I was standing on a stage with thousands of people in front of me. My crew was standing next to me.
"So, as you guys might know, my name is Ken. My crew and I rid your kingdom of the filth that was plaguing it and giving all of you the freedom you deserve. But you might be asking why a pirate group would go out of their way to help people."
I took a deep breath.
"And I'm not going to lie by telling you that it was for some righteous reason or that I'm a hero. I came here to make this island my territory."
*GASP*
Everyone looked shocked.
Before they could start arguing, I started talking again.
"And don't worry, I won't be a tyrant like that guy. All I ask of you is to train amazing doctors for my future fleet, and of course, I won't take all of your doctors. I purpose that Kureha will take care of training all the doctors."
"What! Who said that I wou-"
"And of course I will give something back in return. Protection. I promise that as long as this place is under my protection, I will not let anything happen to it."
Dalton stepped up.
"How will you protect us, and who is going to be our leader when you're gone?"
"For protection, I have two giants who will be enough, and as for a leader, you guys can choose who becomes king under yourselves. Oh, and to get the giants here, you guys have to build a huge ship and pick them up."
"Are we really going to have giants protecting our island!?"
Everyone was shocked that something as strong as a giant would protect them. Giant are legendary warriors, after all.
"I'm a man of my word. I won't let any of you be touch as long as you serve under me. So what is your choice?"
They were all hesitating.
'Wasn't my offer good enough?'
Suddenly Dalton went on one knee.
"I hereby swear my loyalty to Lord Ken!" screamed Dalton
After a little hesitation, everyone went on their knee.

"Good, now that that is settled; you guys can go ahead and choose your king. Of course, I will be above the king, but he or she will be ruling in my stead. And if the king abuses their authority, I will cut them down."

I threw an eternal log pose and a Den Den Mushi to Dalton.
"Huh, what is this for?"
"The log pose leads to the island where the giants are. I will contact them in advance to let them know you guys are coming, and the Den Den Mushi is so that I can keep in contact with you guys."
"I understand, sir. We will build a ship and pick up the giants."
"Alright, we'll be going then."
"Wait!"
"What?"
"We've prepared a banquet for you. We will be honored if you could come."
I smiled.
"How can I say no to free food. Alright guys, let's party.
"YEAH!!!"
[Next day]
We are on our ship, and everyone is waving us goodbye, and Chopper is crying.
'Poor guy, it would love to take him with me, but we already have a doctor, and Luffy will need Chopper more than me.'
"Why couldn't we stay longer? It was so nice to be treated like a king." said Deuce
"You can just go home and be treated like that."
"Tsk, shut up."
The ship started sailing away when Robert suddenly appeared on our ship.
"Hm, why did you come."
"Does your offer still stand?"
I smirked.
"Why did you change your mind?"
"You saved my life."
"But I was the one who got you in danger in the first place."
He looked at Deuce.
"Hahaha."
"What are you laughing at?"
I patted his head.
"You must have been really happy when Deuce was concerned about you. Hahaha!"
He slapped my hand away, and he looked the other way.
"Shut up. I don't know what you're talking about."
"Hahaha, fine. Welcome to my crew, Robert."
I held out my hand, and he shook it.
The ship has already sailed far away from the island.
"Good, now let's have a welcoming party to our new crewmate!"
"YEAH!" x4
Robert had a small smile on his face.
'The poor guy must have never experienced any kind of love. Maybe it was a good thing that I took him away from that place after all.'
[Next day]
We are on our way to Alabasta.
"What are your plans in Alabasta?" asked Ace
I smirked.
"Winning the jackpot."
He looked confused.
"We will pick up our Archaeologist, make a lot of money, and get our second territory."
They all looked shocked.
"Are you crazy! How in the hell are we going to make Alabasta our territory? Do you even know how big and powerful Alabasta is? It has over 10.000.000 people!" screamed Laffitte
I smirked.
"Then aren't we lucky that there is a civil war going on."
"What?"
"You'll see when we get there."
"How do you even know all these things, captain?" asked Laffitte
"I was trained at Marine HQ for a couple of years."

"You were a marine!" screamed Deuce
"Nah, I just tricked the strongest marine into training me and became a pirate right after I got back home."

"Marine hero, Monkey D. Garp."

They were about to faint, and Ace and Sabo were about to die of laughter.
"Sigh, so that was why he was chasing us back then." said Laffitte
"I don't think it was a good idea to join you." said Robert
"Hahaha, look at the bright side. A marine legend has personally trained our captain. That means that we can become stronger by following him." said Deuce
"When you say it like that, I think I will stay after all."
"Hahaha, I didn't know you guys where so scared of the marines."
"But this is the top of the marine we're talking about." said Laffitte
"Haha, unlike you guys, I stopped caring about who is at the top a long time ago."
"Why is that?" asked Deuce
"I almost killed a Celestial Dragon."
No one said a word.
"You did what!" screamed Ace
"What the hell were you thinking!" screamed Sabo
"Shut up and let me explain."
They quieted down.
[Flashback 2 years ago]
Garp has brought me to Sabaody Archipelago today. He said that he had some business here and told me to do whatever I wanted and disappeared.
'Great, what am I supposed to do here alone? I guess I'll just go and look around.'
I started walking through the shopping district when everyone suddenly bowed down.
'What the hell are they doing?'
I kept looking at the shop when I suddenly heard a disgusting voice.
"You peasant! How dare you stand up while I'm here! Bow down now!"
I turned around and saw a celestial dragon sitting on a skinny guy who is walking on his arms and legs.
'Isn't that the same one Luffy punched? I should leave before things get ugly.'
I tried to use soru to get away when I got stopped by one of his bodyguards.
'What! Weren't they supposed to be useless? But I guess it does make sense for him to have strong bodyguards.'
"What are you idiots standing around for! Kill him!" screamed the Celestial Bastard
