He smirked at Deuce, Ace, and Sabo.

"The navigator is supposed to be the Second Mate! You can't just promote him like that!" screamed Deuce

"Guys, why are you so stressed out? We just have to beat Laffite and eliminate him as competition." said Ace

Shadows came out of the floor and bound the three of them.

The ground underneath them suddenly turned into shadows, and they disappeared.

'It seems like he has been training hard. He also seems way more confident. He would normally not dare to involve himself with any of the fights within the crew. I'm happy for him.'

I turned around to the girls and looked at them with a serious look.

"I have an important mission for the three of you."

"What is it?" asked Robin

"At the end of the day, I want every part of this ship to be clean."

They immediately ran inside of the ship to get cleaning supplies.

I looked at the ship and smiled.

"My name is Ken, and I'm the Captain. I'm looking forward to the adventure we'll have together with the crew, Dark Star."

I jumped off of Dark Star, and I suddenly sensed something.

I looked at the forest.

'I don't sense anyone in the forest. That must mean that they're outside of my range.'

I disappeared and started running towards the direction I sensed it at.

*WOOSH*

I started speeding up.

'Found him. He is trying to run away, but he isn't fast.'

"Who are you, and why were you spying on me?"

He had a calm look on his face.

"I'm sorry if I bothered you, but I just wanted to check out your ship. Your senses are really good to be able to spot me from such a distance. But I guess you don't have a 400 million berry bounty for nothing."

"Haha, are you saying that your surprised that someone has senses better than yours?"

"With all due respect, I don't think that your senses are better than mine."

"Well, whatever, just don't point your gun at my head the next time, or I'll… Well, I'm sure that you can imagine that for yourself."

I started walking away.

"Wait."

I stopped and turned around.

"What is it?"

"I overheard a conversation between your crewmates about the Sky Islands."

I glared at him.

"Overheard? You mean you spied on them."

He took a step back.

"Sigh, just tell me what you want already."

"I would like to join you and your crew on your journey to the Sky Islands."

"Why should I trust you? If I didn't dodge that bullet, you would have killed me. And you could be an undercover marine trying to capture us or something."

He had a disgusted look on his face.

"I've killed two marines when I was a kid and a lot more followed once I grew up."

"So, you're a psychopathic killer."

"I don't kill everyone, just mainly those dirty marines."

"I'm sure that they aren't the only ones, but fine, if you pay me 1 million, I'll let you come on board with us."

"No, I need to know if the Sky Islands are actually real. And I believe that it is fate that I met you here today."

I walked away.

All of us plus the guy from yesterday are on the ship.

Sabo came to me and whispered in my ear.

"Are you sure that we can trust him?"

"What is the worst that can happen? Just keep an eye on him."

I walked towards the guy.

"Do you have the money?"

He gave me a bag.

"The 1 million berries are in that bag."

I threw it to Laffitte to count.

"Since you'll be on our ship for a little bit, how about you tell me your name."

"My name is Van Augur."

"It's nice to meet you, Van Augur. I'm sure that you already know all of us, so there no need to introduce ourselves."

The clouds started turning dark.

"Captain, we need to get going. It's coming soon." said Laffitte.

"Alright, Sabo, pull up the anchor. Laffite, take hold of the wheel, and the rest pull down the sails."

They started doing what they were told to do we started sailing towards the sea.

A little bit later, Laffitte told us to stop.

"Alright, Deuce, Sabo, activate the wings. Laffitte, keep the ship stable, and the rest pull the sails back up."

*WOOSH*

The sea started to act up.

"It's coming! Everyone hold on!"

*WOOSH*

The water under us started to rise.

*WOOOOOSH*

The water suddenly exploded into a pillar that reached all the way into the clouds, and the current started to take us up.

"It worked! We're actually moving upwards!" screamed Deuce

"Hahaha, this is just the beginning. Next, we will start flying."

"What do you mean!?" asked Ace

"What do you think these wings are for, you idiot."

"Captain, the ship is starting to leave the pillar. If this keeps going, we're going to fall!" screamed Robert

I looked up and saw broken ships falling down.

"Ace, burn everything above us to a crisp."

He nodded and started burning everything that came our way.

"The rest of you pull the sails back down."

They pulled the sails down.

"Captain, the ship is starting to leave the stream."

"Don't worry about it. Just sit back and watch how my girl is going to fly!"

"Are you actually being serious!?" screamed Mikita

The ship left the stream.

*WOOSH*

The wind current from down bellow started pushing us up, and we started flying.

"We're actually flying!" screamed Robert

Mikita jumped on me and hugged me.

"You're amazing."

I patted her head.

"This is just the beginning. We'll see and do many more amazing things in the future."

"I'm looking forward to it!"

"We've reached the clouds!" screamed Robert

*WOOSH*

We flew into the clouds.

[School is really starting to annoy me. Why the hell do we have two online lessons in the morning and then have to go to school at 3 pm! It's a 1-hour journey for me. Like can't they make a f*cking normal school schedule! Can somebody just start a fire in my school or something?
