?"
"Just a hypothetical question from me. You don't need to answer it."
It is clear to him that she obviously wants him to answer her 'hypothetical' question...
"To be honest, I don't give a damn." It's not like he wants to make Ann happy with his answer, but this is his real thought regarding the topic of 'child of a criminal' stuff.
"What do you mean by that?" Ann looked at him curiously, waiting for his response.
"Sins of the parents aren't for a child to bear," Luke stated, looking at the red sky. "No matter if the parents are rapists, murderers, robbers or all in one type of scums. Their children don't have to do anything with their crimes. The child isn't their parents. They are their own person."
Even though he can't understand the pain of being a criminal's child, he still wants to make it right. No children deserve to be punished for their parent's crimes. It's inhumanity and injustice thing to do.
"Is that so?" a warm smile appeared on Ann's face. She placed her head on Luke's right shoulder, which caught him off-guard.
"Hey, Luke.."
"Y-Yeah?" He can't help but stutter at the sudden affectional action of Ann. it can't be helped considering he died as a virgin and doesn't even have a history of dating girls...
He doesn't have time for girls because he already has gacha waifu to simp for...
"I think I'm falling for you..." She kissed his right cheek passionately, which left him in a confused state.
