4 Chapter 4

[1 month later]

I have been living an amazing life with Ace and the bandits. Everyone is so nice to me. Ace and I have already started saving up for our journey. Even though we weren't able to get much, we still have 12 years.

Ace and I have become really close in this month. I guess after I told him my story, he realized that there are worse parents out there.

I've also checked what I looked like, and I was surprised by my above-average face. I have blue eyes with short black hair. It seems like without these scars and bruises, I can finally walk proudly on the streets.

We were all sitting and having fun in the hideout when the door suddenly opened, and a tall and wide person walked in.

"Yo, Ace."

'So this is the Marine Hero Garp.'

"What do you want, old man?"

Garp started laughing. He went towards Ace and picked him up by his head.

"It looks like I need to teach you some manners. Hahahaha!"

Looking at the rest, I could see that it was a common occurrence.

"Let me go, you old fart."

"FIST OF LOVE!"

*BAM*

A huge bulge came out of Ace's head.

"ARGH, you bastard."

Ace looked at me with a pleading look. I just nodded and took out a dagger that was strapped to my side. I jumped on Garp's back and put the knife against his throat.

"I'm sorry old man, but can you please let my friend go?" I asked while smiling at him

He had an amused look on his face.

"Hahaha, you brats really don't know who you're up against."

I held the knife closer to his throat, making a little bit of blood come out.

I smirked at him.

He got a big smile on his face.

"Hahahaha, you are either really courageous or really stupid."

He let go of Ace and grabbed my dagger.

"What will you do now?"

Ace nodded at me, and I smirked at Garp.

"I will do the obvious thing."

I let go of the knife, and Ace and I ran out of the hideout. When I looked behind me, I saw that Garp had a shocked look on his face.

After we were a fair distance from the hideout, we stopped and gave each other a fist bump.

"Hahahahaha!" We both started laughing.

"You got him good." said Ace

"Hahaha, did you see the look on his face! It was priceless."

*BAM*

Ace and I got sent flying into a tree. Garp appeared in front of us with an angry look.

"Did you brats think that you could escape from me that easily?"

Ace and I got scared stiff. Garp then looked at me and threw my dagger next to me.

"Ey brat, apologize for making my shirt dirty!"

'This guy is crazy. He cares more about his shirt than the injury.'

I stood up and grabbed my dagger. Ace also stood up. I looked at Garp with a smirk.

"You must be dreaming if you think that I'll apologize to you."

He smirked.

"How about you tell me your name before I kill you."

"Ken."

*BAM*

I got sent into a tree again.

"Ken!" screamed Ace

I stood up and smiled at Ace.

"What are you screaming for? Let's get this bastard."

He smiled back.

"Alright."

We tried to attack him, but we got sent back into a tree.

"I'll show both of you the strength of my FIST OF LOVE!"

*BAM*

[1 hour later]

Ace and I are lying on the ground while Garp went to the hideout.

I looked at Ace and smiled.

"I didn't know you were that weak."

He frowned.

"Have you seen yourself? You look like a mess."

"But you look way worse."

We looked at each other.

"Hahahaha!" x2

'It might seem crazy to attack Garp like this, but Ace, Luffy, and Sabo have been trained by Garp like this. That is probably why Luffy was so resilient. In this month, I have found out that my body is stronger than I thought. I can get sent into a tree and still stand up afterward.'

We both stood up and used each other as support to get back to the hideout. When we arrived there, we got bandaged by Dadan.

Ace and I were lying in bed, resting when Garp came and sat next to me.

"You have guts kid, to attack me even though you know you won't stand a chance."

I smirked.

"I just wanted to compare the me now vs the me when I'm older."

He started laughing.

"Hahaha, are you saying that you'll fight me again when you're older?"

"Yup."

He looked a little bit serious.

"So what will you become after you are old enough."

I looked at Ace, and he was about to stop me from talking.

"I want to become a Marine."

"Huh?"

Ace was shocked, but Garp looked happy.

"Hahahaha, I already like you more than Ace. How about you join the marines right now?"

"Nah, I can't leave Ace here alone. How about I join when I'm 12 years old?"

Garp had a big smile on his face.

"Hahahaha, I will train you personally when you join."

He looked at his watch.

"It's already getting late, so I need to get going, bye."

He left the hideout, and everyone looked at me, surprised. Ace was the only one who looked at me angrily.

"Are you really going to become a Marine?" asked Ace

I winked at him.

"Of course, it's a noble job. It would be my honor to join them."

Ace seemed to get what I was doing.

He looked at me angrily.

"Once I can stand again, I will kill you."

I smirked at him.

"I'll be waiting for your baby punches then."

He glared at me.

"It seems like the old bastard punched you into an idiot."

"You want to go, baby punch."

"Let's go!"

We both tried to stand up.

*BAM*

We both got knocked back down by Dadan.

She glared at us.

"You guys are heavily injured, so stay in bed and rest before I finish off the two of you myself!"

We both lied back down.

'She sure can be scary.'

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
