We walked through the gate.

*WOOSH*

The massive gate suddenly shut closed.

"I think it's best if I leave now." said Robert

He opened a portal and tried to run away, but I grabbed him before he could.

"Didn't you say that you were going to protect Robin?"

"But…"

I let him go.

"Fine, run away. I expected more from someone with a 250 million berry bounty."

We started walking further into the castle.

"Wait!" screamed Robert

He ran back to us.

"It seems like you have some balls left." said Sabo

"Shut up."

We kept walking when we arrived before 4 stairs. One goes up, one goes down, one goes left, and one goes right.

"What should we do now?" asked Brogy

"We have to split up. I'm sure that two of us are more than capable enough to get through whatever is past those stairs. Brogy, Dorry, you two go left."

They nodded.

"Sabo, Robert, you two go up."

They nodded.

"Laffitte, Robin, you two go right, and Brook and I will go down."

They nodded.

"Alright, let's get going. If something happens, contact me."

"We split up."

Brook and I started going down the stairs.

"Are you sure that this is a good idea? There may be ghosts or monsters down here."

"You can just pretend to be dead since you look like you already are."

"That a fantastic idea!"

"But if you do, I'll make sure to feed your bones to whatever monster is down there."

"It is a horrible idea! I would never do something like that."

"Good to know, you still have some balls hidden behind those bones."

We arrived at the end of the stairs in a massive open area. It looks like a throne room, but without a throne.

This place is also filled with skeletons, but these are all World Government people.

"Captain, look at those huge statues made out of metal."

There were a total of eight Huge metal statues. They are even bigger than Dorry and Brogy.

'What the hell is this place?'

"Let's check this place out. I'm sure that we can find something interesting here."

We walked further into the room.

I grabbed Brook and jumped back, saving us from a massive blade, almost cutting us in half.

I looked at the one who swung the blade.

"The statues are alive!?"

"Captain, what should we do!?"

"Let's get back to the others and regroup."

We tried to run back to the entrance, but it got covered up by a wall coming from the ground.

'I have no time for this bullshit.'

My hand turned black, and I punched the wall.

*THUD*

"ARGH! What the hell is that wall made off!?"

I looked back and saw the statue, glaring at us with red eyes.

Brook started shaking.

"Brook, listen up. This isn't the time to get scared. I need your help with taking out this guy."

"But he looks strong."

"So did Oars, but you defeated him. Just use the same technique and attack his inside while I attack the outside. If we team up, we can defeat him in no time."

*SHIIIIIIING*

He took out his sword.

"Understood, Captain."

"Good. Now let's get this sucker!"

I was getting ready to attack when Brook suddenly tapped my shoulder.

"Captain!"

"What is it? This isn't the time to chicken out."

"They are all alive!"

"What!?"

I looked around and saw that the other's eyes also started glowing red, and they started moving.

'They can all move!? What the hell are these things!? They look like robots, but there is no way that they would have such technology back then!'

"What should we do, Captain!?"

"Call the others and ask for their situation."

He took out a Den Den Mushi and tried to call them.

"It doesn't work! I think that something is interfering with the signal."

"Shit!"

I tried to sense what's going on outside.

I looked at what the others were doing and it seems like they're still walking through the castle.

*WOOSH*

*CLANG*

A massive blade suddenly came towards my head, but I blocked it.

"Ey, Brook. If we make it out of here alive, you're buying me drinks."

"What, why!?"

"Because I said so."

*WOOSH*

I disappeared and appeared behind the statue that first attacked us.

I was about to strike him when another guy swung his blade at me.

*CLANG*

*BOOM*

I blocked it, but he still sent me flying into the wall.

"Brook, stop staring like an idiot and come help me already!"

"Sorry, Captain!"

*WOOSH*

*BOOM*

He made his move and tried to slice up one of them, but he also got sent into the wall right next to me.

"Hello, Captain."

"Sigh, why did I even expect you to do something useful."

*WOOSH*

4 blades suddenly came flying towards our heads.

"LOOK OUT!"

[Laffitte P.O.V.]

We arrived in a room with a weird-looking floor and a blue gem up on a pedestal.

"I can immediately tell that standing on the floor tiles will activate a trap." said Robin.

"Yeah, but I don't think all of them will. So they probably want us to use those that aren't rigged to get to the other side."

"We could also just jump over it."

"That could also work. I'll go and check it out."

I jumped to the other side, but flames started spewing from the sealing before I could make it.

<Geppo>

I used Geppo to jump back. When I landed next to Robin, needles suddenly came flying towards us.

*CLANG*

I used my cane to deflect all the needles.

When the needles stopped coming, I carefully picked one up.

"They have poison on them. It seems like we will have to take the regular route."

"I could use my Devil Fruit to get the gem, but I'm afraid that there is an extra trap there."

"Yeah, it's better to play this safe. Follow me and get ready to jump back at any second."

She nodded.

I started inspecting every tile carefully.

"I've figured out the path. Let's go."

I stood on the 2nd tile from the right, and she also stepped on it. No trap activated, so I was about to step on the next tile when I suddenly felt that there was something wrong.

I checked the tiles again.

"I see. The person that made this is smart. The tiles change every time you step on one. It's not a big deal, but it will take a little longer."

[10 minutes later]

We finally made it to the pedestal.

"Alright, let me check if there are any more traps."

After a little, I couldn't find anything.

"Alright, it's clear."

"I'm going to check out the writing on the walls."

I nodded.

I looked at the gem on the pedestal.

'It looks like it's a valuable gem, but it's not like we need the money. But it might be important for something, so it's best if I take it with me.'

I was about to grab it.

"Wait!"

"What is it, Robin?"

"There is still a trap left."

"Really?"

She went over the wall with her hand, and she suddenly pressed against the wall, and a portion of the wall started going down, revealing a staircase downward. And the pedestal suddenly started rising till it was up to my chest. It didn't reach higher than my knees at first.

"You can take it off now."

I grabbed the gem, and nothing happened.

"Did you read that on the weird-looking text?"

"Yes. It's the same language as what is used on the Poneglyph. That's probably why they got taken out by the World Government."

"Hahaha, I would have loved to be here when that happened."

She glared at me.

"Yeah, sorry. It's a sensitive topic for you."

"Let's just get down the stairs. This should lead us to where Ken is."

"Why didn't you say so sooner. Let's get going."

We started walking down the stairs.
