88 Chapter 88

'Whitebeard, huh. This is his territory, so it isn't weird for him to be here.'

"Just dock the ships and don't worry about them. They have no reason to attack us."

We docked the ships at port. I looked over at Whitebeards ship, and I could see a lot of his men looking our way. But they weren't any of the strong guys, so I didn't care.

"Captain. The four of us have something to do here. Can we please go?" asked Brogy

"Yeah sure, Go ahead."

"Thank you, Captain!" x4

They jumped off the ship and started walking into Fish-Man Island while everyone around them took a step back.

I looked at Robin.

"Ey Robin, I heard that there is a Poneglyph on this island. How about you and Perona go and search for it?"

"We'll we more than happy to." said Robin

"What do you mean by we?" asked Perona

"We can go and shop for some cute stuff afterward." said Robin

"I'm in!"

They walked off the ship.

*POP*

The coating around the ships suddenly popped.

"Ey Paulie, you can coat it again, right?"

"It's an easy task, sir."

"Good, and what about that project."

He smiled.

"Stage 1 is complete."

"Of how many stages?"

"5."

"Good, we're making progress. I knew I could count on you."

"Hehe, you're embarrassing me."

"How about you go and take a couple of days off."

He smiled.

"Thank you, Captain!"

He immediately disappeared.

"Sabo, you and the rest can go do something fun too. I will stay here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, just don't get yourself in any problems."

"Don't worry about us; we're the most responsible of the crew."

"Yeah, right. Just fuck off already."

He took the last people on the deck and left. I went to the giant's training room and saw Vlad and the wolf bandaged up. Vlad seemed to be awake. I walked up to them.

"I never thought that I would see you two back alive."

"Tsk, I just had a little hiccup."

"And what is that little hiccup called?"

"I think that they call him Kizaru."

"Hahaha, I thought that you were stronger than this."

"Shut up!"

"Deuce, how are they?"

"They're fine. They just need to rest."

"Alright, you, Ace, and Robert can go and have fun on the island."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, just go. I'm planning to stay on this island for a while, so there's enough time.."

"I'm not complaining." said Robert

"Alright, if something unexpected happens, call me." said Deuce

"You got it."

They walked out of the training room. I looked at Vlad.

"What exactly happened there?"

"Tsk. Nothing happened. I didn't manage to do anything. All those explosions were Kizaru's doing."

"Hahaha!"

"Shut up, you bastard! You couldn't have done better!"

"But I just did tho. I beat up one of those Celestial bastards, and Kizaru confronted me but ended up retreating."

"How!?"

"I'm just awesome like that. So what's your next plan?"

He looked away.

"There is no next plan. Even though I have this fruit, I'm useless. I'll just have to find someplace to live out my useless life."

"Like you'll be able to do that. By showing your face out there, you have just written your own death certificate. Those 5 Elders won't let you live in peace. They will use everything they have to hunt you down."

"Tsk. It seems like I'm done for. You might as well just kill me right now and end my miserable life."

*AWOO*

The wolf suddenly stood up and jumped in between us.

"It seems like he doesn't want you to die. It's too bad that you've already given up hope, or I would have asked you to join my crew. I have no use for someone who wants to kill himself."

"Why would you want me?"

"Isn't it obvious? You have a Devil Fruit that can make even a useless person useful. There is not much more to it than that tho. You're basically useless. But if you change your mind and aren't suicidal anymore, both of you will be welcome in my crew."

I turned around and started walking away.

'I have no use for someone who doesn't care about his life.'

I walked out of the training room and up to the deck. I saw Marco on Whitebeard's ship looking at me. I waved at him.

"Yo, Marco."

He waved back.

"Sup."

"Where's your pops?"

"Taking care of business."

"I didn't expect a Yonko to do things himself, but I guess Whitebeard is just that type of guy. Say, how about you come here and have a couple of drinks with me."

"I don't drink with enemies."

"What? Since when did we become enemies."

"Your reputation makes you not the guy we want to be friends with."

"Sigh, how disappointing. Well, I'll go and drink with myself then."

I took out a flask from my pocket and opened it up. It let out a fresh aroma.

*SNIFF*

Everyone on the Whitebeard ship was drooling.

"What is that?" asked Marco

"I don't tell secrets to enemies."

I started drinking it.

"Aahh, it's so good! Which idiot would pass up this rare and good drink?"

"You definitely live up to your reputation. Ignore him, everyone. He isn't someone you want to be associated with."

"I expected you to get pissed of, but it seems like the Whitebeard Pirates aren't idiots. But that doesn't mean that this drink will become any less delicious. Hahahaha."

*BAM*

It felt like there was an earthquake. I looked at the island and saw a big old man with a white mustache.

"Did you have fun laughing at my sons, brat?"

'Shit, me and my stupid mouth.'

"Yeah, it was fun."

Everyone's jaws dropped to the ground.

'I better tape my mouth shut before I'm completely fucked.'

He glared at me and I smiled at him awkwardly.

"I'm just joking, there is no need to take it so seriously."

"Purururu, purururu, purururu."

My Den Den Mushi went off and I picked it up.

"Captain."

"What is it, Perona?"

"We're being followed by a scary guy. We think that he wants to kill us."

"Where are you guys!?"

"We're a- AAHH!"

"PERONA, PERONA!"

"Gacha."

'Fuck!'

'Shit they're out of my reach!'

"I don't have time to keep talking with you, old man. I hope that you won't touch my ships while I'm gone."

I immediately disappeared.

[Marco P.O.V.]

"It seems like he isn't as heartless as the rumors say, huh pops."

"He is still a Brat with a big mouth."

"Hahaha, you can't easily change how kids behave."

Pops and the rest that came with him got on board.

"Forget about the brat. How he acts is none of our business." said pops

[10 minutes later]

Ken suddenly appeared back on his ship.

"What happened, Ken?"

"Why would you care? I thought that Whitemustache would have told you not to talk to me."

"What did you just call pops!?"

"I'm pissed of, so don't piss me off more, Marco the Burned Chicken."

'This bastard!'

"Hahahaha, you've got balls, brat! I'll give you that." said pops

"Why are you complimenting him, pops?"

"Because he is funny."

"Hahaha, yeah. That was a good one." said Jozu

'I feel betrayed.'

"I'm sorry Marco, I didn't mean that. I'm just pissed because the creepy looking old man that was stalking them was just someone poor old guy that wanted to sell them some souvenirs to feed his family."

[Ken P.O.V.]

"Hahaha, I see. Well whatever, I don't hold grudges against people that are weaker than me anyway." said Marco

"So that's why you're holding a grudge against me. How pitiful."

"Hahahaha!"

Whitebeard and the rest started laughing, but Marco glared at me.

*WOOSH*

I threw a flash towards his head, and he caught it.

"I hope that this makes you forget your grudge."

"This isn't poisoned, right?"

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Who knows."

"You bastard!"

He threw it back to me, and I caught it. I opened it up and drank everything inside.

"Aahh, it's still so good!"

He looked like he was about to explode.

'I better ask Deuce if there is something wrong with me. Why do I keep pissing of people that are weaker than me?'
