I was walking towards my ship.

*BAM*

*THUD*

Someone ran into me and fell on the ground.

'This bastard.'

He stood up.

"I'm really sorry, sir."

He was about to run away, but I grabbed his arm.

I glared at him.

"Give me back my wallet."

"Tsk, I don't have anything."

I put some force on his arm.

"Argh!"

"Are you sure?"

"Boss, I found him!"

A group of 15 men came running towards us.

"It seems like I wasn't the only one you stole from."

They surrounded us.

"We've got you now, brat! You have nowhere to run anymore." said a thin and frail-looking guy

He pointed at me.

"And who are you?"

"This idiot stole my wallet."

"Oh, I see. So how about we work together to teach him a lesson?"

I looked at the guy.

"Give me back my wallet, and I'll let you go."

He gave me back my wallet, and after I checked that everything was still there, I let him go.

"I wish you luck with surviving."

I walked away and kept going towards my ship.

After arriving at the ship, I found Sabo watching the ship.

"Hahaha, did you lose?"

"Tsk, they were cheating."

"Hahaha, that's what a loser would say."

He glared at me.

"Alright, calm down. I'm going to take a nap. Wake me up when everyone is back."

"Sure."

I went into my cabin and took a nap.

[3 hours later]

"Yo, Ken. Everyone is back."

I woke up and walked out of my cabin. I found everyone ready to go.

"Sigh. Sabo, come on. I told you to watch the ship, and you let a rat slip in."

"What? But I didn't see anyone enter."

*WOOSH*

I disappeared.

"AAHH!"

I appeared back with the thief who stole my wallet.

He glared at me.

"What do you want with me?"

"Hm?"

"You're the one who came onto my ship without permission. But I have to say; I'm impressed that you were able to escape from those guys."

"They were nothing."

"So, what are you doing on my ship."

He looked away.

"Not answering, huh."

*WOOSH*

I was about to kick him off my ship when my foot went right through him. The part that I hit turned into a black shadow.

"Tsk."

He suddenly completely turned into a shadow and was about to disappear into the floor. But I managed to grab his head with my Haki before he managed to getaway. I pulled him out of the ground and punched him in his stomach with my other hand coated in Haki.

"ARGH!"

"So, you have a Devil Fruit and a logia at that."

"How are you able to hit me!?"

"It's because I'm stronger. Ey Laffitte, you said that you have a pair of those things, right?"

He nodded.

"Lend them to me for a second."

He threw me a pair of handcuffs and a key.

*CLICK*

I put the handcuffs on him.

"What is happening!? Why am I losing my strength, and why can't I use my powers!?"

"Sea prism handcuffs. They work just like the sea towards Devil Fruit users."

"So, what are you going to do with me now?"

"It depends on what your answers are. Why where you on my ship?"

"Who are you?"

"..."

"Where did you get your Devil Fruit from."

"..."

"What is your Devil Fruit?"

"..."

"Why are you so ugly?"

"You're ugly! You m*therf*cker!"

"Hahaha, you're a funny guy. Laffitte, bind him to the mast and search him for any weapons or something like that."

He nodded.

"What are you going to do with me!?"

"I'm just interested in your Devil Fruit, so you're gonna come with us for a little bit."

"Captain, I found a knife necklace on him."

He gave them to me.

"You bastard! Give that back to me right now! I'm going to kill you!" screamed the thief

'This is one of those necklaces with a picture inside.'

"Laffitte, I asked you to search for weapons. This isn't a weapon."

"I'm sorry, captain."

I put the necklace back in his pocket.

"We aren't bad guys, but we will never be merciful to our enemies. I spared you back in town, but that isn't going to happen a second time."

He glared at me.

"Do you have anyone waiting for you at home?"

He looked down.

"I don't have a home."

"I see, well, then there is nothing to worry about."

I threw an eternal log pose to Laffitte.

"Follow that thing."

He nodded.

Ace and Deuce pulled the sails down, and Sabo pulled up the anchor.

I looked at the thief.

"Since we will be staying with each other for a little, we might as well get to know each other. That's Laffitte, that's Ace, that's Sabo, that's Deuce, and I'm Ken."

His eyes were about to bulge out.

"Don't tell me you're that Ken!"

"Hahaha, the one and only."

"Hahaha, I was screwed from the moment I choose your ship."

"It's good that you can still laugh about it."

The ship started to leave the port.

"So, what's your name?"

"Robert."

"Nice to meet ya. I hope you have fun in hell."

He started sweating.

"Hahaha, just kidding. Ey Deuce, you're responsible for making sure he eats."

"What!? Why me?"

"Because you're the doctor. You're supposed to help people."

"I hate you."

We were already far from the island.

'Robert could be a gift from the heavens. He has a logia Devil Fruit that I've never seen. It has something to do with shadows, and he could go through the floor. If he could go through anything, he would become the best thief/assassin. He could rival even Laffitte.'

I looked at Robert.

'But it will be difficult to have him join us. I am kinda kidnapping him after all. But I would normally beat someone up if they got onto my ship without permission.'

I sat on the railing and looked out onto the sea.

'But I do wonder how I was able to grab him. Maybe he didn't have his fruit for too long, or his senses aren't the sharpest. Or maybe he just doesn't want people to know about it. After all, it's a logia.'

"Captain."

"Yes, Laffitte?"

"This island called Little Garden, what are we going there for?"

"I heard about there being two strong people worth recruiting there."

"Who are they?"

"You wouldn't know them, but 100 years ago, they were a big deal."

"100 years ago!? Are you sure that they are still alive and in the condition to fight?"

"Hahaha, if it weren't for your speed, you would be f*cked."

"Are you saying that I can't beat them?"

"Maybe. But you can try your luck when we meet them. Oh, and they also have a 100 million berry bounty each."

"Damn you, Ken. You're doing this on purpose." said Deuce

"It's your fault for not doing anything noteworthy. If it weren't for me, you would have a bounty of 10 million max."

He glared at me.

"But, it's still higher than Laffitte."

He also glared at me.

"Hahaha. Go and stop bothering me with useless things."

The walked away.

'Could you imagine a giant with Busoshoku Haki. If I could take out all their potential, they will become a force to be reckoned with. I already can't wait to create a giant army. If I manage to make Elbaf my territory, even an emperor would think twice before challenging me.'
