74 Chapter 74

I started sensing around me, and my heart almost stopped.

'I can sense 26 wolves, and I can't sense that far yet. I don't want to imagine how many of those wolves there are here in total.'

I started sensing for a way out of here.

'So we're in a maze. This is going to be tricky because there are also wolves inside the maze.'

I started whispering to Robert.

"We have ended up in a maze filled with more of those wolves."

I could sense him becoming scared, but he didn't make any noise.

I grabbed his arm.

"I'll get us out of here. Just make sure not to make any noise."

He didn't say anything.

'I'm glad that I didn't come here with Ace. He would have every enemy in this castle on us in seconds.'

[Flashback end]

'We are almost at the exit. I can already sense it.'

*CLICK*

'What was that!?'

*WOOSH*

"Get down!"

I grabbed his head and slammed both of us down on the ground.

I sensed something like arrows flying above our heads.

When I sensed that nothing was coming anymore, we stood up.

'Damn, that was close.'

*WOOSH*

I suddenly sensed something coming to my head.

I just managed to turn around, and I barely saw a mouth full of teeth.

'Shit!'

"Shadow Punch!"

*BAM*

The wolf got sent flying back. But I could sense more of his friends coming towards us.

"Shit, we need to run now!"

I grabbed his arm and ran out of the maze as quickly as possible through a big open gate.

*BOOM*

*BAM*

Robert and I managed to shut the gates before they got to us, and they all smacked against the closed gate.

*HUFF*

"Sigh. That was close." said Robert

"It sure was."

*WOOSH*

We suddenly saw the torches in the room igniting and showing us a large room with something much scarier than the wolves outside.

We are standing opposite a black wolf with emerald eyes. Unlike the other ones, this guy does have a nose. He also easily towers over the giants.

"Shadow Vortex!"

Robert created a massive vortex in front of it and tried to suck it in.

*WOOSH*

*BAM*

The giant wolf suddenly appeared in front of us, and he tried to hit Robert, but he went right through him and hit the wall.

Robert and I jumped away.

Robert smirked.

"Hahaha, it seems like that fool can't hurt me."

The wolf suddenly smiled.

"Uh, Robert. I would be careful if I were you."

"Why?"

"I can sense Haki from him!"

"What!?"

*WOOSH*

*BOOM*

The wolf again appeared in front of Robert, but this time his paw turned black, and he hit Robert, sending him flying into the wall.

"Robert!"

"Argh, you bastard!"

The wolf smirked at him.

'What the hell is that thing! I remember Ken saying that every living being can unlock Haki, but I didn't take it seriously at that time. Now that I see an actual animal or whatever it is using Haki, I don't want to imagine what kind of monsters are out there.'

The wolf looked at me, and then it suddenly walked back to the middle of the room and started sleeping.

"Huh!?" x2

We were both surprised by the wolf's action.

"Uh, are you okay, Robert?"

"Yeah, it didn't hurt that much. I don't think he used all his strength."

'Is this bastard saying, "I'm just playing right now, so think about your next course of actions very carefully.". He must be.'

I walked to the wolf.

"What are you doing, Sabo!?"

"Just let me handle this."

I stood in front of the wolf.

"Yo."

*GROWL*

He looked at me annoyed.

"Would you be so kind as to let us leave this place, please?"

He looked surprised, but then he smirked.

He held his pawn in front of me and showed me his two middle fingers.

'This bastard!'

(An: wolves have one 4 fingers/toes on each paw.)

"Since you aren't being so kind, I also won't behave nicely."

He's wearing a necklace with a purple gem on it.

*WOOSH*

I grabbed his gem and smirked at him.

"Thank you for this nice present."

His playful face suddenly disappeared, and he started releasing a terrifying amount of bloodlust.

'What!? This is even worse than Ken's bloodlust!'

I immediately jumped back to Robert.

"You idiot! Why did you piss him off!? Now we will never make it out of here alive!"

I looked at him and smiled.

"Why are you so worried? You can just teleport us out of here, right?"

He didn't say anything.

"Right?"

"Sigh. Did you already forget? I told you the other day that I can't teleport somewhere if I have no clue where I even am."

"Oh, yeah, I kinda forgot."

*WOOSH*

The wolf suddenly jumped above us.

"Well, it was nice knowing you."

"Don't talk like that, you idio-"

*BAM*

*BOOM*

He slammed us down on the ground and the ground suddenly caved in, making the three of us fall through the floor.

I looked down.

'Shit, this fall is too high!'

<Geppo>

Robert and I tried to use geppo to not fall to our deaths, but the wolf didn't let us go.

I glared at him.

"It seems like I have to teach you how to fall death like the dirty mutt you are!"

He looked at me like I killed his whole family, and his bloodlust increased.

*BAM*

I started hitting him over and over again on his leg.

'Shit his skin is too strong!'

"It seems like I have to get serious, you dirty mutt."

I turned my hands in claws that looked like a dragon's and grabbed hold of his leg.

*WOOSH*

I used both my hands to rip the flesh of his legs.

*AWOOOO*

He let us go and started howling.

<Geppo>

Robert and I used Geppo to slow down our fall, but we couldn't stabilize ourselves and kept falling.

*BOOM*

The wolf fell through the floor and we fell after him.

*BOOM*

He fell on the ground again, but this time he didn't go through it.

We finally managed to stabilize ourselves, and we landed next to it safely.

"Sigh. That was an experience." said Robert

"It sure was."

I looked at my hands that are covered in blood.

'The prize for being the first to master the Rokushiki techniques wasn't only learning Haki since everyone would be taught that. But the real price is a technique called Ryusoken or Dragon Claw Fist. I don't know how Ken managed to get this, but he said that it was extremely hard to get and he hasn't mastered it yet.'

"What the f*ck are you guys doing!?" screamed Ken

"Huh?"

I looked around and saw Ken, Brook, Robin, and Laffitte fighting against eight huge metal monsters.

"Uh, we kinda had a situation, but we handled it."

I looked at the wolf and it stared right back at me.

'He survived!'

I smiled at him awkwardly.

"Yo, how are you doing today, good sir?"

*BAM*

He smacked me into a pillar.

"I'm also doing good. Thank you for asking."

*WOOSH*

He appeared in front of me, but he didn't attack me. He just looked at my pocket, where I put the purple gem.

I smirked.

"So you're afraid to attack me because I have the gem. What an unfortunate situation."

He turned around and ran towards Robert.

'Shit! This guy is too smart!'

"Ey, get back here, you bastard!"
