'Ah, I am having a headache again. This is killing me, ahhhhh'

*Splash, Splash*

In the East Blue near a small coast, a sea monster with the appearance of an eel was swinging around and making splashes in the water. He had blue and white fins on each side with a huge body that could swallow an average adult human whole. He was making loud noises like he was in pain, after a while of swinging around and struggling he finally stopped. He looked around for a while and then started staring at the coast near him, reminiscing about the painful past that haunted him for months.

'Because that human kid with the stretchy arms punched me I am suffering like this, if I ever find him again I will tear him to shreds before eating him.' The sea monster thought with ill intentions, he shook his huge head and dived inside. He was looking for prey, it was time for his meal, he looked around for a while.

Then he saw a small object thinking it was a normal fish, he opened his mouth and dashed toward it. By the time he reached the place it was at the object was already swallowed by him, then he stopped moving around for a while.

'Baah, Baah, what disgusting taste, what did I eat? I've never tasted anything this disgusting.' He thought.

Even though he did not chew it at all and just bit it and immediately swallowed it, he still felt the disgusting taste of it.

Adding to him remembering the painful past he ate this bitter thing, he was pissed off and tried to move again to find something else to eat. However he felt like he was carrying a boulder, he could not move at all. He slowly struggled to move but it was barely effective.

Then he felt an unknown sensation, it was like he was shrinking, rapidly shrinking. His large body was starting to disappear and his fins were retreating to his body. He kept shrinking until he was less than 1/5 of his original body.

Surprisingly his whole look changed to a human with large white wings and a long narrow tail. He looked exactly like any other human without those wings and his tail, he had brown skin similar to his old form. He even manifested dark hair with a spiky hairstyle, however his red sclera did not change. He had many features of his old form left and he also looked like a human with wings like he was a hybrid.

"What is going on with my body??" He screamed with a physical voice unlike before he was physically speaking.

"Why do I look like those disgusting humans, and why can't I move at all? I feel so heavy."

He was very confused, he did not know he just ate a devil fruit, tho unlike humans the only burden with it is he becomes a hammer. He can still breathe underwater and like before normally lives.

*WOOOSH*

While confused and trying to figure out things a huge wave suddenly appeared behind him, if it was his old body this wave would not even budge him but it pushed him to the surface. The wave was going to drag him back when the wings started moving on it's own.

"AHH, why am I flying!! Put me down, put me down." He did not know his thoughts to move when he was in the ocean was what triggered the devil fruit. He flew slowly for a while screaming "Put me down", and it finally stopped flapping. However he did not fall down to the ocean but the land near him, this was the Foosha Village, the hometown of Luffy.

"Finally back down…but I-I am out of the water… this is the first time I've come outside of the water."

He was very surprised plus this another complex feeling, he then looked at himself inspecting his body.

"I've really turned into a human with wings, how did this happen and why. Is it because of that strange disgusting thing I ate?" He immediately understood things that would have caused it, even though he was not just brainless before it seems like his intelligence increased, turning into a human.

"I can't go back on the water either, after changing to this appearance I could not swim. Do humans have this problem? Is that why I can't swim?" This was very confusing to him; he never encountered something like this before.

*Bong, Bong*

He started jumping up and down, this human body was very complex to him but he felt like he could control it like his old one. He was fascinated by the features of the human body, and started running around in circles and jumping.

"Wow this body is so useful, you can do so many things you can't do in water. Should I feel good about getting this type of a body or be sad for losing my own." While he was jumping around and talking to himself he heard a person's footsteps behind him.

"Hello who might you be and why are you jumping around in the backside of my bar." It was a woman's voice, he turned around and the person he saw was actually Makino, the person who could be considered the adoptive mother of Luffy.

She looked at him weirdly, it was not normal seeing a human with red sclera and wings and a tail. She thought those features were just a fake custom, because what she was seeing right now was too unbelievable. And to just assume it is a devil fruit would be wrong, knowing how rare it is seeing devil fruit users in the East Blue.

He looked at her back strangely, he felt like this person was very familiar somehow, like he had seen her somewhere. However he could not remember, this was not unusual for him, he does not remember insignificant humans he sees everywhere. The only people who had a prominent image in his mind were Shanks when he pressured him without flinching a hand, and Luffy who he always cursed for making him suffer.

"What's wrong?" She also felt like this person was very familiar, if she knew he was the feared Lord of the coast she would be beyond surprised.

"Human...looks delicious! I haven't eaten my meal yet." He said while smirking.

"Delicious? What do you mean?" She was getting anxious when she heard that line, so she slowly stepped back.

"Haha"

He jumped up while his mouth was wide open, when she saw that she started running for her life.

"AHHHHH"
